You know those parts of movies that just creep the s**t out of you. It might not even be a "horror" movie.
I know there's plenty, but I can't think of any right now besides the part in John Carpenter's The Thing when they have the defribulator.
Also, the last shot in The Shining...frozen Jack staring at the camera. ::shudders::

i guess you can call it a SPOLIER because the movie is still out so CAUTION if you still want to see THE HILLS HAVE EYES!
But there are just so many creepy crazy parts in this movie. My favorite... when one of the civilians runs into the house and sees one of the "mutants" in a wheelchair. I think the guy had elephantitis of the neck, face, chest etc... pretty sick stuff.

I have to agree with you on this one. Honourable mentions go to the girl climbing out of the TV in the Ring, and four or five scenes from the Shining.

How about the last scene from Psycho where they just have the camera come down the hallway to where Norman Bates is in a cell, wrapped in a blanket, speaking (in his head) in his mother's voice, saying ".... why, they'll see.... I wouldn't hurt a fly"...

The scene in Re-Animator where the disembodied head actually gives head. That has to be the creepiest and funniest thing I've ever seen.
The chestbuster scene in Alien.

I can't watch the Fly. I will vomit. I don't do bugs well, much less mutated Jeff Goldblum as a bug.
Candyman was a freaky movie. I still won't try doing that in the mirror.
Anybody ever seen that real old horror movie "Carnival of Souls".

I know that the line has been totally played out over the years and because of the new movie, but at the time during the first movie, that line made the hair stand up on the back of my neck. No movie, to this day, has ever creeped me out as much as that one.

That was the Cronenberg remake, an excellent film that had a bunch of creepy moments. I was thinking of the original, where the fly with a human head gets trapped in a spider web, screaming heeelp meeee...heeeeelp meeeee, as the spider approaches for it's meal.

The power drill scene in Body Double.
Oh man... I can't believe there is someone else that's actually seen Body Double, lol.
For me one of the creepiest scenes was in Stephen King's It when the kid is looking through his dead brothers photo album and the portrait shot of his little brother winks at him. And the scene where the girl, as an adult, is having tea with the old lady in her childhood house.
As for the Blair Witch Project, for me anyways, the scariest part was that I actually paid the 8 bucks for admission.

I think I've told this story before, but I saw it in NYC at the Angelica before it was in wide release. I hadn't heard anything about it except the rumor that it was "real" footage found. The theatre had the film canisters and other stuff from the shoot. Anyway, they got us. We all thought that it was actually real. That made it extremely scary. I don't ever remember being scared to look at a blank screen.
I watched it on DVD and it just stunk.

There are only two movies that have ever freaked me out.
1) THis was already mentioned, but in the beginning of Twilight Zone: THe Movie, when Dan Ackryrod changes into that freaking thing, that just bugs me out.
2) Various scenes from The ORIGINAL Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Like when the chick freaks out when they open the cooler door and she's in there, and she comes out all flailing and screaming.. The second is when Grandpa starts sucking on the one girls finger. He's just dang freaky. Or when he tries to bash her head in and just keeps dropping the hammer.
He is the best killer there ever was, even if he can't hold the hammer anymore :)
Other than these two things, I could watch horror movies in a graveyard ,alone, at the witching hour and not be creeped out.

I'm always creeped out by horror movies (or tv shows) with dolls. Remember that "Trilogy of Terror" movie (I think it was a made-for-tv movie)? When the doll the women bought in Africa comes to life and starts chasing her around the house with a knife? She tries to drown it in the bathtub, then she ends up thowing it in the oven.
There was also that old Twilight Zone episode with Telly Savalas about the "Talkie Tina" doll -
"My name is Talkie Tina, and I'm going to KILLLL YOOOOOU!"

OMG, Freaks was amazing!!! -- That guy with no legs who walked on his hands, and the guy with no arms or legs who rolled the cigarette and lit it?? What was so frightening about that movie is that these were real circus freaks of that time (I think it was made in 1932).

Well, my top two are taken. The last scene in Blair Witch and the sidewalk scene in American History X.
But I don't think this one was mentioned yet....
Anyone seen "the Changeling"? The scene with the ghost of the handicap kid floating in the bathtub. That eff'd me up beyond belief after I saw it.
Also, the scene in "The Ring" where Samara walks out of the TV. That was very freaky. Actually, the movie itself scared me a little. Which is why I think it's a pretty good movie. Not many do. The worst part is after i watched the DVD, they have the short film as an option to watch it. I considered it, then I quickly shut it off.

I don't remember who exactly told me, but I heard about her coming out of the TV before seeing it so I was expecting that. The creepiest thing in that movie for me was when they showed what happened to the girl in the beginning. When the mother "found" her in the closet. That was such a creepy looking corpse.

Movies about psychotic children freak me out. That's why most of the scenes that scare me have to do with them. The handprints on the wall in Blair Witch is what freaked me out most about the last scene.

I just had a dream last night.. It reminded me of that old Horror Flick Basketcase... anyone remember that? These 2 siamese twins are born one fully grown and another... just kind of a lump on this other guys side.. anyways they get seperated but now the lump lives in a basket during the day and crawls out at night to EAT people! Sick stuff... If I saw it now I bet would just be a really weird laughable movie but when your 8 it was pretty damn creepy.
Basket Case was one funny movie.

That one was hilarious, although it owed a lot to the Evil Dead series. It also didn't hurt that Peter Jackson directed it.

I've never seen Evil Dead. I can't watch real zombie movies. I think he's gotten alot better since directing that POS though.

I was talking about Peter Jackson getting better from Dead Alive to LOTR.
