There's times when Farnsworth looks unhittable, but then he has those outings where he can't get anyone out. This was one of those unhittable outings, thankfully.

Farnsworth kicks ass! I have a vision in my head of night and light... they are exiting and entering, respectively...

cupcollector99
08-14-06, 08:34 PM
When Farnsworth throws like he should, he is completely dominating to hitters...

When he's not overused (no more than one inning, no more than two games in a row) he looks great..

No. Not even close. It's 5-3. And Ortiz is 0 for 3 so some might say that he's due.

Giambi is a better career hitter than A-Rod? Where did you get those facts? A-Rods stats say different.

i don't understand why anyone would use IE, firefox is superior, especially if you take the little time to find plug ins that you like.

I only use IE because I can use MLBTV from it and be able to connect to some of the games with the proxy from it, then being able to use Firefox separately and still have the fast internet connection as if nothing happened.

just a preference, but I use both.

Giambi has a much better OBP while has a lesser slg. A-rod also had the benefit of playing in the Kingdome and Texas. OPS+ adjusts for ballparks. I don't see how this can be debated.

I think pitchers who come in during an inning in relief (not due to injury) should have to come in 'cold', ie no commercial break. It would speed everything up so much more. Of course, it wouldn't bring in as much $$, thus it won't happen.

Yeah, but all the break is, they just take their 7 warm up pitches or whatever it is. So, I really don't agree with that. It's not that they're working the game around the commercial, they're working the broadcast around 7 pitches no one wants to see.

Actually you said career so you would still be wrong. Im not sure how you get those numbers up there but I saw something different.

A-Rod => .958 career
Giambi => .956 career

2006 Season so far
A-Rod=>.899
Giambi => 1.008

What is the VORP for each of them? I only deal with VORP. It's all about the VORP. And if it's not about VORP, then we should look at their HHFGNBTJKBGD+++ career stat, as long as it's park adjusted of course.

Manny's lack of hustle costs the Sawx a run.
