What a horrible offensive performance. 10 hits, seven walks, 2 HBP, and a WP, and yet only three runs. Disgusting.
I defend him often...but there's simply NO way people can justify the fact he does the absolute worst thing in way too many spots....K or DP- whichever is worse, he seems to find it. Needs to change his mental approach- there's absolutely no doubt.
And, quite frankly, you can't defend him in those spots. Sad, but true.
I guess he's padding his GIDP stats...

I think A-Rod puts too much presure on himself already, I don't know how pulling him out of the game is the correct message. However it was the correct move in case the pitchers spot comes up this half inning
We all have to think this out a bit mroe logically. People are goign to go ballistic because we had the bases loaded with no outs but let's be real here. We loaded the bases on a walk, a swinging bunt, and a pop up bunt. Not one ball was hit hard that inning.

with half our team, we played a very good Mets team tooth and nail for all 3 games.
We showed alot of heart this weekend, even though we lost 2/3, I'm very impressed with how we did this weekend.

Too many runners left stranded to think they should have won this game. No big hits tonight is the story of this game. At least the bottom guys of the bullpen pitched well and the top end of the bullpen had a day off going into Boston.
