65 pitches through 5...even more important than the overall lack of white sox advancing beyond the home plate area is the fact that, , fingers crossed, the pen should get a breather tonight. If Rivera is needed, suddenly, his one inning last night looks brilliant.

there's a yankee fan at the final table of the World Series of Poker. he was wearing a Mo jersey for most the even. He made the following post on another gambling/sports forum.

hey all thanks for the support

yea i admit i was a somewhat obnoxious yankee fan last year, but i think this year my posts have been somewhat logical and coherent in the sports forum.

i wore my rivera jersey for day 5 and 6, but decided not to wear it yesterday for the fact that i wanted to save it for the final table if i did make it. luckily for me i didn't wear it, cause my prior success was tied to the yankees...and if i had it on when mo gave that homer up, who knows what would've happened.

but i'll have to have it on during the final table. it was always my DREAM to wear the rivera jersey at the final table of the wsop.

was thinking of a funny way to slowroll someone if i was heads up and about to make the call with the nuts to win...

i would take out my phone and start playing enter sandman theme before i called.

of course, i won't do that cause it's so wrong, but i thought it'd be hilarious...

I respect fans who are loyal and don't throw their own under the bus after one bad start.

I was thinking about making a post earlier when they showed how RJ is limiting lefties to a .186 BA. That's still pretty impressive and pretty valuable to our staff. Decent lefties always have and always will be hard to find in baseball.
