View Full Version : Yankees Vs. A's game 2

he hasn't been as bad overall as people get on him for.
he has had some good starts when he actually pitches
and this better be his only batter, but i bet joe runs him out there again
He pitched well today, but this A's lineup is pretty pathetic. Their 5-9 hitters are each batting under .250.

How many more at bats do we need Phillips to have before we can say he can't hit big league pitching?

Huston Street K's Andy Phillips. 2 down.

If he had landed on the top step of the dugout, I'd understand. It was just a sloppy fall near first base. I'm sure your injury was tough, I'm just saying it didn't look like he did anything that would have caused such a lengthy rehab.
His back has been unstable since s/t of 05. He was only forthcoming about the pain this year, which was stupid as hell for him to do. Hopefully with enough work stablilizing it, he can stay healthy and pitch well for us

Man, having gout sucks :(
Smart idea Sam, but then who the heck is gonna bail us out tomorrow when Sturtze gives up 3 or 4 runs?
We'll trade for Stanton. He had a belly full of guts.

I beleive he can play the entire infield

Cairo´s primary position is 2nd base.
I was joking. Especially with the displeasure about Cairo being at first Thursday.

Hey, Tony did hit some big homeruns. In fact, all he seemed to do was homer or strike out.
