News from the land of mediocre tv. But I wonder what will become of free TV Yankee and Mets games since they will form one network

This is a step down for UPN. WB was created by the devil.

I just heard about this on the WGN news. Quite interesting, but one of the anchors posed an interesting question; what happens to the programming on regional affiliates?

I'm betting the UPN station stays a syndicated network and goes back to what it was in the '80's. They'll probably fill up programming with movies and probably syndicated comedies that normally run pre-primetime.

If it's extra cable channels, then I want YES, damn it.
As long as Smallville is still on somewhere, I don't care.

Can't wait till they merge the casts of Girlfriends and Smallville and call it Smallfriends!
Will Kristen Kruek be practicing on bugging her eyes out, working her neck and shaking her finger while saying, "Oh no you didn't" ?

No you wouldn't. Other than their game broadcast, everything else gets pretty boring, fast.

I had it the first year. The yankeeographies made for some damn good television.

they show like the same 10 games on Yankees Classics all the time. You would think would be able to give us something different.
Plus, they have 5 hours of Mike and the Mad Dog every weekday....which just ruins everything.

This thread title reminds me of an old Robin Williams joke about small-chested women. Put the two of them together to make one good one.
