We score a run here. Get on base Damon.
Your wish is his command

DAMNIT! That would have been a triple if it didn't bounce over.

JOHNNY DAMON, Lead Off Double!!!!!!!!!!
Double for Damon.
Start warming up Mr. Rivera.
JD with a HUGE leadoff double. Saves Jeter from bunting (I really hope, at least). Three shots to push him home, or more.....

Attaboy Johnny!
you, i was just thinking, 2-0 count, he's gotta be taking here to work it and get on
but can't argue with the results there

Mmmmmm. Spinach lasagna.
Thanks a lot.... I'm starving and all I have is a lousy jar of pickles. I'm trying real hard not to give in to the temptation to order a pizza.

Groundball to the rightside...for a base hit to rightfield Derek.

you, lately, on mlb.tv they've been dubbing the radio call over the video (tonight it's just all yes)..
but from listening to the radio a lot at home or out, it's interesting to see the video of a lot of sterling's excitable "hit in the air to deep..." and see them be routine-ish flyballs
Im on mlb.tv but I have FSN Florida :(
I know of Sterling's fly ball tendancies, but since there wasnt one hit there, I couldnt figure out what got messed up.
2-0, bunt still on u think?
I look at Sterling sort of like a crazy uncle that every family has. He drives you nuts, but you love him and you're not sure why.
You guys are spoiled. Sterling is awesome when compared to almost evey other announcer

Still happy... Hmmm, should Jeter bunt? Statistically, if we are trying to just get 1 run here, he should...

Don't use DJ to bunt. Use him to get a base hit or a slow groundball to the rightside.

Why bunt? Three chances to score on a basehit.

05-03-06, 09:00 PM
clutch bunting makes me nervous
Just dumb to bunt. Jeter can hit the ball the the right side in his sleep.....Let him try to do that, and maybe he gets a base hit. Terrible, terrible idea to lay one down. Giving up an out, not gaining a ton.
dabomb2045
05-03-06, 09:00 PM
Please dont bunt Derek

Right now I'd take off the bunt. Jeter can go the other way very well.

yea, it's wierd, i've had days where it loads with one station, then if i reload later on, it'll go to the other team's station
maybe try reloading it and see what happens
i HATE the devil rays station/announcers

If you would listen to Sterling every game for a month you would change your opinion.
just need a single jason...
let's see if these are the powered yanks, or the winning baseball yanks
Giambi will walk. A-Rod will hit a grand slam.
