So let him throw in the bullpen. We have 3 more games against these guys, what happens if we need him for all three? Joe's so clueless...
There's nothing like throwing to batters, nothing can simulate that.

I don't know. I guess I'm the only one in here not upset about using Mo. It seems like it was probably something decided between Mo and Joe before the game even started that he wanted to pitch an inning tonight to make sure he is back in game shape.
I wasn't happy about Proctor but I'm not upset about Mo.

So by wasting him tonight...this means he could not be available in perhaps the 3rd game of this series (what if we need him for 2 innings tomm??) or the 4th game (if we have to use him in Game 2 and 3)
so by wasting him tonight, you potentially make him unavailable later in this series...perhaps in a situation where we NEED him and it could cost us a win.

I think they were wrong-he was having a lot of trouble getting over his breaking balls so they could sit on fastballs. Of course the Yanks hit it, but Beckett certainly didn't have his best stuff or anything near it tonight. That being said..oh well. :D
