On today's show both Dan and Keith were alluding to a somewhat deminished mental capacity of George Steinbrenner. They say he is being protected from the media by Stadium security as he is entering & leaving YANKEE Stadium. Does anyone know anything about this? This is the first I have heard of it.

At the announcement for the new stadium he didn't seem very with it, and that was a while ago. I wouldn't doubt he was finally loosing it.

I have my work pc set to google searches everyday for Yankees and I did read something yesterday alluding to that. After reading the article, it basically seemed like he has lost his patience with reporters and the like.............I'll see if I can find it and attach part of it for you to read.

WTF? He was interviewd a few times in spring training and seemed fine.
