I broke yesterday's record--it's 91 in here.
Hmm....I don't think Wilson is a good matchup for Ichiro.
Anyway, no matter what happens, Ponson pitched extremely well. A bad first, then cheap hits and defense let him down.

He allowed 4 runs, and he has 2 runners left on, but he pitched pretty well, so it's nice to see an ovation.

It'd be cool if there was a "OoJ" stat - Out of Jams - for relievers. Only good for the first reliever, and there has to be men in scoring position. If the reliever gets out of it, he gets an OoJ and the SP gets the decision (W or L).

The Posada AB was key there. The Yanks don't seem to like to get the leadoff double home from second. He absolutely needed to at least move the guy up there.
Damon's k was ok, since he needed a hit and had a good ab- just got beat. A-rod was fine- good riding pitch on 0-1.

Go to the game and cheer like crazy no matter what he does.
When a "Lets go Red Sox" cheer starts up at the Stadium, it get's drowned out everytime. Same thing should happen when Alex is up....

FWIW, it didn't sound like a huge contingent was booing, but it was certainly enough to be heard. A rod may get up again in this game.
