Okay, I do remember that one. Maybe that was it, but I thought it was more recent than that.
Can't blame Small for this inning. Yeah, he gave up a few hits, but really only one run is his fault. I will take 2 runs in 5 innings from him. Jeter really killed him.

Disagree. You can't ask Small to get 5 outs in an inning. Especially with the meat of their lineup. If Jeter doesn't rush that play, Small gives up one run at most.

The fact that only one of our starters can consistently pitch into the 7th inning is going to bite us in the ass. Perhaps today, perhaps later. But way too many 5 and 6 inning starts.
