Two so far.

Sierra Mist was referenced twice in another thread, once by me.

After his game-tying home run against the Twins in the 2004 ALDS and the 1-0 Walk-off against the Jays, what is everybody's favorite Ruben Sierra moment in pinstripes?

the triple against Florida in the '03 series...if only Aaron Boone had been able to get a fly ball to the outfield the Yanks would be shootin for 28 right now..

HR off of Ted Lilly in that 0-0 with El Duque? He was a great pinch hitter for us, though.. we just have no use for him on this team

More likely, 29.

Yeah, I actually did really like Big Rube in 2004, and he struck me as a good decent guy, who could hit for solid power.

He's totally valueless now, though, unfortunately.

This is Randy Johnson's fault.

he was good for us in 2004, and then became uterly worthless in 2005 in a hurry.

I'm sure he'll end up back with the Yankees in some capacity.

On the YES Network no doubt. I look forward to the Kay/Sierra nights.

Aw well. I guess his career as a player is all but over, hopefully if he wants he can become some sort of instructor with an organization. Good luck Ruben.

There is no doubt he will be wearing pinstripes within one week. Zero doubt. It is absolutely, 100% assured that he will be our new RF and we will trade Kevin Thompson and Jose Tabata for him. It is a fact, ordained by lightning in sacred stone by the gods. I don't know where I'm going with this.

i don't think tabata and kt will be enough for him. hughes, clippard, garcia and eric duncan would all have to be included
