Chien-Ming Wang is a groundball specialist.
He has a lot of poise, throws quality strikes, and he can field too. His GB/FB ratio of 3.08 is one of the best last season.

This is a different Danny Haren in his last 24 starts as an Oakland Athletic where he went 13-5 with a 3.33 ERA. He was 1-7 in his first 8 starts, but that was mainly due to the lack of offense the A's had in the beginning of last season.

Three things have made me mad today:
1: Waking up to see that Joe Torre completely blew a winnable game.

3: The fact the Josh Beckett is pitching a 1-run game against Texas in Texas.

Hello everyone. I asked this last night with no response so I will try again. What makes Harden a good pitcher? Is it just the fastball or the breaking stuff or what? Thanks in advance. GO Yankees.
As his name suggests, Harden throws hard. His fastball clocks near 94 MPH as the game begins, but he is one of those hurlers who gains velocity and later brings it at 97 MPH. With Harden mixing in a slider and a changeup, hitters find themselves overpowered, chasing the hard slider in the dirt or climbing the ladder for the fastball.

With Haren's location, will Sheff GIDP?
More likely he'll K. I don't remember ever seeing Sheff swing at so many bad pitches in back to back games.

He balked.
Sheff batting third is a big mistake, he has grounded into way more DPs than A-rod or Giambi

It seems like he was just up there swinging at anything and he got lucky and one was thrown over the plate.
