Anytime ;)
I respect fans who are loyal and don't throw their own under the bus after one bad start.
I was thinking about making a post earlier when they showed how RJ is limiting lefties to a .186 BA. That's still pretty impressive and pretty valuable to our staff. Decent lefties always have and always will be hard to find in baseball.
well i do get emotional and curse out guys but usually under my breath...
but randy hasnt been that bad...if he didnt have that terrible stretch of 7 games he'd been having a solid year..
and he was solid last year as well...3.79 era in the AL..if not for him no way they make the playoffs.

game 5 of the 95 play-offs. What was Buck thinking?
Wetteland had been hammered the whole series.....but the crazy thing is, Mariano had come in throwing smoke and actually got the last out on a slider- one of the last I've seen him throw. Anyway....had Buck known what he had in Mariano.....the Yakee dynasty looks different in all likelihood. I am safe with the knowledge that everything probably turned out as it should have.

Hey, I didn't say grand slam :P
It does feel like a lot of the time when the bases are loaded and no one is out, a pitcher will work really hard and get two outs without allowing that runner at 3rd to score and you breathe a sigh of relief and then BAM! Big hit off of him. Nice that it didn't happen this time.
Bernie flies out to CF. 1 out.

Anyway, I just got back from a friend's house, I watched the game until Randy gave up a hit. I just wanted to express my disdain for the childish way Michael Kay announced the game tonight, seemingly going out of his way to make it known Johnson was throwing a no hitter out of spite for the argument he had with a caller on his radio show. He was acting like a total tool.

actually a decent point by Buck: the extented top of the 7th probably threw RJ off his rhythm.
I really think RJ will go on another string of good starts just like he did after the Detroit start.

Is anyone else stuck watching the game on Comcast SportsNet with Homer Harrelson and his brain-dead, Master of the Obvious partner? I have NEVER come so close to muting a couple of games as I have yesterday on WGN and tonight on Comcast... I can't stand to listen to these jokers.
