As long as Bernie is batting Righty, i don't have a huge problem with him battin 6th. Especially considering not having Sheff or Posada in there today. I would NOT bat Stinnett or Phillips before Bernie. And Joe is going to hit a right-handed bernie in front of Cano against a left-hander.

I don't expect it to happen now since Sheffield is out, but when he comes back, Torre has to juggle the 3-6 spots in the lineup. Maybe that will get A-Rod and Matsui going. It also wouldn't hurt if Matsui got a day off, but unfortunately his streak means a lot to him.

Wright, who has made just two starts this season, flew ahead to Tampa on Tuesday. In his last start, Wright allowed four runs in five innings, showing a little more consistency than he had in his first two appearances of the season.
... [Torre said] "[Wright] pitched well last time, so I want to see two starts in a row, see if we can get something going with him."
Chacon's next start will come on Saturday in Texas, as the Yankees didn't want to push Randy Johnson and Mike Mussina, who are scheduled to start Thursday and Friday, back beyond their regular five-day schedule.
"We don't want to mess with Randy and Moose," Torre said. "Later in the year, when the extra day may have helped, it probably would have been easier to work it. Right now, Moose had his throw day today, which sets him up to pitch on the fifth day."

I don't understand this lineup either. You would think with Wright starting, we'd want as much offense as possible, so why is Stinnett catching?
And Bernie should never be batting 6th at this point of his career, let alone playing RF.
I can't tell you guys how cool it would be for Wright to become an effective starter for us. Ever since 1997, I thought he had some great stuff.

Actually thats not true for MLB.tv. It changes based on contracts. Also, when one feed fills up, MLB.tv will take the excess subscribers and drop them into another. So for any popular games, if you sign in about 3/4 of the way into a game, you'll get a different feed.
Lately, MLB.tv has started using radio commentary with TV feeds, which is quite annoying because of the lack of a status bar.

What a facade Beckett had up for the first few starts of his. He's a talented young arm, yeah, but he really is just so uncontrolled and raw.
I think it was BBtB who said, "Do something with your career," in the best young pitcher thread last year.
