I'm putting my money on astronaut Dan. Looks like Tom with more brains.

on edit: and Terry and Bruce also look good. I think the over-40 guys will have a mental and athletic advantage over the younger kids.

Apparently after 11 seasons, nothing can take it down in the ratings.

I don't watch it, so I didn't know if it was still on or not. I'm surprised it's lasted this long.

Wait, this show is still on the air?

It usually a top ten or top 5 show every week it airs. The ratings have settled in and they are nowhere near the first or second season ones, but they are still very strong. They have resigned the show for at least 2-3 more seasons, I believe.

Survivor is a great show.

This will be the third time Survivor will be in the Panama area.

Now, we get an entirely new cast. Bobby Jon and Stephenie had their moment in the sun twice.

He should. Even if his story was true, he still should have just paid out the money before all this and/or taken the plea and sued CBS later. Don't mess with the IRS.

South Central L.A. or the LBC would be way more intriguing. Reward challenges for semi-automatics would be fun to watch. There would be no need for tribal councils either.

I think we should all pick our favorite to win this season now, so someone will have the right to gloat at the end of the season.

Let's seee I pick:

Shane (cause it sounds alot like my last name.)

I said Dan earlier in this thread, but I think I'm switching to Terry. It'll definately be an over-40 Alpha male though. They have never had men over 40 and this strong in the game (except for Tom last season and looked what happened)

Week 1 - InGame Play By Play 1st Period

Crowd filing inside the Reality TV Arena...Watch out for pyro.

Here we go. Your Survivor andrealine rush is next.

Exile Island sounds very ghost-like.

A die-hard Survivor fan in the front row: I'm rooting for Sally and Bruce.

4 tribes!

A situation we all know won't last long...

Whoa! Whatshername is about to explode out of her top (girl in green shirt).

Oh man. Here we go. a shot of some woman's boobs. Crowd chants: holy sh*t!

A Terry fan in the skybox wired for sound: I have an instant dislike for Shane, and I don't even know why.

Someone has silicone x-mas presents.

People already complaining about their tribes.

 Golden Girls and Spice Girls!

Beefcake, Love Boat, Golden Girls, Spice Girls :roflmao: Crowd chants: WHAT?!

Younger beefcake crowd  Now that's a crowd I like :D.

I don't see the 4 tribes lasting long. What are they going to do when one team is down to 1?

Bobby "the Brain" Heenan: Cannibalism? Ouch!

5 minutes in. They gotta be desperate for a reward right about now.

Another Survivor fan outside the Reality TV Arena: Smashing skulls? Ew.

Smashing skulls is their first reward challenge. To win flint.

Cut throat right away, I like that. Crowd chanting: This is awesome.

This is almost as mean as the high school pick 'em a couple seasons back.

A Danni fan in the front row watching this season: I hate Ruth-Marie's pigtails.

Ruth Marie, Terry, Danielle & Austin are in the challenge.

Hopefully, they are not real skulls

I'm sure they aren't.

I think they're from all the first evictees from previous seasons. :roflmao:

Beefcake boy stumbled.... awww, if they lose he'll probably be gone. They always get rid of the eye candy fast....

Ok so we know Ruth Marie is SLOW

"She's not a smasher"

What's the distinguishing feature of a smasher?

A Survivor fan in the lower bowl seats: Who is the trampy blonde old lady?

Another fan: C'mon now, she's quite a bit younger than me.

I think that's the lumberjack that was supposed to be on Guatamala, but her son died just before she was supposed to go.

A young Survivor fan: I have a feeling the older guys are gonna kick butt this season!

Terry wins, Austin is second, Ruth Marie is third.

The Spice Girls lose out.

Fire already?

One unhatched chick goes to sleep in the big scary skull

A Stephenie fan watching this season from the upper deck: Make Danielle stay. She lost the challenge for you.

Young girls aren't bitching enough? What's this with them playing fair with each other?

Danielle of the large chest volunteers to go to Exile Island. But they decide to do rock-paper-scissors. Buh-bye Misty.

Wonder if the rocket scientist and the astronaut will get together ;)

Wow, I wonder if that will put Misty at a bad disadvantage?

A Morgan fan watching this season from the luxury box seats: This will take me time to figure out who is who...so who is the "spice girl" flopping out of her shirt.

A Survivor insider in press row: This is the dumb idea that was suggested last season.

Wow. Immunity AFTER being voted out?

Wow. What we all wished for last year. Crowd chanting: WHAT WAS THAT?!

So there's an immunity idol hidden on Exile Island. I wonder how many of them will be looking for it on the ground, where that meathead Judd said it was in last season's Survivor!

Cool! Idol can be held until AFTER votes are tallied!

Aha! After this reveal, nobody, but nobody will ever tell if they have the idol... unless they really, really want to backdoor somebody (to use a BB term ).

Jiffy breaks out the maps and everyone heads out to thier islands. Except Misty. Hee. All she gets is a machete and water.

So will there only be one hidden idol? If Misty finds it tonight nobody else can? Or will they replace it once it's used?

So are they going to let the person on Exile Island die of thirst if he/she doesn't have fire? I doubt that very much.

The weather seems a bit balmy and nice on Exile Island. We know it can be viscous in Panama occasionally, but I think they chose a nice calm time of year this time.

24 hours with no water? Not great. But not killing--at least at the beginning of the game.

Leaving her with a barrel of bad water without fire is kinda like turning on the windshield wipers when someone has to pee. I wonder if she can make sparks from those broken stones?

wow! they are really throwing in some new twists this time...
but wouldn't it seem like the last person standing may be the least deserving, because if someone uses the immunity idol the person with the next most votes goes home. That means you have to try to stay out of the "last 2 spots" on the chopping order.

I think Cirie is going home soon, b/c the cameras kept cutting to her reactions

Disco inferno? They are not that old...

BroadwayBomber55

Week 1 - InGame Play By Play 2nd Period

Other than maybe being thirsty, why would she bother? It looks quite toasty there, what with her dangling her feet in the warm water.

This will be one Survivor with VERY little Survival focus I think, even of Exile Island. It's only one day (although that will sting more once they are hungry, assuming they don't top load these idiots with food rewards).

A Tom Wesson fan in the front row: Yay older women! They are doing great so far this episode. :)

And the Golden Girls have fire!

cirie is scared by "crawly things"???? um ... what did she expect to see on survivor?? or did she think she was going on big brother?

Fluffy is singing "Disco Inferno!"

Its like Wanda meets Fargo...

Ok the blonde "older woman" talks WAY too much for me.

This Tammy Wynette chick's annoying, huh??

Tina's going to kick ass at this. Cirie, quit being such a baby!

Beware the leaves!

Blurry crack alert!

Yellow shirt chick is already hilarious... boy is she going to be in trouble sleeping outside.

"Did anyone tell her what show she was going on?"

A Die-hard Survivor fan in the Reality TV Bar:
Ah, we have our badly tressed Alpha Older Female and our Stealth Sneaky Sit Back and Wait Older Female.

Then... the younger men. Who immediately seem to be shown as a bunch of boneheads.

one thing about only having 4 people on a tribe, there's not going to be a lot of half the tribe doing a lot of work and the other half not.

Young men are goofing off. Surprise, surprise.

What's New Age dude doing?

Aras is weirding me out.

Yoga boy is cute. Too bad he's going to be voted out at the first opportunity after this display.

Align your damn chakra and light the fire already.

The young guys aren't very bright. There's a surprise.

Young men are beaning each other on the head with poles and falling over in the sand. OFf to a great start. Crowd chants: holy sh*t!

WTH is a "Fire Dancer"?

Younger guys can't start a fire or build a shelter. Crowd chants: OMG!

Young Idiots say:

"Is there something we are missing? Some component necessary for fire building (or shelter, or ANYTHING)"

Try brains.

And frankly? They seem pretty metrosexual too, as a group.

The three Valley Girls are hilarious!

The younger people seem a bit useless.

And the young girls are indecisive with no leadership.

Another Suvivor insider in press row: YOunger women living up to their stereotype as well.

"Are you feeling it" The "spice girls" are going to have so many problems, heck they don't even have a clue between the 3 of them.

WHAT in the HECK is a firedancer?!?!?!

And, yes, maybe she would look good in purple.... (whatever...)

A Lydia fan in the upperdeck: Courtney is a wack-a-doodle, isn't she?

Hate.

I bet it tastes like chicken.

So will the Spice Girls build their shelter on Dead Turtle Beach, or will they keep looking?

Yikes!! Courtney is burnt to a crisp already. :jaw-drop: Oh my everyone's jaw dropped to the floor.

I feel bad for the turtle, too, but cmon. Build your shelter.

Is this Club Med? Looks that way with the bikinis.

Courtney and Aras are both loopy as hell. They should get along.

Yup, lots of New Age bimbos already :)

I love the way Bobby named everyone's groups!

and the younger team are definately Spice Girl-like!

Don't put the dead turtle back in the ocean! It died on land, so give it a proper funeral on land .

Woohoo! Go older men. The older teams are off to a roaring start.

Samurai Bruce looks pretty handy with the machete. Old guys have fire.

Here we go again, with the guys on a reality show talking about their wood!!! Crowd chants: WHAT?!

Let the alliances begin with the older men.

Astroboy and Top Gun are bonding.

um... Astroboy and Soldierboy really don't have compelling secrets that would harm them in the game.

The Old Guyz meet the stereotype too. They cast non-dumb non-pretty boys to preserve the Gary/Tom-ness of the grouping.

Hee. Astronaut or Astronut?

Pssst. Hey. I don't know you but, hey, listen I'll never lie to you. Never. Pinky swear!!!

Shane is living up to our expectations. In a bad way.

I'm loving these older guys...except dumbass Shane! Shane turning heel right away, IMO.

that's pretty much how they've all started ... it's just more obvious because they're on their own now.

i wasn't sure i'd like this "new" format, but i am now .... it certainly shows who's pulling their weight and who isn't already.

Shane's fried... in a day.

Shane's having nicotine withdrawal.

Okay, Shane is there to counterbalance the Tom/Gary vibe of the old guys. What a waste of protoplasm. With a stupid hat too.

All the evolutionary mistakes seem to be fond of stupid hats.

Well, someone is not going to make it for 39 days without a cigarette :)

Maybe one of the rewards will be a pack of smokes for Joe Camel. :smokin:

Shane's having a nicotine fit.

Is it just me, or does Shane not look too bad...

nahhh... it's just me going through withdrawls! hahaha!

Crest Whitestrips: Trying to confuse between the Younger Women Tribe and The Older Women Tribe with their crappy commercials. No doubt Crest Whitestrips will show up on the show at some point.

I have to say, if he smoked three packs a day, he's in for a BAD week or two.

Another Survivor fan in the media gondola: See? I knew I wouldn't be able to stand Shane. And NOW I have a reason!

I loved the "LumberJill" comment above.

Stupid Courtney. With her Counting-Crows hairdo. I don't want to see dead turtles, and wish they hadn't died, but drawing hearts around them in the sand, and talking of her Native American background? I have a small percentage of Native American, and don't claim to know what EVERY tribe does, but somehow the "traditional" grade-school symbol for heart doesn't come to mind.

Another Survivor fan in the skybox: i was just checking out profiles on the cbs website ... god i feel old ... the "older" women are younger than me!

BroadwayBomber55
02-02-06, 07:43 PM
Week 1 - InGame Play By Play 3rd Period

Well, at least it should be interesting: Team Slacker, 3rd degree burns, and a smoke addict about to go into "Here's Johnny!" mode.

Oh good, 1st night on the island and it rains

She wasn't wet. It didn't rain. That was via the magic of deliberately misleading stock footage and editing.

Another season of the Unprepared! Cirie doesn't like creepy crawlies and Shane is a chain smoker. The young men can't make fire even with flint. The younger women are wandering aimlessly secretly hoping to come across a luxury hut and some cabana boys. Only the older men seem to have a clue on what it takes to physically survive. Once again they apply to the show expecting only to have to play the mental and emotional part of the game.

Cripes! Snakes, thunder, rain and a full moon and she's eating worms.... And all on the first day. Crowd chants: holy sh*t!

Dramatic music does very little to convince us that the night on Exile Island was that bad. That storm they showed seemed like stock footage too, since the girl didn't get wet.

Blech.

Heh. The rocket scientist is eating worms already. Build some shelter, woman!

I tell you what, i would be looking for that daggone idol every moment I spent out there.

Trick them into thinking you found it? Great plan... until they find out you're lying.

Haha, if she tries to trick them into thinking she found the idol, and they don't believe her, all they have to do is pretend they believe her and vote her out anyway.

Hmmm.... Misty is implying she found the hidden idol.

On topic, I like that they've split them into four tribes that would have naturally formed within the two tribes, anyway. It's going to be interesting to see how they do.

I predict the older ones will stick around longer.

Melissa Rivers: that idol is FUGLY!!!

OH, Misty hinting she found the idol. I wonder if she's bluffing or telling the truth? If she's bluffing, that's smart as hell.

That is an ugly immunity idol. :wtf:

A brain teaser? Where's Steph when you need her?

Brain teaser...the younger guys are at a disadvantage.

shane probably isn't going to have much endurance due to smoking 3 packs a day. :)

Those are supposed to look like shrunken heads. I've seen better at the Field Museum.

I think that's the first Idol I wouldnt' want near me...

Hee! They had to blur Cirie's bathing suit top.

Cerie had the top blur, didn't she? She's about to fall out.

Don't the teams have names? I wish Jeff would use them...

Those older guys are in fantastic shape. :)

Older chick in the boat was showing some indecent boobage. Let's all drink to the first pixellated nudity! :gulp:

younger guys are still trying to untie rope.

Grumpy Old Men
Spice Girls
Golden Girls

A Survivor fan outside the gate: Holy crap, Dan is white! He's almost as white as I am!

So, should we call the young guys the Young Guns?

Spice girls are doing better than yesterday. Misty won't have to use her alleged immunity.

Another Survivor insider in press row: Young beefcake tribe are terrible.

Woohoo Bruce! I knew I'd love that guy.

The Spice Girls won immunity.

The Grumpy Old Men are second place won immunity

The Golden Girls are "one twist away"

Let's hear it for the old guys! :clapping: Crowd chanting: This is awesome.

Older women going to tribal council.

So is it going to be a female team losing every time?

The Stoner Boyz (minus honorary member Shane) are SO lame.

I knew by the earlier editing that the Spice Girls would "come back" and do well in immunity.

Ye "Olde Ladies" really blew it though. Could we tell? Who was most useless during that?

Melinda is useless.

Week 1 - Inside Tribal Council

Ewww, Austin kissed the ugly, disgusting shrunken head.

