Thankfully, they're not facing a rookie pitcher they've never seen before, and who has no advance scouting report, or else they're doomed....

Lackey has been nasty this year. Hopefully we can get more than 3 hits through 6 innings. Maybe even a run or 9.
I recently found out that Clifford is quite racist towards Italians. What you think about that Lou?

A split of this series would be very nice. The last thing I want to do is have to hear, read and see more crap of the Angels' domination of the Yankees if they take 3 of 4.
Perception around NYYFans.com will greatly change for the better should we be able to split with LAA and pick up a game on Boston in the process.
Just win, baby.

Good evening my people. How is everyone doing?
Trying to get this split here before taking on the Orioles tomorrow. Johnson vs. Lackey, who is not a good matchup for the Yanks. But we'll have to battle through it.
I see we have some ARod fodder to discuss (why cant he shut his mouth) during tonight and we maybe complaining about other stuff throughout the night. Hopefully, we will have a win to talk about at the end.
I'll have caps tonight.

seriously i agree with you....i could do without the arod drama every single second. If it's not Alex, then it is somthing else. Ever since I've been here, there always seems to be something dividing yankee fans who post here.
It would have been interesting if NYYFans.com had been around in it's current form (13,000 members) in 1998. I feel strongly that members would have found things to argue with eachother about even in that incredible season.

To be honest, I find Hawk Harrelson very entertaining. Even with his "He Gone" antics.
Atleast he has a personality. He bugs me when they are playing the Yankees. Otherwise, I enjoy him too.

What, you mean wouldnt have loved that intriguing Hideki Irabu discussion? I could imagine how things would have been here after that Game 3 of the ALCS in Cleveland when the Indians pounded Pettitte. The bridge jumpers forum would have been in full force.
ok you cant do this to me...now i wanna know IN DETAIL what you did????????????????
Just changed the info to make fun of him. Like how he's known for his unique ability to suck in the first half of most games.

How about that Knoblauch play where he stood and argued with the ump while the Indians guy was scoring all the way from 1st base, and the Yankees lost Game 2? This forum would have been in a riot.
