That probably wouldn't have been a sac fly, but then again with first base open they may have pitched ARod differently. He should have tried to steal.

29 pitches in the 1st, unless they suddenly put the ball into play on the 1st pitch, I'd say he's out after 3-4 innings. However, we need to pile on the runs. Can't strand runners like that.

How do you figure? We scored 1 (more would have been nice, sure) and made them pitch 30 pitches or so.
We keep it up, and their bullpen will be stretched.
This is why Alex gets his rap....he missed two unbelievably fat pitches in that ab.

That has been their m.o. lately -- make the pitchers work, but then leave a small army on base. Awful ABs by Giambi and A-Rod.

Perhaps he wants to get a bit tired first? Sinker ballers usually tend to leave the ball up when they come out to fresh and strong, his last start might have something to do with this as well.

Because he throws sinkers 85% of the time. The ball continues to go down and its like hitting a shot put. Posada doesnt call for many 4 seamers despite the fact Wang throws 94 MPH. Kevin Brown back in the day got alot of K's because he would throw the 4 seamer up and hitters were expecting it.
Thats the difference from I can tell.