Really? I didn't see him kissing Shane.

Ohhhhhhh.

(heee)

Can Misty outsmart the YW tribe? Can she make them vote for someone else? Is she smart enough to do that? That would be a NO, NO and NO.

The Names:

The Dudes
Grumpy Old Men
Spice Girls
Golden Girls

A Survivor historian in the front row: The only one I'm not sure fits is "The Dudes". "The Dude" of film fame would laugh at these guys. These guys are lame, stupid metrosexual lazy posers. We need something to encapsulize all of that.

Melinda and Cirie will be useless until their boot. I'm neither convinced nor unconvinced about the other two.

ciria will go

Sheesh, can't LumberJill have some privacy? They should leave her alone.

Poor Tina. She's breaking my heart...

An Amber fan in the front row: I would send Cirie home. Her boobs are very disturbing and I don't want to her the screaming with the bugs come out.

Uh Oh. "Sitting by yourself". That's a crime in Survivor land.

Then again, they need this chick, assuming they actually think this four tribe thing will persist for any legnth of time.

Why is it weird to want to sit alone?

wow, it's only been four months since the previous survivor started filming? (reference lumberjill's son's death)

This is a social game with tribal council looming. Not a good time to go off on your own.

Very strange dynamics with the early votes.

A Survivor color analyst: Cirie's strategizing. It's nice to see people actually try to avoid getting voted off.

Take the fish back for dinner!

Free food...Tina finds a fish washed up on a rock. Where's Lydia when you need her?

She's never picked up a fish in her life, has she?

what? shes scared of a spanish hogfish?

"Don't we need to fry it?"

LOL

A fish is just lying there? All previous Survivor contestants will be pissed right now.

No dummy you eat the fish raw, skin and all....Jeepers!!!

lol, tina caught a fish with her bare hands! she conveniently left out that it was just lying there waiting for her. LOL

She's got them thinking she actually caught a fish. Very smart.

Another Survivor fan from the Upper Deck: Her voice would get on my nerves after a while.

BroadwayBomber55

Week 1 - The Verdict

A fish...:clapping: No way are they going to get rid of their "breadwinner."

Lumberlady seems to be very unaware of Survivor 101 strategy. She played the "workhorse" role a bit, but she's going off on her own, being irritating and loud, not taking other women aside, etc.

CircleBoobs could politic her way out of there though.

Tina sounds so much like Kathy from Marquesas and AS. And I hope she won't try to use the worker bee around camp so don't get rid of me spiel. I hated it with Lill and Lydia

Hmm...didn't make it very obvious who was going?

I like Tina. Shut up, Cirie! Crowd boos at Cirie.

I don't want LumberJill to go yet. Can they get rid of the blond chick with the short hair?

Definitely smart. No witnesses. I would have done the same thing.

A Survivor color analyst: catching fish proves shes a threat, tina is gone tonight.

Hopefully we have more strategizing this season and less like we have in the past, with one or two people leading an alliance and the rest following.

Great advice Cirie. One reason that I've never even thought about applying And what is it with people like Melinda? Every season we here from several people how hard this is. I'm just surprised they haven't figured it out yet.

Cirie is sealing her fate. Adios.

Bye, bye Cirie...

Cirie is cutting her own throat with her comments.

Tina just blew it, didn't she? One bad answer and...

UH OH!!! Tina just made a huge mistake! Don't disparage the three people voting for you. Tina's insulting the work ethics of the other 3 ladies. Crowd chants: SLUT towards Tina.

boy, tina likes sticking her foot in her mouth....and at the most inopportune time.

No, her going off at TC and saying they're all lazy is what's going to get her booted. Somehow I think Tina knows she's a goner and is just saying her peace.

A Survivor radio insider: If they have ANY sense, they'll keep Tina. Otherwise they're just going to get picked off one by one.

Cirie votes for Tina. Ruth Marie votes for Cirie.

I wonder why Cirie took on the breadwinner? I wonder why she didn't try to get Melinda out instead (who seems an easier target)?

A Survivor fan listening on the radio: Wow! We're at the final four already!! That's great....

EEE! Wrong answer.

Tina is OUTTA here! The other 3 couldn't stand the competition.

Honestly, I think Tina screwed herself RIGHT there with that bad answer.

A Survivor cameraman: Without Tina, this has to be the weakest tribe ever.

Always trust the little whoosy sound effect after somebody says something damning. It's NEVER failed us.

Bye Tina! You dumbass.

Look at this. The crowd is dumping beer and calling Tina "SLUT".

Wow I didn't see Tina being the 1st out. But it just goes to show, you don't make STUPID comments at TC! Jeff Probst powerbombed Tina into the fire.

Well. The older women on this tribe are dumber than rocks.

It's official, I hope the older guys kick everyone's butt. the older women's team are stupid.

HAH!!!! Tina's own family called her ". . . one tough lumberJill" when the Survivor Family Moment was played!

the old women better hope for an extremely early merge.......or that the other tribes dident boil their water long enough ..........

i see early extinction......

Monty Python's Lumberjack song keeps going through my head.

Next week: HEEEE it looks like Shane gets hit by lightning next week!

Shane wants to quit on week two?!?!?! I knew I'd hate that guy. He's tryin' to pull an Osten?!

Oh great. Episode 2 and we have a quitter. Maybe he'll get struck by lightning. Crowd chants a****le towards Shane.

a.) The weather is apparently damn good (at least until NEXT episode, and they don't know that yet)
b.) The show is bribing people with SO much food in recent years
c.) This four tribe thing can't last all that long.

Mind you, they might not have thought this out, but the reality of the situation is that sending Tina away may only hurt them in challenges, not elsewhere.

More Shane idiocy next week!

Nice leave-taking spite from Lumberlady! Hee.

I can name the next 3 out right now - Cerie, Melinda, Ruth-Marie. Stupidest move ever.

The older women are not cohesive. I could see an early mass exodus. Tina goes off and IMHO, she's their strongest link. Then again, her stupidity cost her in the end. The old women are really weak.

I'm rootin' for the old guys to do major damage. The young women are eye candy.

Wow, 4 tribes to start the show? How long will that last?

Tina stuck her foot in her mouth with her comments about the work ethic of her teammates. The older women are not cohesive as a unit and they're very dumb. I could see a mass extinction early with this group.

The old guys did well in Week 1. Bruce and Terry are my early favorites and watch out for Dan. The young girls are some eye candy for us to watch. I wonder which one make playboy. The young men won their immunity as well.

My first impressions:

Misty played the Hogeboom Strategy with the immunity idol and either made the greatest move out of the gate or one that will bite her in the ass.

Getting rid of the breadwinner on day one is never really a winning strategy.

The Tribal Council setting is coolest of all TC settings in Survivor history. If they could get some bats flying out of the cave, that would be even cooler.

Terrible strategy getting rid of Tina.

In a secret scene aired on CBS this morning and can be seen here, Cirie has even more to say about Tina:

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/02/03/earlyshow/series/survivor/main1277692.shtml

"I just really can't stand the lumberjack lady. And it's so early. I never thought this soon someone would get on my nerves so much. It's just that she doesn't value anything I have to say. ... If I say, "we should turn the fish on its side," and two other people say we should stand the fish up straight, she'll say, "OK, let's stand the fish up straight." Then when we stand it up, she'll say, "I have an even better idea: How about we turn it on its side?" Didn't I just say that five minutes ago?"

Is Cirie stepping up early to play the "heel"?

I pick Terry to go all the way. How does someone like Cirie even apply for this show. For people that have experince camping have difficulties. She's never camped in her life and expects to do well? Afraid of leaves. Give me a break. Then they get rid of thear bread winner. I'm glad they split the teams by age. In the past most of the slackers were the young ones. You have to wonder if they merge next week. How would Cirie know about Shane not having a cigarette.

I can't imagine getting rid of one of the big gimmics so quickly. I think tribal councils are going to be great this year with such small dynamics. But challenges will be interesting, since normally the team with more players has to sit someone out...If the older women lose a couple more immunity challenges we could be down to one-on-one challenges soon.

The previews lead me to believe there is some kind of merge. Cirie is commenting one on one to the cameraman on the guy who wants to possibly quit. He's not on her tribe anyway unless they merged the same age groups together. I hope that the 4 tribe thing is not a short lived gimmick, since they have been promoting it for weeks now.

Week 2 - InGame Play By Play 1st Half

Corwd filing inside the Reality TV Arena...

I'm still mad at those stupid old chicks for getting rid of LumberJill, I want them to all be voted out ASAP.

I hadn't noticed Jeff's hair last week with that stupid hat on but jeez, it looks like he's got shoe polish in his hair. He looks ridiculous

A Bruce fan in the front row wired for sound: My faves so far are still Bruce and Sally. I can't wait to see Shane have his nic-fit. :soapbox:

Ok does anyone think Shane is really going to play up the smoking thing to get more face time? He's an actor, I think he's gonna try and create more drama than there really is, to get more air time.

I can't wait for Cirie to find some creepy crawlers under the leaves.

Yeah, ones that come INTO their "shelter".

Looks like the younger men at least got A shelter built at some point.

A Survivor insider in press row: If someone outright insults you to your face in tribal, and you also have a chance to ensure a gratified reaction from the one who is suddenly "saved", why wouldn't you take it?

Plus, these people aren't (that much) stupider than us. They must suspect, off-camera of course, that four person tribes can't last very long as a structure. I mean how long did it take for all of us to conclude it can't last? Five seconds after they announced it? So why not focus on strong alliances rather than figuring out the best workhorse? You stand just as much chance of losing the workhorse as the ally in a shuffle, but the ally might help you down the line.

Ha ha! Rain on them! Punish these punks, oh Panama! Yes, I simultanously want to see them punished for dumping the competant chick, even as I defend the decision! I'm contrary like that!

Geez - the rain really turned the camp into a swamp.

InShane complains that he's a three-pack a day smoker and he's already going bananas without having had a cigarette in 31 hours.

I hope those old witches never make fire. Freeze to death! They're the heels of the show so far. They gave Tina the jacknife power bomb through thumbtacks.

lol Not as easy for the older women as Lumberjill made it look.

Ha ha ha! The old chicks can't start a fire without Tina Logroller! Crowd chants: YOU F'ED UP! to the old ladies.

What the hell is all over Misty's arms?

WHAT is all over Misty's arms? Looks like chickenpox or something. Crowd chants: holy sh*t!

And Shane is just standing around again doing nothing...Crowd chanting: LARD ASS! LARD ASS to Shane.

 Looks like a few DID notice Misty's arm.

A Sally fan in the upperdeck: Misty has a fungus. Ewww.

Merge...

Oh here we go, tribe shuffle already!

Yawn.

Insta-reshuffle.

Yawn.

Shane??? cool????

Boy she's gonna regret that :)

Go Sally and Bruce! Get on a good tribe! :clapping:

I still don't get Shane's "paragraph tattoos"

A Bobby fan in the luxury box seats: He must not have spoken enough lines tonight, then, that's all. Trust me, once you hear him speak more than three sentences, you'll detest InShane as much as I do.

He's annoying, he's hyperactive, he speaks without thinking, he's sexist, he's selfish, he's immature, he's flighty, and he's an attention-seeker. Are those enough reasons for you to detest him, too?

Let me know, 'cause I'm sure I could come up with many more reasons.

Shane whining already on Day 4 is really pathetic.

Okay... Circe wasn't picked last?!?!?!? wierd!

The person picking her didn't know anything about her.

Hee! Pecking order already.

An Aras fan in the upperdeck: they scared me with Bruce. Woohoo! :clapping:

HEE! Bruce gets immunity, and exiled.

Hee hee. They don't pick Bruce, but he's safe on Exile Island for the next vote!

Hilarious! Odd man out is immune. I bet they are mad now!

Crowd chants: holy sh*t! after the twist.

now that's a good twist

Neat, Bruce gets a reprieve from schoolyard pick stupdity.

At least Bruce can survive alone for 4 days

Oh goody snakes and Cirie. This should be GOOD!

That was an interesting twist.. Cirie looked pissed.

Those wooden snakes look damn creepy.

Another Survivor insider: A pit of LEAVES? Cirie will never make it.

A die-hard Survivor fan outside the Arena: Oh no, this challenge involves SNAKES!!!

I cannot watch this one, no way. Not if they show those nasty-looking snakes.

Reward is fishing gear? Nick and Courtney are the "snake-wranglers".

Aw rats, fake snakes. I bet Cirie can't even touch them anyway. Crowd boos.

Cirie just slammed into that guy's head. Ouch.

La Mina (Bruce, Dan, Shane, and Terry) wins.

La Mina is my fave tribe based on most of whom they chose during "picks" except Shane, but let the story play out.

The La Mina team looks a lot more athletic than the other team. Some of the picks had me scratching my head but then again I have more information than the pickers did.

Week 2 InGame Play By Play 2nd Half

A Survivor TV Play-By-Play man: Say what you will but Cirie was right in there pulling hard for the team.

She could be standing on her head while juggling with her feet, I still want her gone as soon as it can be arranged.

But wait til they have to eat bugs. LOL!

Why oh why can't they have used real snakes?

Another Survivor fan in the lowerbowl seats: At this point I still can't render opinions on these insta-tribes. I haven't really absorbed yet who is in which one. There can't by definition be much of a gender disparity (one tribe will have one less woman, right?), but did an age disparity develop. Anyone figure it out?

I see Burnett wasn't any more impressed with the 4 tribes idea than I was. At least it hopefully didn't have a noticeable impact on the game.

A Cirie fan in the skybox seats: I am going to be in the minority this season....I like Cirie. She did what she had to do to save her own skin.

Another Cirie fan in the upperdeck: I'm with you on that one. :) I find her hilarious! (Yet I was  when Jeff said the last part of that challenge was to dig around in a leaf pit)

"I'm 34 going on 12" - Shane :roflmao:

A Peanut vendor in the upperdeck: CircleBoobs and InShane are on the same tribe?

Poor tribe.

Anyone figure out the age spreads on these new tribes yet?

Oh, one of the New Age Wacko girls is there too. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Hmm... Shane, Cirie and Melinda on the same team.

Notice that after Shane said that he hadn't thought about leaving, they cut straight to boobs in a bikini.

Hee. Cirie gets a few points back from me for making fun of Courtney. Crowd chants: scaredycat towards Cirie.

Where did Cirie find that top? I want to make sure never to shop there.

Cirie and Melinda were the ones sticking out as not belonging last week, too.

Here's the new tribes if anyone missed it:

Casaya (Purple) - Danielle, Shane, Courtney, Aras, Cirie, Bobby, Melinda
La Mina (Orange) - Terry, Sally, Austin, Misty, Nick, Ruth Marie, Dan

No Melinda, YOUR the only one thats screwed ha!

