This game is rather boring now. All those hours of getting pumped up for the game and the come down is quite depressing.

ESPN commentator is wrong, as of right Moose does NOT have a shot at the HOF.

Think of it like this, if you are gonna lose a QS streak you might as well do it in a game were you are up 13-5.
Please can we use sh*tty relievers with a big lead?

A couple of runs for the Sox. Not Moose's greatest start but I'm not going to bash him for getting a little beat up in a game where has had to sit through two very, very long innings. Decent job by him.
ZYanksRule
06-05-06, 08:42 PM
Thanks Moose. It wasn't great, but it's definetely good enough
Ok, Joe. Calm yourself a bit, and allow Matt Smith to throw at least one inning, if not two. You have a FULL pen behind him, if the score should creep closer. But don't go to them now- please try to save the pen in a game you have a HUGE lead in.

No, because then in no time it might not be a big lead anymore.

honestly im not comfortable even with this lead. our crappy releivers dont belong in the majors. theyre that bad. you almost have to eventually end up using at least a villone.

This could get ugly/dangerous with Tavarez here. A small flame is flickering...Tavarez possesses the gas and blowtorch.

Erickson, Villone, Smith are the 3 guys you could throw right now.
The reasoning, I think, for Proctor is he has been struggling so much, Joe wants to try to give him an inning to see if he can right himself.

Why would we be joking about that? While it's unlikely that the Sox will come back from eight runs down at this point, it's far from impossible. The more runs we score, the lower their chances of A. Coming back B. Coming back enough to the point that we have to use Mo.

Tavarez makes quick work of Cairo.
I'm shaking my head at Cairo.
typical Tavares .... lights out in blowouts ....... and horrible in close games
