I don't understand why Melky is in left and Bernie is in right, as Melky has less experience and the sun will mess with him, and Bernie has a worse arm, but hopefully it won't be a big deal.

Actually not that much since Kluivert did not make the team for Holland due to various injuries:(.
But honestly though I will probably still root for Holland and the U.S over Sweden anyway, just dont like a lot of the players that is on our team.
How about you? Think the U.S can do some damage?

The double was a pop fly that landed on the foul line, he never really did anything to get into it. Its good to see him deal with the adversity though

I agree, they impressed me last World Cup and with players like Reyna, Donovan and DaMarcus the talent is there.
Well cant blame you for rooting for Brazil, their football is just to beautiful not to root for.

Seeing as how his OPS was over 1.300 for the first 30 games or so....a cool down was inevitable.

Just means other guys need to pick up the slack.

I'm glad to see him making some adjustments. He was getting beat alot this year by inside fastballs....the last week or so he is looking for them and is now turning on them...instead of getting jammed.

Yeah, I agree. He would be behind fastballs and frozen by breaking balls. A slump, pretty much, and inside and high fastballs were destroying him

Honestly, if Sheff can't swing for power immediatly upon his return, a position lower than fifth might be right for him.

Ohhhhh yeah...I know some have said Matsui back for playoffs but IMO we'll be seeing him 2007. I'm not a doctor but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