A Cirie fan in the Reality TV Bar: I don't have an issue with Cirie, either. :)

Uh oh. Shane's trying to plot.

Not the swear on my son's life...how long does that last

So this is the drama tribe?

InShane is swearing on his son's life? Sweeeeeeeeeet.

He's trying to make a shallow people alliance.

So Shane's like the leader of this younger tribe. Comforting?

Here goes the big "three way swear on their lives that they trust each other in the second episode stuff". It's a time honored idiot tradition on Survivor.

Another Survivor insider in press row: One tribe splits by age, the other by gender. Now I don't like the misogynist guys. No wimmens allowed in 'r' clubhouse!

Dang alliances right off the bat and everyone is looking for one. This could bite them in the butt. Things change quickly.

Everybody's making alliances. I predict with Shane as a leader, and Courtney out in space somewhere that alliance will be one of the least effective ones in history.

A Shane fan in the front row: Bruce is freaking me out.

I don't think the editors intend to let us KNOW who finds the idol until they use it!

Bruce karate chops the bad old Outcast Exile Island! Take that Island!

Cool storm time...isn't this where the previews show Shane getting smacked in the head?

This makes La Mina the older tribe, doesn't it? And I think maybe the smarter one.

I added the average ages to my original post.

Casaya ranges in age from 24 to 35 with an average of 30.4.
La Mina ranges in age from 24 to 52 with an average of 35.1.
Lonely Bruce is 58.

They might be older overall, but a lot more capable, I think.

Bruce should have been building a shelter instead of playing Ninja with his imaginary friends.

Where did Jeff say that Bruce fits in when he returns from Exile Island?

He replaces whoever gets voted out tonight

Bruce looked like he could totally kick the crap out of his imaginary friends, though.

The old "some idiot loses the spear" plotline. Guess we know the obvious boot for that team now.

Oh no. Sally lost the spear.

Don't worry about it, you only threw away the reward

I'm soooo sorry, I loooost it, I'm soooo sorry. Vote her out! Crowd chanting: What Was That?

Can we nickname it "The Spear of Destiny" now?

A Sally fan in the upperdeck: Sally is one of my picks...sigh

They'll all be nice about it, but losing that spear is huge.

This should haunt Sally from now on.

A Stephenie fan in the Reality TV Bar: GOod grief, who's the chick with the enormous rack?!

The young good looking girl with implants or the old homely one with droop?

Doomsday Shane again. Crowd chanting: crybaby! to Shane.

Memo to Shane: please shut the (bleep) up

I think Shane is trying to blow smoke up the other team

Any challenge involving a giant zombie head is instantly about 500% better.

Zombie heads on zombie bodies. That's hilarious.

Zombie head? Aren't zombies supposed to be like living dead or something? Arena music: living dead girl by Rob Zombie.

If they are smart (and few Survivors have ever been smart) they will vote out Shane if they lose the challenge.

Immunity challenge time. Bailing boats, dragging heavy crap underwater.

Well Shane made zero because he is a ZERO

They don't know how to bail out water...geez

Jeff: Shane makes ZERO progress in the water. {snerk}

Probst informs us that Casaya is "absolutely inept". Way to cheerlead there Jeff! Crowd chanting: OMG!

Laughing at Jeff's "totally inept" comment

"Casaya is absolutely inept." I suspect we'll be hearing that a few more times before this is over.

La Mina wins immunity. Silly Sally is safe.
(Say that 3 times fast.)

LaMina wins immunity, which means Bruce has to join the loser team.

Shane is pissed but he was so worthless. Crowd chanting: SHANE sucks.

Maybe Cirie will be gone. I can hope....

Get that anchor to the shore?

Was probst talking about Shane? Circe? Or that spacey girl?

La Mina wins. Good. But does that mean that Bruce goes to Casaya? I'm not clear on what they meant by what they told him.

Another die-hard Survivor fan in the upperdeck: Well either Melinda or Cirie goes, they others won't see who should really go. They are looking at age/bodies.

Well, Sally will probably be okay over the spear, now. Tribes have short memories over something like that. A new drama will take its place before they go. But damn, that was a dumb move of hers. Don't offer to go fishing if you can't hold onto the spear.

I don't see Casaya doing very well at all. Not too many deep thinkers, perhaps getting Bruce next week might help them.
Maybe Bruce will kick their butts.

And I'm guessing they won't see Bruce's value and will dump him ASAP.

A Suvivor color commentator: LaMina. Stupid name. I'm gonna call them Laminate. Makes about as much sense as LaMina but I can remember it.

These people seem stupid in their alliance forming. Let's grab the first 4 people that are alone together and form an alliance! Doesn't look like any of them thought it through for a second

Shane hates to lose but he's such a loser.

Week 2 - Inside Tribal Council

Lol, quitting because you need a cigarette and coffee :) That takes the cake

Danielle's boobs are another tribe member, I swear. :jaw-drop:

Maybe they could get voted off.

Flip-flopper Shane wants to stay now. Well by all means.

A Dan fan in the upperdeck: Personally I think Shane is doing all this for attention. I see a need for him to be the center of everything.

fake drama from Shane about quitting

Man I hope we don't have to listen to Shane whine for long

Shane's alliance members see their brilliance in bringing him into their alliance

Yep Shane has to be the center of the universe. This was all fake. Crowd chanting: That was fake!

If Shane's dumb alliance members had any brain they would boot Shane out of their alliance and recruit Bobby real quick.

Why hasn't this idiot had water in 2 days? It's going to be hard to bounce back from that.

A die-hard Survivor fan in a sports bar: Shane just wants attention! He's like a whipped (wimpy) puppy.

Oh, look. An idiot who is discussing who he wants to oust publicly. Has he SEEN this show before?

Who elected Aras as tribe President?

Ok these 2 men are complete IDIOTS, vote one of the off.

This is the stupidest tribe ever. This tribe just keeps gettin' nuttier and nuttier.

Wow, Aras really just pops off with whatever is on his mind. :jaw-drop: So does Shane. :jaw-drop:

I hope they don't vote out Yoga eye candy boy for taking charge.

Well, smart girl, if you don't like it, don't vote for them you bloody idiot.

Heavens! Courtney seems to have one of the better brains in this tribe. First impressions aren't all that true, I guess. Just get rid of Shane.

If you feel so awful, then don't vote with the 2 males. (not going to call them men any more, they are ignorant)

They should get rid of Shane with his drama and big mouth. These people are unbelievable

Shane just told everyone they have an alliance and that whoever between Cirie and Melinda that doesn't go now will go next time. This idiot doesn't realize that the other 4 (when Bruce comes back) will now know they will be picked off one by one if they don't band together.

I hope they vote out Shane or Aras for that stupid stunt. They both just proved that they have the diplomacy of a bull in a china shop.

Week 2 - The Verdict

Cool tribal council setup.

I can see this team getting picked off one by one, losing immunities one after the other.

In other words Jeff, I'm a complete brat

Shane STILL cannot shut up. Unbelieveable! Crowd chants: a****le towards Shane.

That was a really Sh**y thing Aras and Shane did.

A Survivor beat writer: Cirie brings up the alliance of 4. Good move. :)

I hope they kick either Shane or Aras out. Heck, I want both gone.

Yes, tell Bruce everything :)

Can they kick both of them out?

I hope Bruce found immunity.

Crying? That's a bit much.

A Beer vendor in the lower bowl seats:
Awww Cirie and Melinda will feel SOOOOOOO disappointed if they're booted. But of course, Tina didn't feel any of that. Why have such hurt feelings about what you didn't mind doing to someone else?

Yeah, they did it to LumberJill without a thought, and they were smug about it! Hypocrites. I'm glad she got voted out and next it should be Cirie's turn.

Time to vote. Melinda votes for Shane. Because she promised.

I love what Melinda said! "I don't break my promise"

The problem I see is the 4 "young" members do not have 1 brain between them.

"This tribe ia all over the map" That's an understatement.

I don't blame Cirie for being that upset, that whole thing sucked.

Melinda seems less useless than Cirie.

Ronnie Wood, err... I mean Shane... stays.

The tally:

Shane - 2
Melinda - 4

Cirie squeaks by again.

Crowd chants: bullsh*t!

A Melinda fan: I would turn around and smack Shane if he had touched me then :)

A dejected Survivor fan in the front row: I didn't even like her and I'm so pissed on her behalf. I HATE it when someone says they want to quit when there are people that would LOVE to go there. :soapbox:

Why not Cirie at least? Melinda was harmless.

Don't settle in too much Bruce, you might be the third one to go.

They are picking off the older women.

I just wish Bruce didn't end up with those losers!

Bruce is pretty smart, I bet he can take control from Aras

The addition of Bruce to Casaya raises their average age from 30.4 to 34.1 and effectively doubles their I.Q.

I usually want the quitters gone, and I wouldn't mind seeing Shane getting it. Melinda and Cirie, though, are more objectionable to me.

Maybe Bruce can use Shane as his punching bag now.

Next Week on Survivor:

Aras and Shane were a couple of real d*cks this episode. Why is he saying right out loud who is going? And then Shane pipes in? They are some of the stupidest people ever. Shane was faking with alot of his crap. If they think he's unstable and a big mouth now, it's only going to get worse.

I'm glad Melinda got the boot, she deserved it but Shane is a bigger liability. Did he find some Poppy plants on the island or something? He's an even bigger loser than we all thought preshow

Next week: Casaya finds out why keeping Shane was a mistake.

Neither Melinda or Cirie wanted to quit, Shane was pleading to be voted out and being a whiny bitch.

Casaya is going to implode if they keep it up. Melinda is happy she gets to go home and eat food!

I didn't care for Melinda one way or another so no feelings on her boot, but I really wish Shane would have gone. He and Aras are so arrogant and obnoxious. I hope Probst doesn't start toting him as a "great character" for this season.

And next week we get an extra dose of InShanity.

Bruce will probably just lie low. There's no easy power play for him.

Can we see the nuttiest tribe ever this season?
Casaya (Purple) - Danielle, Shane, Courtney, Aras, Cirie, Bobby, Melinda
Melinda and Cirie were crying. Shane whining and pouting and Aras along with Shane were complete d*cks this week battling for power. This tribe is pathetic. I feel bad for Bruce joining this tribe with no disclipine. Shane is the whining, wussbag heel. Aras is also a heel. Cirie is safe, but I still depise her and Melinda for booting off Tina in Week 1. Bruce is in no-man's land right now.

Week 3 - InGame Play By Play 1st Half

Crowd filing inside the Reality TV Arena...

I can't wait to see how Bruce gets on with his new team mates.

I wonder what Shane will freak out about this week? It's always something with this guy....

"I'm so bored" "I don't want to work" "I need a cigarette" "I miss my kids"

Bruce looked like he wanted to snap Shane like a twig in TC.

And you know he could :)

A Terry fan in the upperdeck wired for sound: I am really ready for Shane to go this week. I don't know if I can handle another episode with him whining.

Hey look - a full moon! Has it ever not been full on Survivor? You know what happens...crazy things happen in a full moon.

WOW Bobby can talk! Is that his first confessional?

Melinda down, two more Old Chicks to go. I hope another of them bites the dust tonight.

A Survivor insider on press row: It doesn't seem fair that this loser tribe, who lost the challenge, gets rewarded by receiving Bruce. :(

Shane thinks Bruce is neurotic. Uhhhh-kay. Crowd chants: crybaby towards Shane.

Man.... Bruce is tooting his own horn a tad too much. tsk tsk

Hee, SHANE wants Bruce to shut up. Look in the mirror, dork! Crowd chants: a****le towards Shane.

A die-hard Survivor fan in the front row seats: What the....?? You can't purify water by pouring it through tshirts!! What about bacteria?

Bruce is setting himself up as a leader of the tribe and likely target for Shane's band of idiots.

Mmmmm....snail stew. Tasty. Some of the crowd is reaching for a puke bucket.

Poor team, living on escargot and crab legs :)

Yikes! One of the rewards should be access to a dermatologist.

The loss of the spear is really hurting La Mina.

Time again to wonder, WHY no one learns to make fish traps before the game begins? Morons.

Why can't they eat puffer fish? Are they poisonous?

Don't get the puffer!!!!!

At least they know the puffer fish are poisonous. I bet they had to be told. {snerk}

Danielle says Bruce is their "Saviah".

Gah, Bruce is willing to take the lead on everything. Bye bye Bruce?

Week 3 - InGame Play By Play 2nd Half

Forget the bacteria -- what about the B.O.???

I couldn't stand to drink water that tastes or smells like B.O. -- no way!!!

Reward challenge: tarps, lanterns, fuel, pillows.

Danielle was raised in Boston, now from Florida.

La Mina is leading the challenge.

Well, Shane is actually pulling his weight in this challenge.

Aras should have had that one for the win

He'll try and blame Casia

La Mina wins reward. And they get to pick who goes to Exile Island: Bruce. But this time it doesn't give him immunity. Crowd chants: WHAT?!

Terry is on fire. He almost singlehandedly won this challenge. Crowd really likes Terry so far.

I guess they shouldn't answer Jeff's questions about how things are going. Not truthfully, anyway. Poor Bruce.

La Mina backwards is aniMaL.

Another Survivor insider on press row: I guarantee Shane and his band of idiots will not blame Aras for the loss but New Age boy is the reason as he should have caught that ball when they were up 4 to 3.

Gee... yet another Survivor first: a torrential downpour!

Rainstorm. The tarp couldn't have come at a better time.

Another chance for Bruce to find the immunity idol

Only if he doesn't drown while trying to find it.

Casaya backwards A-ya-sac (pronounced suck)

Is that Courtney who's trying to pick up a pot of boiling water with 2 sticks? An accident waiting to happen. Can't she roll up a couple t-shirts?

What a freak! Can't he joke around with people?

Shane just proves to his team he is psychotic. He goes into a yelling fit. Crowd chants: a****le again to Shane.

Shane, plop your butt down on your thinking seat and think about what an ass you are!

Week 3 - InGame Play By Play Extra Time

Vote Shane off just for forcing CBS to fuzz out his 'unenchanted forest'.

They won't vote Bruce out now. They'll all feel sorry for him.

I still don't like Cirie, but I am getting a kick out of her glee over the fighting in the alliance. :)

She is the lunatic??

Will someone please feed Shane a Puffer fish.

Shane calls Courtney a lunatic? He needs to go tonight!

But only if La Mina wins immunity. Else we'll be stuck with InShane another week.

A Bobby fan in the skybox seats: Shane thinks Courtney is loony? Pot, meet kettle....

