ok. i have an xbox... just the regular old xbox. and im pissed that there is no 2006 mvp baseball game. i had 2005 for ps2, but sold all my ps2 stuff. i've heard about xbox live and updating rosters for mvp 2005. how does that work?

is xbox live a separate console from xbox, or is it a connection i can get for my current xbox, or is it already on there and i dont even know about it?

does the xbox have to be connected to a high speed hookup or something?

is it worth it? are the updates good enough in the game to go through the trouble of setting it up?

Or would i just be better off buying the 2k sports one that jeter endorses or the new one, The Show, i think its called

Xbox Live can be accessed through your machine using a high speed internet connection. There is a port in the back to plug in the network cable into. The service costs $5.99/mo or $49 for the year.

I do not own MVP, but from a discussion on another thread, I believe MVP will only update for whatever changes have happened to the end of 2005. I don't think they will update this year, but not sure.

It may be less hassle to buy the new game.
