Last night's game made M's fans foam in their lattes. Now NW Yankee fans are as I'm sure some M's fans can't be too happy either as RJ is pitching and the only Yankee that still gets cheers out here from M's fans.

Looong night last night, I was on Metro North getting home from SNY at 1:30, we get to the station before mine, they stop, saying there are third rail fires and trees on the track ahead, then they say it'll be at least 30 minutes before we get going again, so I call my dad, he picks me up, there were trees ALL OVER THE PLACE, he almost couldn't come out to get me, because so many roads were blocked.
Got home at 2:30, watched Melky's HR, which aired at 5, went to sleep, woke up a half hour ago for this....
GO YANKEES, SLEEPLESS IN THE BRONX, GET THE WIN, BABY!!!
On another note, gotta hand it to the guy, Kay's call of Melky's HR was awesome last night. As he crosses home, Michael says "And a child shall lead them home"

There were about 40 people who posted during the delay.
We had about 150-200 in the counter once action resumed, and over 2,000 posts for the game (most in 2006). :)

Its 1 in the afternoon. Its too early to boo. Thats usually reserved for after 7 pm at night. Only the Cubs are the exception. The booing usually starts early and goes on all night.

Against Ichiro, he didn't do it, Ichi gets a single. Meanwhile, against Jones, he was doing it, and got a strikeout

Agreed, esp with Ichiro being the runner. Chances are he will beat the throw to 2nd, even with the pitchout