Sally and Misty try to break up the boy's club over at La Mina.

"Some people are born with it." Give me a break!

"Would you like a shoulder rub?" She's not obvious about it. The girl's got subtle moves.

For once we have smart bimbos on Survivor  Crowd chants: holy sh*t!

Misty's being a devious little thing already. Cool.

Another die-hard Survivor fan in the Reality TV Bar: Should they change the name of Exile Island to Bruce's Place?

Bag wrestling?

Return of the Dragon: Bruce is back.

Immunity Challenge: dig up a bag, battle for the bags, first tribe to 3 wins.

Cirie sits on Sally. :-rofl-: Cirie with the Banzai Drop

Oh yeah! Crowd chants: This is awesome! :clapping:

Stevie Wonder could see through Misty's weak game, but guys on Survivor tend to loose their mind after a few days so it might work on Nick and Austin

A Courtney fan in the skybox: I think the guys are enjoying this a bit too much.

"Tastes great!"

"Less Filling!"

"Aaaahhh!"

Wow... Cirie really fought for that one. Good for her!

Joe Rogan: Man! Cerie is scrappy!! What an animal.

Casaya gets the first point. Boy's turn.

Nobody can dig because they're holding onto each other.

Nick goes for the touchdown and the score is tied.

I thought psycho Shane going to hurt poor little Dan with the GORE!

Austin has a bit of trouble but finally beats Shane.

This is everything we thought it will be and more...

Did they just cut out part of the struggle between Shane and Austin?

LOL DID YOU SEE THAT?! Cirie threw Misty like a rag doll with the Black Hole Slam! That was brutal! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

Next round gets dirty and Aras scores. Tied again. Last round. Crowd chants: holy sh*t!

Crowd chanting: TNA! TNA! TNA! TNA!

Dan's whiter than a corpse

Bob in the last round -- he's tough. His team could win.

A Nick fan from the lower bowl seats leading a chant: Danielle flashes some boobs! woohoo Crowd chants: SHOW YOUR HOOTERS!

Ruth Marie can't outrun Bobby.

That was a fun challenge :) Casaya wins. La Mina goes to TC.

Damn. Ruth Marie almost had it, but Bobby takes her down with the German Suplex. Bobby held the bag and jumped on his square.

Crowd boos at Shane.

Week 3 - InGame Play By Play Inside Tribal Council

Everyone in La Mina is trying to get an alliance going, except Ruth Marie. She doesn't seem to be included in any of them. Foreshadowing?

Between Danielle's boobs and Bobby's butt, the fuzzy blob guy was working overtime.

Well, the boys decide to vote off Misty, regardless of her massaging prowess. But things can change in the next few minutes.

A peanut vendor: Damn... RM has a nice set of abs! WOW

A Survivor Color Commentator: If Terry & Dan was smart they would have already recruited Ruth Marie given that they know that Misty is trying to use her feminine charms to entice Nick and Austin.

Austin's dilemma: ally himself with the young folks, or with the men.

Tribal council is pretty civil. Probst brings up the spear of course.

Sure, Jeff, remind them Sally lost the spear :) It was classy of him ( I missed who) to say it wasn't lucky and not point fingers.

It was Austin. I thought it was pretty nice of him not to call Sally out on it.

Ruth Marie admits she feels vulnerable. Nick admits he's voting with a group. Why do these people always tell Jeff their secrets?

Ruth Marie reminds me of Michelle Pfeiffer a bit -- if Michelle Pfeiffer looked like HELL, that is.

Week 3 - InGame Play By Play The Verdict

And we have Jeff's tally:

Ruth Marie - 2
Misty - 4

And Misty doesn't have the idol. Buh-bye Misty.

I guess Misty doesn't have much of a career as an massage therapist

Sorry Misty.

The guys turn out to be smarter than first appeared.

Now, look the guys all want Misty's phone number...

Guys chanting: PLAYBOY'S CALLING on Misty.

So her amazing flirting skills and her massage got her exactly zilch. :-rofl-:

his sort of leaves Sally out on her own, doesn't it? She has to know that her "alliance" screwed her over.

Sally and Ruth Marie better get something going or they will be picked off with the guys. Had to Laugh, Sally and Misty were pretty sure they were manipulating the younger guys well, what a wake up call for Sally.

Next week - more fighting and stupidity from Shane and the lunatic tribe. Come on, people.

Week 3 - InGame Play By Play After the Game PostMortem

What an amazing immunity challenge this week. Casaya wins this week with Bobby securing the win. Bag wrestling at its finest.

La Mina voted out Misty. Misty tried to use her charm to stay, but failed. Nice try, Misty, but you're at the wrong place at the wrong time. The guys in the crowd inside the Reality TV Arena chanting: PLAYBOY'S CALLING!

Sally and Misty trying the Jenna/Heidi flirt your way to the merge strategy, but it backfired.

Shane has gotten even more psychotic and he's tryin' to get under the skin of the Casaya tribe.

Sally and Ruth Marie have to get together and do something to stay in the game of the guys of La Mina will vote them out.

Things will get interesting next week with Shane whining again.

Why do the hot ones always have to leave so soon?

Poor Bruce gets double duty on Exile Island. The fact that his tribe needs him pretty much guarantees him a ticket into the merge. Also, he's the only person who hasn't been to Tribal Council yet (except as a spectator).

I was actually shocked with the Misty vote off. I figured they'd go with Ruth Marie, all but killing the older woman tribe.

Crowd filing inside the Reality TV Arena...

Dan wants to bring Ruth Marie into his alliance.

A Misty fan in the upperdeck wired for sound: Ruth Marie walks like Shane. Weird.

Ruth Marie may walk like Shane, but me tell you something: Maybe they are long lost brother and sister

Looks like Sally is not part of the in-group at La Mina.

premature chicken counting that 5 of them will make the merge

Snail chowder.

A Dan fan in the skybox: That's right...we men/hunters you women/cook

Over at Casaya, the men bring home snails, the women do nothing, apparently.

Looks like an ambitious bunch there.

A Survivor insider in press row: Courtney is a stupid woman. Glad to see there are still dumb bimbos around on Survivor :)

Aras is talking about losing on purpose in order to get rid of Courtney. Oh yeah, that's always a good idea.

OHHH YIPPEE!! Another puzzle in the water challenge.

A Peanut vendor in the lowerbowl seats: Cirie loves the drama between her tribemates. I don't like her but I'm kind of hoping she'll stick around a while.

Until Bruce showed up....I don't remember seeing Shane and Aras doing much around camp but sleeping.

A reward of toilet paper! LOL! Crowd chants: holy sh*t!

Charmin so they can T.P. the other tribes camp.
Or not.

Where do they get rid of the charmin once it has been used?

Week 4 - InGame Play By Play 2nd Period

Casaya wins the reward, by solving the puzzle fastest. They got the pieces into the "hub" at about the same time. And they decide to send Terry to Exile Island.

Who is better prepared than Terry for Exile Island? Besides, he was instrumental in deciding Bruce should go back. Let him try it out. Of course, he might find the idol. He didn't seem too upset about being sent. His alliance is probably strong and loyal, what does he have to worry about?

They're coming up with some really good challenges this season
Last week's was my favorite....it'll be hard to top that one.

What was with Shane and that little yelpy laugh when they chose Terry?

La Mina should have been solving the puzzle each time a piece was added and maneuvering under the guise of "making space" for the next piece.

So who will get the first dump?

Casaya gets a bathroom with toilet and shower.

Shane wants to store firewood in the outhouse, Bobby wants to do a #2. I Got a Deuce to Drop.

A Survivor TV analyst: Oh my god. He used the bathroom to go to the bathroom, what a terrible person he is...

Oooooh - the idol is beneath a rock!

Terry finds the Idol in his 1st try.

He figured it out quick. So much for the water barrel.
Yes Shane, Terry is in Hell, you a$$ They just handed him safety at any time

Crowd chanting: a****le towards Shane.

And given the pecking order of the tribe, he should be able to hang onto it until after the merge at least.

I guess Jiffy wasn't kidding when he told Misty he told her all she needed to know where to look for the idol. Who knew it'd be that obvious?

ETA: What would happen if someone knew he had the idol and stole it from him? I don't think they'd be able to use it themselves but what if they threw it in the water or buried it in the woods? What then?

Week 4 - InGame Play By Play 3rd Period

A beer vendor in the upperdeck: I wonder if he'll tell his buddy Dan, or keep it a secret.

A Shane fan in the upperdeck: He seems cocky and arrogant to me. I compare him to someone like Tom, and they seem to have the same level of competence (probably, a bit hard to tell so far), but Tom was so much more modest. Not that I hate Terry or anything, but his "boys only" clubhouse kind of annoys me. Though, to be fair, it's hard to say if that really is chavinism or because his female tribemembers left little to choose from. :dunno:

Good for Terry! It's a testament to his leadership skills that his tribe is lost without him and doesn't resent him for it.

Here comes more Casaya drama instigated by Shane! Crowd chanting: this is awesome!

Shane giving Danielle a hard time for not working around camp. Good. The more divisive that tribe becomes, the better. Cirie's lovin' it! Crowd chants: holy sh*t! holy sh*t!

Then Shane calls Cirie into it for her opinion. I really am starting to like Cirie more, although she will never live down her "fear of leaves" with me. :)

The 4 idiot alliances comes tumbling down. Next time (hopefully never) choose your alliances better Shane/Aras

They could drag a T-shirt along and catch fish ...

That would require some common sense

Fishing would be much easier if not for Sally, huh boys.

Oh man. La Mina can't even keep the fire going without Terry?

Bruce looked confused at Jiffy's remark there.

Ow, this challenge looks HARD!

Patience required...that leaves out Shane

A Survivor radio play-by-play man in press row: Since Terry found the idol, will they still give clues to others who are exiled? Otherwise wouldn't they know it's been found?

Maybe an untold twist will be more than one immunity idol?

Immunity challenge looks good. Balance beam, buckets of water, raise the person on the swing until they can release the flag.

Shane and Courtney are working well together?!!

Dan and Terry fell off.

Casaya wins immunity.

A die-hard Survivor fan outside the Reality TV Arena: How can such a moronic tribe win immunity twice in a row?

Terry and Dan falling off really made a difference I guess.

I think each team has an equal number of moronic players :)

Dan really blew the win

Does it ever stop raining in Panama?

It's all Sally's fault for losing the spear.

So how do you hide a head? :dunno:

A Nick fan in the skybox seats: Two hours? You'd think he'd say a little longer to make it sound like he didn't find it. Now I hope they get rid of Ruth Marie. Just not Sally :(

Well some of the folks on Casaya are hiding theirs up their butts.

Sally knows she's a marked woman.

Week 4 - The Verdict

A Survivor insider in press row: They're crazy to get rid of Sally. But sadly I think she's gone. It's making it too obvious that she's safe.

I think I figured out why I like Casaya better-it's less predictable over there than at La Mina.

Ruth Marie thinks she's safe since Dan gave his word. She should have asked for a pinkie swear. ;)

Sally gets in a dig at Dan for falling off, by pointing out that she didn't fall off the beam.

Hmmmm......Austin feels he lost the challenge by pouring the water too slowly.

Ruth Marie - the tribe will miss my sleestack face tomorrow.

Ruth Marie reminds everyone she's a very loyal person. (Which they won't be if they vote her off.) Crowd chants: WHAT?!

The back-stabbing tribe has spoken...Ruth Marie.

The girls vote for each other.

Jeff's tally:

Sally - 2
Ruth Marie - 4

A Sally fan in the upperdeck: Hmm, I guess Dan stuck with his promise. Anyway...:clapping: I'm glad to see Sally will be there another day.

Next week looks fun. Bruce has staked out a small patch of beach and Courtney decides she must exercise in that exact spot. Things look wet and miserable over at La Mina.

Jeff must have thought they made the right choice, because he didn't make one of his famous cutting jabs about it after she left. I don't know why they are so sure Sally will bale after the merge. She has no alliance with any of the other tribe members.

It's probably the Shii Ann manouver. If your own tribe doesn't want you, maybe the other side will.

Wow. Things are not looking good for the women. Four women left, 8 men left. The older women tribe is down to Cirie.

Casaya wins both reward and immunity this week. Terry found the idol.

Ruth marie did just as well in the water challenge. The deciding factor between the 2 should have been the loss of the spear. They are all bitching they haven't eaten in 11 days.

I really don't care that RM got the boot. At the start, I was hoping both she and Melinda would get booted quickly for being stupid and voting their most skilled members off. Boy that came back to haunt them both quickly, ha!

I'm sure Tina is laughing her butt of in Loser Lodge that they got voted out 2nd and 4th. They might have lasted longer if they had voted differently that first time. They couldn't have done any worse for themselves if they had kept Tina.

Ahh, cosmic payback--Survivor style. I love it

I hope keeping Sally won't come back to bite them in the butt. I think Ruth Marie would have been loyal to the end, I'm not so sure about Sally.

In the previews, Bruce says he'd rather be on Exile Island than there with Courtney.

A die-hard Survivor fan in the front row: Are all the people on this show alcoholics? They ALWAYS are happier about booze than food. Not just this group, all of them. It's not that I don't drink ever, but I certainly can do without it for months at a time, much less a few weeks. I just don't get it.

Good point. I enjoy a glass of wine now and then, but I'll bet you anything if I was on Survivor it would be food I'd be jonesing for.

Great - we may get to see drunk cast aways again! Crowd chants: holy sh*t! holy sh*t!

A drunk Shane might be entertaining!

Whoa, are we in Seattle or Panama?

Fish tossing and chopping?

We just need the Swedish Chef theme music from the muppets.

Week 5 - InGame Play By Play 2nd Period

I'll bet the producers screen for people who think this way. Drunk contestants are sure as heck a lot more fun to watch than sober ones!!!

Terry has the idol, not Bruce, and as far as we know, no one else knows that.

I suppose it's possible that Bruce could also have a different idol, if they replaced it, but if so they chose not to tell us.

It's unlikely as heck.

But it sure would be an interesting twist. "I have it!" "NO! I have it!" :roflmao:

Cirie is awesome in challenges.

Wow, neck and neck, and I thought La Mina was going to win easily.

Bobby is one bad-assed fish chopper :)

Whoa, Ninja Boy can't chop the head of a fish off?

Bobby might be a better butcher than lawyer with how he tore into those fish

Booby has some anger to vent. And no doubt another deuce to drop...

I still think this was the dumbest challenge ever for them to allow--the easiest to have a VERY bad accident with. Why would they EVER allow this challenge?

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. I can't believe how close some of these challenges have been.

Sally lost that one for them.

La Mina loses. Casaya wins reward. LOL! Terry back to Exile Island.

