Jeter was above average according to Baseball Prospectus for the first time in his career. Other than that, he is 140 runs below.

Which really demonstrates how fantastic his O is. I'm not saying this to ameliorate our view of Jeter's defense (since anyone who posts on this site knows that I think very poorly of it) but that he can be 140 runs below average defensively, and still be 11 Wins Above Average total, including 76 wins above replacement, including two MVP caliber (>10 WARP3) seasons, and three more strong allstar caliber (>7.5 WARP3) seasons, along with three more good, solid seasons (>6.5 WARP3) season in his 10 year career, is pretty incredible.
