Eh... I'd say he hasn't been a good hitter from the left side so far this year. During the past 3-4 seasons, he's actually been better from the left side (by just a bit).

This isn't the last 3-4 seasons. This is this season.

What's he been saying?

It's the announcers more than Robertson, really. He's just cheering on his team and shoving his mouth full of Big League Chew every time they need a rally. So I hope the Yankees smash him around to spite the announcers. :)

By the way, this is exactly why you bring in your closer for 2 innings in tie games on the road in the 9th and 10th. That's the most important time to use Mo. Not wait until after we score runs when we can still afford to give up some runs.

This isn't the last 3-4 seasons. This is this season.
I realize that.

But I don't think I'd go so far as to say that Bernie (who is a notoriously slow starter anyway) is "not a good hitter" from the left side this far into the season, when his stats show that he is generally a bit better from the left side.

And certainly not with the definitive air that some bandy about.

True. Torre might not have used Mo tomorrow anyways after thowing 2 innings. I bet he probably still could have gone with only throwing 16 pitches though.

Assuming both Farnsworth and Mo are not available tomorrow, we're going to have quite the bullpen. Here's to Moose pitching a complete game tomorrow.