A Survivor TV analyst on press row: How stupid are these people to continue to give the same person over and over, the chance to find the idol?

We already know that it backfired on them, but.... if this is the man that you respect the most, you certainly don't want to give him the chance to automatically make the final four, do ya?

The only thing they could possibly do is turn around and vote him out the first chance they get so they can waste his immunity idol and then vote him out a second time the next week.

But that's not gonna happen.

So does Terry not even get a cup of beans before he has to go?

Can't wait to see drunk Casayans arguing. Oh, joy.

Haha. They now live in the middle of Lake Dumbass.

Damn... I didn't realize how far the reward challenges are from the camps. They won the challenge in the sun and by the time they get back to camp it's already flooded out? Crowd chants: holy sh*t! holy sh*t!

But they still have a rock garden...underwater.

Well, I guess Casaya doesn't have very good luck after all. Ah, an excuse to to get drunk! What's not to love about that? UNLUCKY!

Eating raw fish that has been in the heat for at least an hour, lovely...Crowd chanting: Oh my god!

A Survivor TV color commentator: Are they asking Bruce Chi for medical and health information again? The man who thinks you can clean bacteria out of water with towels?

Nick and Austin overdid it on the beans. Everybody stand back!

Oh, oh, forgot the Beano...:roflmao:

Sorry Dan but if only 2 are getting sick I doubt it was the cooking of the beans.

A die-hard Survivor fan in the Reality TV Bar: Drinkin' wine in the outhouse - reminds me of my youth.

So Bruce and Bobby are going to drink all the wine, not a good idea.

Tonight's episode brought to you by Pepto Bismol.

Maybe they should have taken the rice instead...

Crowd doing the Pepto Bismol dance: Acid, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, dirrahea...YAY! Pepto Bismol.

They ought to put some in their package whenever the food challenges are won.

sitting in the outhouse drinking wine...Crowd chants: WHAT?!

Do we call that "The Crapliance", because of where it appears to have been forged? (or maybe because of who is involved)

Looks like Cirie doesn't believe in knocking.

So the bean eaters get sick.
The raw fish eaters didn't. Crowd chanting: what was that?!

A Bruce fan in the upperdeck: I so agree with Bobby :)

Bobby is cooking his own goose. He had better hope they win the IC tonight.

There's no room in the shelter but there's room for two in the outhouse.

Ah, but the boys in the Crapliance are a close bunch. And just drunk enough to not mind the smell.

A Survivor insider on press row: Bobby was pretty insulting to Courtney just then. He feels bad about taking other people's share of wine but he doesn't feel bad about taking her share.

I love people who don't think of others and then get all pissy when someone acts the way they would if they had the chance :)

A die-hard Survivor fan in the skybox seats: Yeah, but she's an annoying thing. Even though she had a valid point, her whining puts people off....at least it does me!

Their only choice was to:

a. hang out with pieces of crap under a roof, surrounded by four solid, wooden walls; or else

b. hang out with pieces of crap ouside, under the stars, exposed to the elements.

I'd have picked the outhouse, too.

A Danielle fan in the lower bowl seats: Courtney tried to guilt trip Bobby about the wine and it didn't work. She is the most annoying person ever and needs a swift kick in the a$$

Have none of these people ever watched Survivor before??? You don't alienate others and you DONT drink the last bottle of wine or beer yourself, you share with all.

I'm glad Bobby didn't leave that aggravating spacegirl Courtney nothing to drink, although that probably puts a big X on his back from the idiot alliance she is in.

Okay, Exile boy doesn't seem to even need the others.

A coffin tree mail? Nice message.

Terry's back from Exile. Did you find the idol Terry? Again? :D

Hence the coffin tree mail, coffins in the water.

Immunity Challenge: underwater coffins and puzzle pieces.

It's skull, not skoal, Jiffy.

There seems to be a lot of strength challenges.

Dan bashes his noggin on the bottom of the boat. Ouch. Crowd chants: holy sh*t! holy sh*t!

He looks like a corpse in the water.

A Survivor radio insider on press row: I can't believe Danielle can actually dive right to the bottom, what with those floatation devices of hers.

Ah. La Mina gets in very early with their skulls. But they have two empty skulls working on the puzzle.

La Mina wins immunity. The IC scorecard: La Mina wins Weeks 2 and 5 while Casaya wins Weeks 3 and 4.

A Sally fan in the upperdeck: I say Courtney will get the boot tonight.

Based on how much airtime Bruce and Bobby have gotten and the fact that neither are part of the idiot alliance I am guessing one of them is going. The crowd doesn't want that.

But Bobby is handy in the challenges, Bruce is too at times...

A beer vendor in the lower bowl seats: So if they go with old alliances, then what's the order? Circe and then Bruce?

If they go by who annoys who, then Booby and then Bruce.

If they gang up on the self appointed leaders? InShane and then Bruce.

Am I missing other possibilities?

A Survivor photographer in the media gondola: I am betting Bobby...he used the outhouse as an outhouse, then drank the last bottle of wine. How dare he

Week 5 - Inside Tribal Council

I think Bobby knew his days were numbered, not being in the alliance, so he didn't care about drinking all the wine. But, we'll see.

Vote out Shane, he is the one who needs to go.

Cirie is laying low since they seem to have taken her off the chopping block in favor of Bruce.

A Cotton Candy vendor: Ugh. When did InShane become a "leader" of the tribe??? He's trying to command everyone to vote off Bobby.

From a purely selfish point of view I say they should KEEP Bobby and vote off InShane. I'd much rather look at Buff, Bright Bobby than Crazy, Hyperactive, Sunken-Chested InShane. :barf:

So is the kid swear a version of the pinky swear?

Ooh, Bruce is pissed. Courtney is so doing that on purpose. Crowd chanting: :wtf:

Bobby and Shane make an alliance for final 6 and swear on Shane's kid. Well, that seals it then. :-rofl-:

Does Shane know how to swear on anything besides his kid?

The girls are starting to revolt against Aras and want to vote Bobby out. Uhhhh......why not vote Aras out you bimbos?

Why does Ar-ass like Booby? What annoying manufactured drama.

Circie seems like she's in a good place.

InShane wants Booby to swear on HIS kid? Or does Booby have one?

Courtney and Bruce are both New Age fruit loops. Amazing they don't get along.

Daniellle is an idiot. Why rock the boat? What does she gain by this except paint herself as a troublemaker. I suppose Bruce might feel an obligation to her, but he's a nutbag. Will he even remember?

Arggh. Manufactured drama again. Who cares! :soapbox:

Shane can't vote for Bobby, he swore on his kid's life...and we all know that is a true swear :-rofl-:

Aras showed half a brain trying to keep Bobby knowing he needs him in the challenges (or perhaps to reteam the young guys at the merge?). That said, if he and Shane had a little bit more of a brain they would boot Danielle or Courtney who adds nothing to the group at all.

I know... Bobby and Bruce should have gone and woken everyone up and asked if it was okay if they drank some wine...

A Terry fan in the upperdeck: Hey BRUCE -- the more you flap your jaw, the less I like you. I couldn't stand you to start with, and now I really, really think you suck!

Well, I think Aras is acting like an ass...

Jiffy's asking the tough questions. And Aras is still backing Bobby. I don't get it.

Week 5 - The Verdict

Get rid of the psycho...

Bruce looked like he was about to cry during that little speech.

Finally a reason not to waste a vote on Bruce, he might have the idol.

Bruce votes for Courtney. Aras votes for Bruce.

A La Mina fan in the skybox seats: Bruce and Courtney can go suck on the same egg.

Actually, I hate each and every person on this tribe. Danielle is close to the top of the crap pile, but it's still just crap sitting on crap. They all suck SO bad.

It's funny Aras doesn't trust Bruce, it's Shane who will bite him in the ass...

A Survivor fan outside the Reality TV Arena: Jeff's going a little too heavy on the Gredian Forumula these days.

The Probst Tally:

Courtney - 1
Bruce - 2
Bobby - 3
Aras - 1

:-rofl-:

Who didn't know how to spell Bobby correctly...wanna bet it was Courtney? :)

Shane voted for Aras (I just know it) Now he can say he kept his word. What an A** Crowd chanting: bullsh*t as Bobby leaves.

I bet this will come back to bite 'em.

Didn't Shane swear on his kid that Bobby wouldn't get voted off? :dunno:

A Shane fan in the upperdeck: I can't stand Shane to save my life but he can be slightly entertaining. I wonder who voted for Aras. That was an interesting vote, to say the least. I like it when they're all over the place. :-rofl-: Crowd boos that Shane survives another week.

A Survivor TV play-by-play man: Shane made the comment his was a throw away vote. That is why I am saying he voted for Aras.

Bobby gets to go drop his deuces in Loser Lodge.

That voting was all over the place! Crowd chanting: What was that?!

Oh sure...NEXT week the women want InShane out.
Day late...dollah short.

Week 5 - After the Game PostMortem

Well, La Mina wins immunity after a 2-game losing streak.

Bruce and Bobby go overboard with wine.

Casaya voted out Bobby which could prove to be a big mistake. They had a chance to vote out Shane, but he is still hanging around. If they lose, they need to vote off Shane as soon as possible. Courtney also has a target on her back because she rarely contributes. Bruce and Bobby are their strong links and now with Bobby gone, Bruce is their only strength. And Cirie is also targeted as the weak link, but contributes in challenges.

Shane is still the ultimate, quality heel, but I could also see Courtney as the female heel due to her bickering. We'll see as the story unfolds.

We'll see what happens next week as the girls from Casaya gang up on Shane.

Over at La Mina, Terry was sent to Exile Island again. Why would Casaya do that? That's another bone head move. Dan survived a head injury during the immunity challenge.

The wickest part tonight: Two people gettin' sick after eating beans and two people didn't after eating raw fish. holy toledo. That is just flat-out crazy.

I'm getting a feeling that La Mina will dominate next week and win both reward and immunity with Shane getting the boot. Eventually I think Bruce switches over to the men alliance on La Mina if he makes it to the merge.

Personally, I wouldn't give a crap if someone nuked Casaya Beach while Bruce was on Exile Island.

Also, a screw up on the preview from last week. They showed the rock garden incident in the preview but once it got to IC, you knew La Mina was winning because they didn't air the Bruce-Courtney incident and they only air footage from the losers after the IC is over.

Bad episode all around from Bruce though. First not helping with the fire, then not being able to chop the fish, then drinking the wine. He needs a merge bad.

Crowd filing inside the Reality TV Arena...

I am still amazed that the bean eaters were sick, and the fish eaters were not.

Hardly seems fair, does it?

I'll bet the air around the fish eaters smelled a lot better!!

A Bruce fan in the upperdeck wired for sound: I hate even seeing replays of inShane. Urp.

A Survior insider inside the media gondola: Watching Bobby leave was just as satisfying the second time.

Mark Burnett is a genius when it comes to casting. He knows who to pick for entertainment value!

Wow, Shane really is InShane!

Didn't have long to wait for tonight's installment of Shane-drama, did we?
Crowd chanting: SHUT THE F UP to Shane.

It would almost be worth getting kicked off the show, just to SMACK Shane upside the head and shut him up.

"Manic-Crazy Spams?"

Hee.

That's Inshane! Totally InShane!

Another Survivor fan in the Reality TV Bar: I don't like Shane at all but I am glad that he is getting on Danielle's nerves who I might like only slightly more than Shane.

I vote him, "Most Likely to Continue to Make Embarrassing or Tragic Headlines After Survivor: Panama - Exile Island Wraps."

A Cirie fan in the lower bowl seats: Cirie is the only sane minded person on that tribe. Go Cirie! Stir that pot of resentment! I know some of you don't care for Cirie, but I like the woman. She is playing the game and stirring up alliances.

A Tina fan in the upperdeck: I still don't like Circie, because she's been so snickery and smarmy since the beginning, but I'm hoping she gets Shane out just because his amusement value is about over on this show.

A Misti fan in the front row: That blonde chick (Courtney??)makes me sick.

It's fun watching the chicks on Survivor say all the same snarky stuff about InShane that we're saying in here!!!

foreshadowing they definetly are getting rid of him. Which means he's here for the long haul

I love watching Cirie laugh from the sidelines!

Another die-hard Survivor fan in the Reality TV Bar: Please let Casaya go to TC tonight and vote off Shane, but knowing our luck it won't happen and then the merge will hit :(

Those beans look like cooked bugs.

Gender revolt on BOTH tribes, eh?

That's InShane!

Another Cirie fan in the upperdeck: Cirie is fast becoming my favorite. I love how she's laughing at them! It cracks me up.

Awwww - hellno! I could not eat a minnow.

A Survivor insider on press row: Cirie got on my bad side to start with, but she is now my favorite. I kinda like Dan too, Sally is okay and so is Nick. Don't really dislike Terry, but he does seem too cocky. Um, Austin, I guess he's okay too. Danielle doesn't bother me as much as some of the rest of us here.

Aw, poor baby fishies, eaten alive. Ha ha, tastes awful. Snerk.

Austin says the minnows taste awful. They're so tiny I can't even believe they have a taste.

The guys are searching in the water for little fishes, and all they can find are teensy, tiny little creatures that look a lot more like snot than fish.

A Bruce fan in the upperdeck: Dan, shut up about your secret. he's just begging to go with that

Dan is cooking his goose with his astronaut talk. Not a good idea.

A Survivor TV color commentator on press row: Yeah, why would a good player EVER out himself as an astronaut? They are perceived as already successful. Most have PhDs. So you are revealing yourself as probably not needing money and as very smart?

Guess this PhD isn't thinking.

Shane needs to get the camera on him again, he's been quiet for 2 episodes. Time for another phony freak out from the would-be actor

Cirie is standing back and letting the tribe disinegrate.

Shane's a nut. He knows Bobby was voted out because the gals didn't like him, so Shane's strategy is to make the gals dislike him.

A Survivor fan outside the Arena: Shane is right about worthless Danielle and Courtney voting Bobby out because they didn't like him. There was no strategy to that vote other than the fact that they didn't like him.

True, but his strategy of antagonizing them is even worse, unless of course he's just looking for an exit. Which with him? Very possible.

Those 2 women are on such a power trip it is crazy. Why do they think they hold all the cards???

lol at Shane calling anyone else a meatball! "She's a meatball."

The drama between Shane, Courtney, and Danielle is so fake. Now Aras wants out. The ladies will probably stick together and the guys on Casaya will be fighting to get them on their side. Shane seems pretty confident. Crowd chanting: holy sh*t!

Shane just needs a smoke (or maybe it's "a hit") and wants to get back to the stash he left in his luggage back in Sequesterville.

