I would like to be the male concubine for a domestic partnership of Jeter and Mariano Rivera.

Suprised their not walking Jason here.
Thats actually what I was thinking, too. Jason Giambi has been ON FIRE recently and he's normally good anyways.

Or not. Giambi grounds out to 1st.
At least it's a run and Meche's PC has sky rocketed.

Come on ARod - base hit is all you need to get the boo birds off your back for a minute, anyway :)
Ok, I guess I've lost my ability to read - I swear I read that Giambi walked ... guess not.

36 pitch inning for Meche. Jeter's RBI single cuts the lead in half.

STATISTICAL NOTE - The Yankees are 39-2 when holding their opponent to 4 runs or less.

Thats why I've never understood the idea of ARod being dropped down in the order for their to be "less pressure" on him. Whether you bat 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or wherever, the weirdness of baseball will eventually find you when a big situation comes up.
You're right, some of actually have to follow the game in this thread cause we're at work and can't watch ...
Or are stuck with Gamecast which is hoplessly behind when they don't get it dead wrong....
