Ryan Howard hit a long fly ball in the spring against him. He paused at home plate, but replays pretty clearly show him searching for the location of the ball. Anyway, beckett assumed he was styling, and shouts at him to make sure it's gone and that it is bush to style like that. Caused a mini-brawl.

Hate to say it....but Farnsworth didn't have great location with that pitch. it worked because he throws so darn hard and you need to protect against a 98 mph fastball... and with 2 strikes you absolutely cannot look for that pitch....
So maybe it wasn't so bad :) But the location was up a bit.
