Hopefully we wont have the same tonight.
Go Yanks. And go D'Rays I guess as I see they are playing well against the Red Sox.

Moose needs to go the distance tonight.I'm sure that this was posted in ITL, but :
Because of a groin injury suffered in his last start, Mike Mussina will wear a wrap on his right leg Wednesday.
The Yankees appear to be mildly concerned about the injury and manager Joe Torre indicated that he will yank Mussina if they sense he's struggling with it.

Well, how many team do you see lose by 18 runs? Remember, the Yanks lost 17-1 to the Red Sox twice last year. The Yanks usually have some memorable ass-kickings over the last couple years. Dont forget that 22-0 game in 2004.

Yes, the Yanks have a tendency to have their butts handed to them on a tray...but, the way ESPN was spinning it, they were making it like the franchise just self destructed. They completely and totally disregarded the fact that despite losing horribly last night, the Yanks did not lose ANY ground to the BoSox in the AL East.
Heck, the Yanks can lose a game 30294028702 to 1 for all I care...just as long as the Sox lose.

Boone making an argument for Marte'.
General manager Mark Shapiro reiterated Thursday that the Indians do not plan to call Andy Marte up soon.
Marte has been on fire at Triple-A this month, Aaron Boone is hitting .263 with three homers and the Indians desperately need help. "I'm excited that Andy has gotten it going," Shapiro said. "That might present a question at some point. But he's not coming up here unless we can find a place for him that can help us."

With the Yanks offense as of late, who's to say he's wrong? Consider the Yanks have been hitting .100 with RISP over the last 10 games (I'm taking out the Sunday game because its an aberration), there was no reason to believe the Yanks were going to take advantage of the situation presented to them this inning.
