I know, Sam. It's one of the reasons I stopped going. Up until the middle of 1998 you could get good tickets right up til game time. I guess success changes everything.... not that I want them to start missing the play-offs so I can get good tickets though.

I happened to attend Mussina's last start vs. the Orioles. The Orioles were uncharacteristically patient vs. Mussina in that game, ramping up his pitch count (96 in 5 innings). I would assume they'll have a similar approach tonight.

Minor vent: Bobby has been frigging excellent since he got here, attitude has been amazing, delivered in the field, an arm we respect, patient at the plate and hitting well. So why in God's name do some folks need to find something to start a thread about him, the 'wall' issue is bogus....apparently there is no such thing as a player who some fans have to find a defect they can obsess about....

Orlovsky is going to give McCown a run for his money at backup...I'd love to see him get the job done. Kitna is the starter...but anything can happen..;)
I didn't see the game 'live'...but checked the 'boxscore' in Saturday mornings Miami Herald...Orlovsky had excellent #'s...:)
My kid played high school football against him and Orlovsky was some kind of talented high school QB.... nice to see someone I watched play in high school make it to the NFL. I know I'm rooting for him.

the umps are incapable of giving Moose a fair strike zone