Dan has a target on his back because even if he's not strong he's probably smarter than 90% of them there, and even if he isn't, they'd assume he is and vote him off before he can get too close to the end. If they are smart that is...

So basically the whole premise of Survivor should be that the poorest and dumbest person must win... :)

I think Shane has the "serial killer" look about him. I would not want to meet up with him in a dark alley.

Shane's so delusional "Those two are the only ones who have a problem with it" (his condescending attitude) Crowd chanting: a****le towards Shane.

It's only fair that the girls gang up, the guys were ganging up on them from the beginning.

Oooohhh.....scary tree mail. :D

Two for the price of one!

Why, why, why is Courtney even talking to him, just tell him his is out.(I didn't hear her said she was done with him just heard Danielle)

Duh, Shane you don't want to be in a alliance who vote based on personal feelings and you just admitted to Aras you don't like either girl. That's not a personal feeling?????

Oh, yeah, Aras if someone does something stupid why analyze it with him, it sounds as if you are trying to keep him in the alliance.

Bet John Nash never foresaw this in his game theories.

Actually, the REAL winner could be the one who best PRETENDS to be poor and dumb, but isn't, since they usually have to turn around and become smart near the end .

Immunity so early, before reward?

Crop circles!

Today's challenge is for both reward and immunity!

Reward is a barbecue.

double tribal? WHAT?! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

Person going to Exile Island is immune tonight. I love how they're changing things up a bit each week. Crowd chants: THIS IS AWESOME!

The winner can sooo screw up the other tribe if they have any idea who is a weak person on the tribe, they could protect him/her.

That wasn't an accidental collision

They're gonna protect useless shane or sally

Dan and Sally are pre-strategizing on solving their puzzle once they get their pieces. Are Cirie and Bruce?

Cheap plastic American toys for Poor Panamanian kiddies!

Interesting twist in the Exile sequester. Basically it means the winners can choose either the weakest or the perceived trouble-maker/outsider to stay and be safe. Assuming they can figure the politics on the other team, that is.

Or just send the same two guys who have gone before figuring to stay with the pattern.

This puzzle is complicated.

Week 6 - InGame Play By Play 3rd Period

The women on Casaya need to send Sally, so that they can keep the gender thing going.

To do that, they'd have to understand that's she's even at risk. Or that there are gender alliance lines on the other tribe as well. How would they know?

And...

They must somehow know. I wonder who told them?

Not really, they just need to know she's the only woman left. I think they noticed last week what was happening on La Mina.

LaMina is losing this for themselves.

Uh oh-- will Nasa end up looking like MENSA

How can such a loser tribe like Casaya work so well together? Who will they send to Exile Island?

It does. Usually I hate the puzzle challenges but I like this one.

Casaya wins. Big surprise. Who knew that going to Exile would be so good :) Sally doesn't look too happy. She's safe, right?

My guess is Sally to exile

A peanut vendor: It's going to be 6-4 on the tribes. I was hoping they'd even them up to 5-5. Sally is in Exile Island :-po'd-:

A Beer vendor: Yay, I'm glad they chose Sally. Both my office poll picks are safe for one more week

They chose well, now the boys can cannibalize each other.

OMG Shane slobbered his foul breath on Cirie's face

A Survivor radio insider in the media gondola: If Danielle and Courtney pushed for Sally that would have been smart because if they can get her to the merge they have to know she will join back up with them. I suspect that wasn't the strategy however, probably just wanted to make them lose another guy by protecting her.

La Mina sucks. On paper they should be the best tribe, but they just can't get it together.

I am figured Sally because she was the last female left and the males on Casaya don't want physical threats when they merge.

Dan's Ph.D certainly came in handy that challenge. Can't believe what a couple of dumbells he and Sally were, trying to solve it. They should have been looking at it the whole time pieces were being collected so they had an idea of what needed to go where. Same stupid mistakes they did with the water puzzle challenge they lost a few weeks ago.

Sally would have been gone in tribal council if they hadn't sent her.

Another Bruce fan in the lower bowl seats: Just tell him he swore on his son's life to leave you alone.

I disagree about Dan. Both Nick and Austin are young enough to be impressed in a hero worship way about this. Dan knew it would either be him or Sally if they lost the IC and this stacked the odds in his favor. Now unless Sally gets individual immunity - she is gone.

La Mina seems doomed, but who knows what will happen after the merge! There are currently NO alliances on Casaya (save Danielle/Courtney). Cirie, Bruce, Aras, Shane - any one of them might jump over to the other side. Courtney and Danielle might align with Nick and Austin (and Terry :) ) and vote out Shane, for being an ass.

We can only hope.

It will be ineresting if the merge comes and La Mina is 3 male 1 female, and Casaya is opposite!

Poor Sally might even find the right place but never know the immunity Idol had even been there!

Ah. Time for petty InShane people to give cheap plastic toys to poor kids who'd prefer candy or food or money.

Hey, Hula hoops are the hot fitness craze... :)

Ok let us see how many of Casaya is sick tonight.

I like the 4 guys on La Mina. I don't want any of them to leave.

Whose stomach will revolt from all this rich food? Ok its not rich but they are not used to it. The outhouse is gonna get alot of use tonight :)

Hee. Shane gets some nicotine!

InShane bartered with a local who was smoking so that the local guy would give him a cigarette.

Now all InShane needs for his reward to be completely perfect is for a local heroin addict to show up with some smack, a spoon, a rubber band, and a rusty old needle.

He's getting quite a buzz off that cigarette.

Although the thought of him naked....yikes doesn't even describe it. So finally, Shane has smokes.

What a @%^wad, Shane is.

He's just getting the monkey onto his back again without a way to continue it. He was probably somewhat detoxed from it by now and whoops! Gone.

Courtney and Danielle are a couple of real dumb bunnies, aren't they?

And... Bruce Chi is still looking to chop off heads.

I think Bruce is frightening the children. I hope the kids are out of the room.

Week 6 - Inside Tribal Council

I hope Courtney and Danielle are just playing along to keep the peace. If they really are that dumb they deserve what happens.

A Danielle fan in the luxury suites: Courtney is, but I can't believe Danielle is. If she is, then I lose any respect that I have left for her. Courtney will just go along with the crowd and believe all is well if that's what they tell her

Casaya needs to get their act together, or one by one, they are out.

I noticed Shane was smoking again while they were dancing around, so I wonder if he bummed ciggies from every smoker he saw? Probably so.

I think Courtney MIGHT be that dumb, but I think Danielle is probably just playing along. Make the looney happy until you get an opportunity to boot him.

Um...did the guys make any suggestions on how to put the puzzle together?

Dan should have kept quiet for a few more days, now the NASA engineer is going to cost him.

Well astronaut guy is going to regret sharing with the mere mortals.

Dan has not come through on any of the challenges.

No way. No freakin' way is Dan going to survive tonight. It won't be 2 v 2.

The guys are talking about kicking Dan in the astronaut. Terry, Dan's first pal, is turning on his pal.

A cotton candy vendor: I think Dan is gone. I wonder if anyone else would have been any better at solving it. But of course, Dan couldn't have collected the puzzle pieces.

Oh, as I figured, Terry is going to dump Dan. :( Now, if they merge, won't Aras join back up with Nick and Austin, and Terry will be odd-man=out? Immunity will only save him once.

At least Terry is being upfront out the vote. Shows true character.

At least Dan's not trying to make Terry feel guilty.

Well this is certainly been unsuspenseful. Hopefully something exciting happens in the last few minutes. Wasn't this supposed to be the tribal council we'd have to see to believe?

I respect Space Ghost for stepping up and not making Terry feel bad about doing the right decision in terms of La Mina's strength going forward. He's a stand up guy, just not very good at the challenges.

Okay, these guys are even nicer than I thought. Unlike the loonies on Casaya.

Terry thinks he's "tribe manager"?

That's the funniest thing yet to come from this relatively boring tribe.

Put it on his resume: Tribe Manager

I hear them talk about how Sally's the weak link. She's not the strongest but I don't consider Dan any stronger than her.

Editors not showing us any of the votes tonight.

The tally:

Dan - 3
Austin - 1

I wish Dan would have made it to the jury. Bummer.

And the other guys look like their brother died.

I give them all credit, these men were very honest with each other and didn't turn and make rude comments towards each other.

Not a shocking tribal council. Actually, very predictable.
The wife looked kind of geeky.

It's a shame this tribe isn't doing better. They're much more likeable than the wackos at Casaya.

A Survivor radio play-by-play man in the media gondola: I'm disappointed with alot of these survivors. What is up with resiging themselves to the (possible) inevtible? NEVER stop plugging away to stay in the game. It's not over until you've gotten the majority of the votes. Ruth Marie, Bobby, Dan... they all knew they were going and just took their lumps rather than scheme, plot, beg or do anything to find another target. In a way, it's almost as bad as quitting when you don't put much (or any) effort into trying to change the outcome.

So "Salvation and Desertion" refers to Sally and Dan respectively. I was hoping Terry would need to pull out the immunity idol.

Announcer promises us some shock and awe next week. I'll believe it when I see it. :-rofl-:

On Paper, La Mina supposed to be the better tribe, but Casaya is the one who won both Immunity and reward challenges.

Dan talking about his NASA gig proved to be a big mistake and he was voted out. At least, he was very classy in defeat and the men of La Mina respected each other.

Casaya has to be one of the wackiest tribes in Survivor history. Cirie is just sitting back and let the other girls get under Shane's skin.

I wonder what will happen with the two tribes in these next three-four weeks as Survivor takes a break for the NCAA tournament.

Hmmm. It seems to me that Terry revealed himself to be a Yankees fan, with his remark about being Joe Torre and having to make a decision for the good of the team to send Dan to the showers. Good ep. Once again Mark Brunett has a trick up his sleeve. Was there any doubt once Probst said that the person going to Exile Island could not be voted off, it was going to be Sally?

That was the ONLY scenario where that twist would really have a huge effect.

The most dysfunctional team continues to win. Merge the teams now. There are so many dynamics that could come from a merge, there's no need to hold off on it. Don't be fooled in the least by Shane making up with Danielle and Courtney. That will last 5 minutes since he doesn't have any more smokes.

We might actually have an interesting merge. I feel like in the last couple seasons there has been a dominant alliance that has picked off players one by one. I really don't see a strong unit like that so it could get interesting.

Last season there was a dominant alliance into the merge, but the alliance didn't hold up, which made it a very fun season to watch. This season is even better, because both alliances have taken big hits before the merge. Casaya's "alliance"(using the term loosely) is not going to hold as long as Shane is part of it. Now La Mina's 4 guys have lost one of theirs.

Individually, Terry is a big threat since he has a free pass for one vote. If he wins individual immunties on top of that, he really will not need an alliance to coast to the final 4. While Shane is an obvious target, he could be that guy that everyone wants to sit next to in the final 2 seats. Cirie may be the forgotten one until she sneaks into the final 4.

There's really a good case for everyone left as to why they could make it to the final 4 or 2. It will be a fun wide-open race.

They also need to remember they will be voting off jury members.

Ah, tribal unity . . . for as long as the feast lasts! :D Crowd chanting: WHAT WAS THAT?!

Did you all notice Shane said the shelter "they are building" not him.

Hee. Shane doesn't think Terry has the idol. What a maroon.

What the hell is Terry doing? I thought he was smarter than that.

Terry need to shut up!!!! He is offering most the same deal. They are going to talk.

Cirie and Shane aren't exactly jumping on Terry's bandwagon.

WOW! I like the Immunity necklace.

Time for individual immunity. Endurance challenge. Hanging upside down like a monkey! Yowza!

WHAT?! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

Who will be first off? Blond chick, probably.

Even if the minority has two immunities, this is STILL taking us into predictible Pagong territory. Nobody is going to flip until MAYBE the very last person is left from the minority.

Oh lordy.... some of them have their face in the next person's ass. That could be deadly.

I wonder if Exile Island will still play a part in this? I would think they'd have to, but not sure how that will play out.

Preditions about who will fall first, who last.

I'm guessing Cirie first, um, last ... . just to be different, Nick.

The way this is setup, it would be very easy to kick someone in the head as you fall.

A Survivor fan in the skybox seats: I'd be so bad at this. My arms are very weak and I'd end up hanging by my legs and then falling and breaking my neck.

Cirie first out.

I'm surprised YogaBoy Aras slipped off so fast, he should have been able to keep his muscles in check.

Aras out next, then Bruce, then Sally. Shane begs for cheeseburgers.

It looks like a giant pig roast with all of them hanging there. Just light a fire under them.

Shane, Danielle, Courtney now out. 3 guys left.

A Survivor writer on press row: what would happen if they dropped together at the same exact time?

Terry proves he is the toughtest one there.

Terry wins immunity... he needed it. This way he didn't have to waste the idol. Smart move.

because it means just one more week he doesn't have to dig out his idol

There goes Shane's plan...Terry is there for one more week.

Terry COULD offer up one of his immunities for a price...

..but he won't.

What he's going to do now is try and win immunity as many weeks as possible.

That would be the smart thing to do and I wouldn't be surprised if he could pull it off.

A beer vendor in the upperdeck: I got the best twist....
whomever is voted out gets to decide who goes next to Exile Island.

They better start re-thinking the "I'm safe where i'm at" strategy. Way to go Terry. That's just a preview of the IC to come now that he doesn't have teammates dragging his efforts to win down.

As soon as Terry doesn't win immunity, he's out, and this way he ensures it's one of his buddies going home. Unless he can somehow swing the numbers. It's everyone for themselves after the merge.

A Survivor TV color commentator on press row:
Terry should have let one of the other two guys win the challenge, and used his immunity. That way, it would have been one of the other tribe members to get the boot (since it goes to the one with the second highest number of votes, right?) It's unlikely, that Terry will go far enough the way the numbers are now to use his hidden immunity idol to make it to the final four. That's just my own opinion.

A cotton candy vendor in the lower bowl seats: Oh I hope Shane does something offensive before tc to remind them why they all hated him yesterday. I want him off. He drives me nuts.

Another Survivor fan in the upperdeck: If Terry had let Austin or Nick win Immunity, he could have gotten the numbers on his side. Now one of his team will be voted out. His group could have targeted anyone he wanted, like Shane, and the next highest votes would go. THAT is the real power of the immunity idol this season.

Terry also knows at this point that the only way he will EVER swing the numbers is to let his teammates be silently eliminated until he is the sole one left and becomes the swing vote for the power blocks in the other tribe.

Week 7 - Inside Tribal Council

Why does Austin think he's on the chopping block. Nick lasted longer. Hmmm, Austin claims he was putting on a performance of weakness.

Oh, it would be so so lovely if Shane were sent home and never went to jury.

