Good job!!
From Peter Abrahams:
Jorge Posada (elbow) is fine. He had a nerve issue from being hit and couldn't grip the bat last night. He was grinning when he talked about Randy Johnson brushing back Eduardo Perez last night. The Unit and Jorge are best buds now. Can peace in the Middle East be far behind?
Here is the lineup (wow, same one two days in a row)
YANKEES
Johnny Damon CF
Melky Cabrera LF
Derek Jeter SS

No more than 5 games I believe.
Also, you are then comparing the 2nd place Phillies to the 2nd place Yanks from 05. The Phillies have ZERO pitching. At least the Indians, who were 15 games back had the pitching to make that up mixed in with a White Sox collapse. But this is not close in the NL East.

The fact is that unless it is actually LABELLED as an error, people will simply deny it. Hey, he's been great for years. The man was signed to be a 4th outfielder/ DH, I don't see how anyone can honestly tell themselves that he has done a good job in RF.

Don't think they have the pitching. A very strong #1, but also someone who can't pitch deep. Very, very little after that. Glavine is coming down to earth, and the staff simply isn't that deep.

The only team I can think of is Houston.
None of those teams in the NL West are good. And the WC isnt coming out of the NL East.
San Diego has the pitching for a playoff team. Just can't score any runs....

Cheered when he came to the plate. Silence when he went back to the dugout after the out.

Umm.....he's been a bit inconsistent this year, but was one of the league's better starters last year. Young and talented.

Ground out to 3rd for Arod too?
Yeah...but I'm guessing that A-Rod's ground out was actually TO 3rd whereas Giambi's was probably closer to 2nd!

Whichever team wins the West, and whoever wins the wild card. Mets are hot right now and as good as any team in the NL, but lots can happen in a short playoff series.
Only one in the clubhouse under par. It's tough out there.
Second hardest course I've ever played. Hardest was Kiawah Ocean in the wind. However, I played Winged Foot when there weren't any tournaments in the recent past or near future, so the rough was not that penal.

But easily fixable. Better to be short on hitting at the trade deadline than pitching.
Add a Carlos Lee or something and that team is dangerous. Peavy, Young, Williams and Park in that ballpark can shut some teams down. Including the almighty Mets.

Really don't like Sterling's calls. A ball in the gap, by a good play by play guy, is about as exciting as you can get a call. But Sterling pre-empts his call to schtick his high, far routine. Infuriating.t
