I saw the multiple full page ads in yesterdays post for them. Nice looking, I like the solid blacks. How many Jumpman sponsored athletes are there? Last I heard the number was something like 5.

Why are these things basketball shoes? Don't they know that DJ is a baseball player?

I'm still trying to figure out whether they were basketball shoes or training shoes. An ad ran in Thursday's Post about this, and it stated that this was a training shoe. Other accounts have basketball shoe. Doesn't Jeter play baseball?

Not bad, I've owned two pairs of Jeter shoes. The 6-4-3s I've worn out to hell and right now I'm wearing Jumpman Jets. These look pretty sweet.

It's a trainer, the other articles say "basketball shoe" because it's a Jordan shoe and they don't know any better. I hope this reply helped you a little bit. :D

When I worked at Champs Sports, a Nike rep brought in a prototype of some midtop 6-4-3 (the prototype was never released) with that glove logo. It was to represent him winning his first Gold Glove.

Note: These are not basketball shoes, they're just pigeonholed into that description because Jordan brand distributes them.

I'd also like to apologize to my mom for any time I asked for sneakers that cost more than $30.

The Jeter sneakers are for baseball training or for turf play. The Six4Three is the same model Jeter uses in game except without spikes.

I actually think these (http://www.sneakerhead.com/313312-101.html) are pretty sharp.
