Not on XM or Directv, so I'm out.
According to MLB Scoreboard, F. Escalona hit a HR.

Who's pitching for the Yanks?

Moose started. Either tired in the 4th or only pitched 3 innings. Hughes should be pitching today

I think someone actually stated he has been re-assigned to minor league camp. Were he there though, I would imagine he is scheduled.

Yanks get a run back. 3-2 CIN.

I think Hughes being sent down was just speculation on the boards.

JB Cox just pitched a scoreless 5th. No idea who pitched the 4th. Where was the Hughes thing reported here?
It was in yesterday's thread, when I was asking if Hughes might pitch tomorrow's game on TV and someone posted and said he'd been sent across to minor-league camp.

Yeah i just found the post. Hughes is still listed on the non-roster page on yankees.com, so i'm guessing its made up.
Yeah i just found the post. Hughes is still listed on the non-roster page on yankees.com, so i'm guessing its made up.Yeah, I noticed that. I'm also assuming that they don't send players across one by one, but rather wait a bit and do it in a bunch. I haven't heard of anyone else being transferred, so it's rather odd that they'd just sent Hughes over.
Let's just all hope that it wasn't Phil who gave up the runs.

Sigh. Let's hope he pitches well.

He gave up a run, on only 1 or 2 hits too. Yankees have an error also so who knows

Looks like Hughes gave up a run in the 6th
Wonder if he'll go two innings
Nah, that error was already there. Man.
He sucks. Always giving up runs. They should just release him. We should've taken Gio with this pick instead. At least Gio is left-handed.

gdn you're pulling a jdpnyy lately ;) I'm doing the negativity, so the real negative people don't have to. That way, we can all laugh.
But I'm serious. What kind of name is Hughes anyway? Definitely not 1st round pick material. Now Parrish. There's a name.
Speaking of which, I haven't seen enterthesandman around...
CIN leads 4-2, end of 6.

Hughes started the inning with a walk to LaRue. Got no info after that - not sure if Hughes finished the 7th

Yankees tied it 4-4 mid 8th
US 4-0 after the top of the first
Jeter and Griffey singled, and both scored when ARod launched a double into the right field gap
Then Derrick Lee launched a homer the opposite way - 4-0
Maybe the US bats is warming up

Hughes with a balk and some issues. I'm not surprised though. Rudy Guillen with the game tying double in the 8th. He also has the error the causes the loss in the 9th

Not so bad, could have been far worse. 2 innings and one run is certainly not terrible in spring training, I also liked the fact that he struck two out :) .