A Survivor fan outside the Reality TV Arena: Can't Terry still offer his immunity to one of his other teammates at TC? Then when they try to vote him off instead, he whips out his idol. So then both are safe this week.

Huh? No way. If he'd given an Immunity to a teammate then what would have happened is that a THIRD member of his team would have gone instead.

It was a no-win scenario.

The only possible use of the extra immunity is, as he said, as a bribe to someone on the other team. But even then it's a long shot, because people lie.

Austin's strategy is to pretend to be weak.

Nick is already finding Shane annoying. Crowd chanting: SHANE SUCKS!

Unfortunately, Nick will probably not be around to find him annoying any longer.

What does that tattoo say on Shane's chest? It looks like "Dumbass"...

Shane is going to get his when he least expects it.
Did I miss Sally swinging all ready? She has to realize she will be on the chopping block soon.

A Bruce fan in the upperdeck: Oh please let Bruce and Cirie vote with the La Mina folks.

(I'm dreaming, I know.)

Jeff normally asks the immunity winner if he wants to give his immunity to someone else. He gives it to Austin... then Shane and his team decide to vote out Terry. All of Terry's team votes off Shane... all of Shane's team votes off Terry. Terry whips out the idol... Shane gets booted.

Voila! (But it won't happen.)

A Survivor radio insider on press row: If the person gives up the Immunity then that person is on the block too, so that senario will not work. Good thinking though :)

SHUT UP AUSTIN! What a numbskull!

Week 7 - The Verdict

Austin is a moron. He just solidified his vote. dumbass

Austin votes for Shane. Courtney votes for Nick.

Sally did flop.....dumb move right now.

Courtney voted for Nick. Does that mean all of Casaya voted for Nick?

Did Bruce flip?

Mr. Probst's tally:

Shane - 4
Nick - 6

Nick is out. Crowd chanting: bullsh*t! And they're pouring beer on Shane.

Figures...so close to getting rid of that worm

What did Nick throw? Cirie caught it. Was it intended for her?

If we only knew for sure, the 2nd highest would be voted off, then this would have been the ideal time to have given Nick the idol.

Hmmm, interesting that they'd use the immunity idol after the vote! So if Nick had it, then I'm assuming the next highest vote getter would have been out.

For all the b*tching and moaning Courtney and Danielle do about Shane, they could have gotten rid of him right then and there and still kept the numbers on their side. They get what they deserve in the future.

What a boring episode.

Crowd not too happy tonight as some of the fans blurt out expletives at Shane. And the crowd is chanting: SLUT! at Courtney.

But not knowing if it was Nick or Austin, good thing Terry kept the idol.

Shane is gonna throw a temper tantrum for having 4 votes against him next week.

Nick did not make jury

Terry is telling about the idol on the next episode. That's crazy...

Terry also ensured he's got one less friend on the jury. Not getting this strategy.

Crowd also not happy about the move involving The Amazing Race.

If Terry had feigned needing to drop, then Casaya would have most likely voted for him. If he gives up the immunity, either obviously dropping or giving it away at tribal, they would be morons (which I realize is possible) to vote for Terry, because it would "show" he has the other idol to be able to "give up" the individual.

Don't get me wrong, going on a immunity tear and holding it could be the way to make final two for him. But say he has to use it next week. He uses it, but is still down in numbers. This week he could have shifted the numbers.

That's my point, I guess.

And Wow, Nick is a class act. Nice closing.

Week 7 - PostMortem

Wow, a merge after a 2-week layoff.

Terry wins immunity, Nick is goin' home.

I don't see why Terry wouldn't have given Nick the idol. it makes perfect sense. Then Shane would go. They should have just shuffled the idol between the tribe. At tribal council if one tribe member is in trouble give it to him, i.e. as jeff is reading the votes, terry gives the idol to nick, and shane is gone. and repeat.

I just found an article on MSNBC which confirms this. It would have indeed happened that way and I'm supposing that Terry didn't understand that (after all, most of us didn't).

Then again, things STILL could have gone wrong. Giving away an immunity is suspicious. They would have smelled a rat and shifted to another person anyway the moment he did so--supposing he'd only give away an immunity if he had one already.

What he NEEDED to do was let a teammate win the regular immunity and then PURPOSEFULLY draw voting fire to himself by acting like an ass. This is only just now clear to me, so it's no surprise Terry didn't see this in time.

The only reasoning could be that terry didn't want to expose he had the idol, but even so they are way down in the numbers.

We don't know when Terry is telling about the idol. If he is telling after he lost a immunity challenge, it is smart. They won't vote for him, he won't have to use it.

Terry needs to keep winning immunities until the Final Two and win the numbers game. He needs to keep his mouth shut about the idol though.

Courtney and Danielle had a chance to vote off their enemy Shane, but failed. That will backfire.

Classy act by Nick with his confessional after being voting out. Good sport.

The best thing for Terry to do now is let them know he has it. That way if he wins the necklace, all of Casay has no idea if or who he may give the HI to. The vote would be all over the place and then the 3 remaining La Mina, along with Bruce could target Shane or Aras. Unfortunatly its all too complicated and I can't imaging Terry would be so foolish to give up the HI on a risky plan. He'd be putting himself at risk unneccessarily. With or without the numbers, he is safe as long as he has the necklace or the shrunken head to use when he doesn't have the necklace. It's every man for himself now.

The vote tonight was surprising in its predictability. I thought maybe someone would make a switch, but both alliances stuck with their team. It will be interesting to see who makes the switch as ultimately to make it to the final 4 someone will need to switch sides. The girls could still decide to ban together which wouldn't be a bad idea.

It looks like Terry tells Sally he has the II next week. I would think it would be wiser not to let anyone know he has it and to continue to plug away to see if he can get anyone to come to his team's side. If he makes it to the finals he could then whip it out.

So Terry could pass around the idol or does he have to give it to someone BEFORE Tribal Council? That is very confusing. He must of had his reasons for not passing the HI along.

The other thing that gave things away for me tonight (once we reached TC) was a preview clip (of the next epsiode of futrue episodes) after the Clip Show that aired 2 Weds ago, that showed Shane saying "let's turn this game!". They ask before the vote if the person with II would like to save someone else or if they want to hold onto it. If he did give up the II to Nick then my guess is they would then have voted off Austin (who is an awful strategist :o) or Sally. They stuck together as an alliance of 6 so I don't think it would ultimately have saved anyone on his team. It also would have been a dead giveaway that he found the other II on Exile Island as no one is going to save someone else at risk to themselves .

If I have the whole II thing straight I think he was smart to keep it to himself, but it looks like he opens his yap next week. I probably would have opted to keep my mouth shut until I had no choice. I hope it doesn't hurt him as he is one of my faves. I have to admit that overall this isn't the most likeable group. :D

And I hate when they give too much info away in previews. :(

I definitely understand Terry not handing over his regular I-Idol.

It's definitely a new twist and strategy in this game when to play the idol. At this point I would keep my mouth shut too about the HI. Terry doesn't even need numbers. Every immunity challange he wins is essentially a 2-week immunity. But I guess he lets the cat out of the bag next week.

He can hand over the one from Exile Island after the vote which is great. If he is voted out he can then show the II and the survivor with the next highest votes automatically goes. That could be a huge shock.

I would guess he is going to use the II as a bargaining chop of sorts next week. It could work or it could backfire. It will definitely be interesting to see. It's a powerful weapon if used correctly.

I forgot...if these people are stupied enough to let an asshat like Shane make it to the finals they deserve what they get. They could have dumped him and still kept the numbers on their side. I don't want to hear Courtney complain about him anymore. :barf:

Another chance for Courtney and Danielle to gang up on Shane and vote him out, but they failed again.

That's what I thought he would do by not saving Nick, but next week he apparently doesn't keep quiet. He could just use the strategy of just winning challenges and use his free pass the week he loses. Then he doesn't need numbers.

BB brought up the point we don't know if its before or after the immunity challenge. My guess is he wouldn't give it up, unless he wins immunity again. He probably could run the table on challenges or go 6-1, but they probably have one of those dreaded challenges where other players can "eliminate" an individual. (i.e. first person to have their target hit 3 times). I hate those types of challenges as it favors an alliance with numbers and involves no real skill.

Its an absolutely genius move. For example if they try to vote out Terry or Austin, Terry can say he is gonna give the immunity to Austin if he gets voted out. Therefore, the person with the second greatest amount of votes would get voted off (so, Shane perhaps)

So we could have a scenario where the six in power, split their votes between Terry and Austin (3 votes each) and Sally, Terry, and Austin pick Shanne (3 votes). It would be 3 votes between 3 people. The H-idol never even has to be used. Just the threat of it makes them split votes. Could be interesting.

split votes is a bad thing. if its 3/3/3 after 2 votes, the rules say that those 3 are immune, and the remaining members havee to randomly choose a rock out of a bag, if they get the purple one, they are toast. Its happened before

I thought they do the "build a fire" tiebreaker. If it is in fact a rock, that's even better. That would be enough to scare someone like Bruce into flipping just to avoid a rock scenario.

no, the build a fire tiebreaker was done because there were only 2 people left on that tribe. Since their votes cancelled each other out, they needed a tiebreaker game, Yoou are right though, the tie does scare the shI1 out of people. its happened very very few times

Crowd filing inside the Reality TV Arena...

I can't wait to see what Terry's strategy will be tonight.

A Survivor fan in the upper deck wired for sound: I really wish they'd show the full opening credits like they used to!

I had to laugh at the recap face of Austin.. "Oh Sh*t", when he shot his mouth thinking it was him going home and it was Nick instead

I loved everyone's faces when the dummy told them that he was acting weak.

Crowd chanting: holy sh*t!

Hey, how did they pick teams?! That was some choppy editing.

Danielle doesn't have room to carry more coconuts.

Crowd chanting: VOTE OFF SHANE to Danielle.

Reward challenge: load the other teams' boats with coconuts. Paddle out, retrieve flag and fish net, bring all coconuts back to your mat.

A Survivor insider in the media gondola: Why is Aras calling Austin a slimeball? Aras is such a clueless moron. How did he get this far in life? Crowd chanting: WHAT WAS THAT?! to Aras.

The team of Danielle, Courtney & Cirie were screwed from the start.

The team of Bruce, Aras & Sally wins the breakfast reward and the choice of who goes to Exile Island.

Shane really needs to keep the legs of his shorts pulled down! Crowd booing Shane.

Sally forgot the flag.

Bruce, Aras, Sally. If only one of them had a plan.

Week 8 - InGame Play By Play 2nd Half

Danielle's gotta be pissed Aras picked her. Too bad she won't be mad enough to make a deal with Austin to stick with Terry, Sally and him. She doesn't have the brains or the guts.

Doesn't Shane remind you of Christopher Lloyd's character Rev. Jim from Taxi?

Yes. :roflmao:

Winning that challenge exposed... wit?

What is this idiotic thing Aras keeps doing with his hair? He looks like a 4yr old making a mohawk when he shampoo his hair.

Come to think of it, Aras is an idiot, it must be his head that's got a point, not his hair

The breakfast is hampered by nasty weather. Crowd chanting: holy sh*t!

At least Aras has the sense to realize that winning the reward is going to put a target on his back. Too bad he relized too late.

Great idea. Setup a bed in a storm.

Why would these idiots admit who they're booting to the enemy?

Terry is trying to ascertain the final 4 from Shane, so he can find out which 2 Casayans are lowest on the totem pole. But Aras previously warned Shane and the rest of them not to give out any info.

I feel for them, wouldn't want to be outside right now.

Oh great, come back and describe all the food they ate at the reward to the survivors left back at camp.

Austin and Danielle to clinging together under a blanket in the storm on Exile Island. Hmmm, may make for a quick bond!

Danielle now thinks if her regular alliance ever falls apart she can use Austin as a Plan B.

Why isn't Austin trying to sway Danielle to switch alliances?

Shane told Terry who he thinks the final four will be: Shane, Aras, Danielle and Cerie. Was he just making that up for Terry's sake, or is that who he really wants to go to final four with?

I would think that's the truth. Bruce is the lowest man on that totem pole, and Shane really hates Courtney.

That was a weird reward. A canopy bed set on a sandbar in the pouring rain. Cirie looked like she wanted to hurt somebody, listening to them talk about the food.

Stupid Shane gave Terry a little info. Not too bright, Shane.

A Survivor fan in the upper deck: So are we going to see the dramatic stretcher evacuation this week? What happened to that? Did I totally miss a dramatic stretcher evacuation last week? I need some action - this is getting stale. Someone shake things up!!!!! Why is Shane still there?

Never thought i'd be so happy to be in bed with 2 strange men :roflmao: very funny confessional from Sally

Terry could have slipped someone the idol last week, too...

I wonder why Sally thinks Terry would give immunity to either her or Austin.
He didn't give it to Nick :dunno:

Week 8 - InGame Play By Play Extra Time

Terry confesses to Sally that he found the idol in the first 20 minutes.

The Exiles return.

A brain teaser? Where's Steph? :dunno:

Immunity Challenge is a 4-part obstacle course. 3 people will be out after stage 1, another 3 will be out after stage 2.

Aras screwed that up pretty badly.

Aras, Bruce & Cirie are all out after round 1.

Poor Cirie never had a chance!

Courtney, Danielle, & Shane are out after stage 2.

I love how it's Ausitn, Sally and Terry!

This bridge looks pretty tricky.

Now Austin is out. The final is between Sally & Terry. That Sally is tough.

Terry should give it to Sally.

Terry wins immunity once again. By a nose. Crowd chanting: TERRY! TERRY! TERRY!

Will he give up the idol or sacrifice yet another ally?

I guess he doesn't want to use his immunity idol yet.
I'm assuming he can only use it once and it's still fairly early in the game to use it.

Man, Sally fought hard!

That was a tough challenge.

A Survivor TV analyst in the media gondola: I'm really impressed with Sally, she totally rocked and lost by a hair. I didn't think she was capable of such an effort.

A Sally fan in the front row: Sally was kicking some ass there! Terry wins yet again, and Austin was the only one clapping for him.

A cotton candy vendor in the upper deck: I can't believe Terry told Sally about the idol. What an idiot. It had no strategic value, it was just bragging. Now she can use the information against him. If she told anyone on the other team, they could target Terry on purpose, force him to use the idol but already have a backup plan and vote Austin out anyway.

This was perfect for Terry to win, he can give up his immunity at the last second. Terry is gonna tell the other tribe he found immunity, and tells them not to vote for either one of his teammates. Perfect

Week 8 - Inside Tribal Council

I'd love to see Terry give the idol to Sally, it would make things more exciting for the viewer. But he's not going to give it up and I don't blame him, even though it makes it dull for us

I'm impressed by Sally also. I don't know that Terry necessarily has to give it to her. This is Survivor. You shouldn't expect to be handed stuff. It's better for Terry to keep both immunities for himself. It's every person for themselves. thats not a bad idea to offer that to her.

This is a pretty good (if risky) plan. Danielle seems ready to jump.

Terry's now telling Austin he has the idol. They try to come up with a scheme to give the idol away to increase their numbers. Bad idea Terry.

Where did Bruce think he stood in the pecking order?

Well, if all were fair Shane would be on the bottom. The fact he is running things is totally ridiculous

I think this plan will lead to nothing.

I wouldn't want to part with the idol yet.

This alliance is just crumbling bit by bit.

Did she just call it the "immunity item"?

A Survivor internet insider on press row: Terry is a fool. He can wield power with the idol without giving it away!

Danielle would be stupid to turn down Terry's offer!

I hope she takes it too. It's time for Aras to go bye-bye.

Danielle's not going to switch.
The viewers couldn't possibly be so lucky as to have something interesting happen in the game.

A Survivor fan in the luxury box seats: I always wondered why do these people think that it's okay to be honest at the Tribal Council? I would have lied about the "amazing bonding time" on Exile Island and said I didn't bond, I was just cold. :D

Week 8 - The Verdict

I think it's interesting that Shane is finally a little more restrained, or they are editing him that way. I'd always vote off a tantrum thrower early.

Terry and Austin are smirking too much. It's not going to happen.

A Terry fan in the upper deck: Shane's freaky eyes are weirding me out.

A Sally fan in the front row: I hope Terry didn't give Danielle the idol yet. Hopefully he told her that tonight is loyalty test night.

Terry's not giving up the necklace.

Austin votes for Aras. Terry votes for Aras. Bruce voted for a name that starts with "A".

The Probst tally:

Aras - 3
Austin -5

A peanut vendor in the upper deck: Aras is so damn arrogant. I will stand alone in my living room and applaud when he is finally voted off! :clapping:

Poorly played again. I liked Austin, too. Terry needs to find a new strategy since he keeps killing off his friends.

A Sally fan in the upper deck: I hate Danielle even more. :soapbox:

A Survivor TV play-by-play man in the media gondola: And so the pagonging continues.

Frankly, I think Terry was crazy not to give him the idol. I like Casaya and Aras is the last one I'd want to see leave from them. But it'd be a nice shake up and make things interesting, at least for a couple of weeks.

A Terry fan in the front row: Bruce is an idiot for not switching. I hope he gets what he deserves.

They showed Bruce voting for Aras. Danielle is the one that didn't switch.

Wow, I never thought in a million years Terry would even offer up the Idol. He, Austin and Sally did everything they could. It was Danielle that sank their plan. She can kiss all 3 votes goodbye if she happens to make it to F2.

She should have taken the deal. How does she think anything is different than it was a few weeks ago when she said Aras is setting himself up for the win?

Dumbass Danielle just pissed away her best chance. Crowd boos at Danielle.

Well, that was anti-climactic!

Every season it's the same. Everybody is always scared and they are mostly stupid. Tonight is no exception and I'm hardly surprised.

Oh my gosh! Poor Cirie has to look at Shane's privates next week! Crowd chanting: holy sh*t!

A Survivor fan asking questions via cell phone: if i was terry i would have maybe used the idol tonight to boot aras off and keep one of my people that i had an allegiance with..i dunno...is it too early to do that or i guess maybe he is waiting in case he doesnt win an individual immunity challenge seeings how everyone will be gunning for him...am i at least thinking somewhat smart?????

A Survivor radio insider on press row: while Aras is around, Casaya will stick together. I think everyone's too afraid to go against him. So had Terry given Austin some sort of safety net, the 3 remaining La Mina may have had a chance and this season might have picked back up. Plus, anyone who made a promise to Terry and broke it would have to answer for it. I don't blame anyone on Casaya for not switching

Week 8 - PostMortem

Another poor played decision by the voters. They vote out Austin. The voters had a chance to boot out weak links like Shane and Aras, but Casaya is sticking together.

Terry wins another immunity challenge. Sally came in a close 2nd.

It would be stupid for Terry to give up his idol. The only way it would have worked is if they could get two other people on to their side. They still would have been outnumbered 4 to 3 if Terry gave up the idol. If they didn't switch this week, they sure as heck wouldn't switch next week. Terry would be the first one to go.

i'm really not understading terry's logic right now, if he kept quiet about the idol and planned to use it, that's makes sense, but letting the cat out of the bag??

i mean, i see why he's using it as bait, but he could have used it tonight and got aras off!!!

also, he is promsing crap deals, danielle still would have ended up 5th if she switched!

i guess he feels he cant lie to someone since "intergrity" is such a big deal to him, but if that was me, i'd be promising final 2 not final 5

looks like next week he gets cocky and tells them he will keep on kicking thier asses

Danielle just blew her chance to stay in the game, IMHO.

I think Danielle is #3 in the Casaya pecking order, after Aras and Shane. If she switched sides, she'd become #4 in the La Mina pecking order.

It's everyone for themselves as we're down to the Elite Eight.

You'd be thrilled as they are sticking together like glue.

Last night was a bit boring. I was hoping someone would switch sides to get themselves farther in the game as clearly two will have to go before the finals. It will be interesting to see if anyone swaps sides next week.

The women could band together and the men could choose to do the same. I doubt it happens. Now that Terry opened his yap to Danielle about having the II I wonder if she will sit on that info or share it. She could get rid of someone on her side by keeping her mouth shut.

It seems Aras and Shane are starting to lose some power which is good news as I especially can't stand Shane. I was pleasantly surprised to see Courtney win the battle of sending home Austin before Sally. I thought that was the smarter move. It also keeps the men and women at an even count, but I don't know if that even came into her thought process.

Unless there is some creative editing done in the preview it appears that Terry acts in an antagonizing way. We shall see.

I'm still waiting for the scenes with the medic and where Shane says "let's turn this game". I think Shane is actually 5 or 6 on the pecking order. The women are secretly running show in the Casaya.

Terry made the right call to keep the idol. He has to keep it until he gets the numbers. Perhaps he should have made the deals he was promising tonight a week ago. Too hard to flip 2 instead of 1.

I definately see a Casaya member going down in the next week or two to the medical emergency, but I don't see Terry losing immunity ever.

It's going to get down to 6 or 7. With it being Terry and the rest of Casaya before the women decide to pick off Aras and Shane.

My what the hell was that comment was in reference to Austin not having the HI. Did Terry decide to hold on to it after Danielle said no or did they get word that the vote was going toward Sally as discussed at camp? That was a huge fake out by Casaya if so.

Terry will keep winning as long as they are physical challenges. However, there is usually a puzzle challenge or the kind of challenge where others get to eliminate you from the challenge. (i.e. first person to take 3 hits is eliminated from the challenge). However, the producers sensing a numbers game, may keep the challenges physical just to make sure those 6 don't just get to play the numbers.

They probably got word about Sally, but Terry was only giving it up if he could flip some numbers on his side whether it was Sally or Austin. If he hands to either one, it gets played, Aras is eliminated, and Terry is still outnumbered and now forced to win every challenge. Not a smart move to simply save someone else.

Luvtino
04-07-06, 03:52 PM
It will be interesting to see if Terry telling people about the II helps or hurts him. Gut tells me it will hurt him. but the other tribe has to know that the numbers aren't in favor for a few of them. That could keep him in the game especially as he excels at challenges.

They don't want to wait too long to ditch Shane and Aras if that is the plan. All players can potentially win an IC so it could bite them in the butt if they don't ditch them sooner rather than later.

Another thing that could help sally and Terry if they get to the end is the vast majority of the jury will be Casaya members. Some will be bitter and may go against their original tribe. We have seen that happen more than once.

If I am Danielle I would keep it to myself if I wanted one of my members out. Let's say Terry loses a challenge. Let them vote Terry out. Second in line will probably be Aras. Aras goes and she is still completely in the clear. Being quiet could really work to her benefit.

I believe that was Courtney :) Crowd booing at Courtney.

I thought it was Cirie who said it. Courtney told her the comment wasn't nice. Cirie admitted that it wasn't.

This looks kind of a fun challenge, very different...This is an odd challenge.

Courtney, Bruce, Sally, & Terry are in the lead in the reward challenge.

Aras is exiled! The least repulsive team wins. :clapping:

Most people that had been in her shoes would have jumped shipped to the other side even if they knew they weren't going to make it any farther that way. But they would have gone after the person who intended to get rid of them. I wish she'd quit relying on Terry so much.

A bartender in the Reality TV Bar: I hope all the eaters get diarrhea! I hope they all die of food poisoning.

These folks are might cocky aren't they? I wish one of em gets voted out tonite.

Chances are one of them will. I don't know why or how, but anytime someone has gone out and been overly confident they wind up getting the boot or their alliance crumbles (Rotu and Steph's little group spring to mind).

Stuff your face as fast as possible? Yeah, that's a good idea after three weeks of nothing.

A Sally fan in the lower bowl seats: C'mon Sally. I still have faith in you to be a good Survivor.

Terry wins... again. Bye, Sally.

We don't know if any sort of deal was struck during reward though :)

Shane urges those contesting to take their time. I dislike him a lot, but that was funny.

Oh, surprise, Terry wins immunity again, and everyone has to stop eating.

they choke on the burges when he does

LOL Shane is disgusting when he eats like that! :-rofl-:

A Nick fan in the upper deck: Shane is disgusting in most instances. I must say though, crazy and arrogant as he is, he isn't the worst this show has seen.

I'd be pissed if my so-called alliance left me out there on my own!

How do you eat two burgers when you haven't had real food in so long? Crowd chanting: holy sh*t!

A photographer on press row: Shane should be scared to death after mouthing off to Terry about being gone. Terry is now safe and can keep Sally safe. That leaves you very unsafe Shane.

Could tonight be the night that the Casaya alliance unravels?

It's a shame Terry and Sally and Austin couldn't have brought in Bruce, Cirie or even Danielle. These groupings have been great opportunities for dealing. Now with double immunity they have ONE SHOT.

Sally is finally playing a little smart. Finally.

Terry's gonna keep spinning this until someone's stupid enough to buy it.

Courtney is such an new age airhead :)

Cirie isn't the brightest bulb on the tree.

Why not try to sway Aras?

Terry finally realizes that he wouldn't look like such a threat if he'd come up with the numbers. Too bad he sacrificed them all.

Cirie you too are an idiot. He's won 3 out of the immunities, it looks incredibly possible he'll go on a run and when he finally does lose, you will have already been booted.

I wonder if the stretcher scene will happen after courtney catches herself on fire?

im rooting for Terry to win, but 2 weeks ago he shoulda gave away the immunity idol to make it a 4-5 disadvantage instead of 6-3. its easier to get 1 person to switch over than 2

i def. think that one of the chicks is gonna win, cause they are flying under the radar. shane and aras have huge targets painted on their backs, and Terry is a goner as soon as he loses

Week 9 - The Verdict

Austin is in the jury! Yeah!

Austin looks yummy cleaned up

you tell 'em Jeff :)

Danielle is so annoying. Crowd chanting: SLUT towards Danielle.

Thank you Jeff for calling out Danielle on her own cockiness. Crowd chanting: YOU F'ED UP! to Danielle

A Survivor fan in the luxury box suites: I just KNOW that none of them will flip with Terry and Sally. This show is so predictable anymore.

Wow! Sally's out!

Of course she doesn't have it. What a waste. Crowd boos at the decision.

A Survivor TV color commentator in the upper deck: Sorry, but Terry cannot play this game any worse than he has. He's lucky he's so strong at the challenges because strategy-wise, he is tanking. Another La Mina bites the dust. This season has been way too predictable. I absolutely hate it!

A Terry fan in the upper deck: It would have been incredibly stupid for Terry to give it up at this point in the game. He can lose an immunity challenge now, and he probably wont lose more than one. Terry makes the final 2 now. Book it.

I thought for sure Terry would give it to her. For all the cockiness they accuse Terry of, every single one of them is pretty cocky. I hope he wins every one of them so they choke on their own gloating as the sit on the jury.

Week 9 - PostMortem

Wow. Terry wins another immunity challenge and Sally is out.

A lot of people in the crowd inside the Reality TV Arena said that Terry is dumb and he's playing the game wrong, not givin' up the immunity idol to Sally.

I don't think Terry should've given the idol to Sally. The odds are stacked against him and he's playing for a million bucks. No way would I give it up!

This is everyone for themselves. Sure, you can make a mini-alliance and try to gang up on someone, but it's everyone for themselves. These seven remaining contestants have to know what's at stake: $1,000,000.

There is absolutely no way should Terry have given up the idol to Sally or anyone else. To not have the idol would mean he would have to win three more immunities in a row. That is statistically unlikely. This way, he has a better shot at making the final four, at which point, everyone will want to keep him because they'd like to go to the final two with him -- thinking that he would get fewer votes.

If Terry does keep winning the immunity idol until the final five, he can basically throw the challenge and kick off whoever he wants to, turning them against each other.

I wouldn't have given it up if I were Terry either. However, if I were at the bottom of the Casaya totem pole, I would have jumped ship and went with Terry and Sally to the final four. Cirie and Bruce are completely deluded if they don't think they'll be the next to go since Terry is safe for at least one more TC.

I hope it's not serious like that regarding the stretcher scene. Maybe it's Bruce and his stomach hurting (in the previews).

I'm definately betting that it's Bruce leaving next week as the Medical Emergency. I wish he would have stayed around though.

I love how Probst called Danielle out at TC.

Terry can get himself down to the finals easily. He'll probably get a bye the week that the medical emergency happens (next week with Bruce?), and he'll have a get out of jail free card with HI. After that he'll have to somehow convince the Casaya women to give Aras the boot. Out of the final 5 IC's, he only has to win 3.

I really like Sally so I hated to see her go. :( This season has been much too predictable thus far. Hopefully that ends next week. I am a little surprised no one has jumped ship as of yet as all 6 can't make it to the finals. What are they waiting for?!

Danielle didn't tell her team that Terry has the II which was a smart move on her part. Does Bruce know as well?! I believe he does, but I can't see him selling Terry out.

I respected Aras for taking part in the IC. It was a smart move on his part in more ways that one. Funny how his team wants Terry out so bad that they all sat on their butss and ate. I know they feel secure, but that was a dumb move not to mention a very cocky one.

I was wondering if Aras was going to jump ship because he was annoyed with them. If they could have pulled Bruce to their side it would have been a completely different game. The girls also could have chosen to band together, but they are outnumbered now.

The 6 members of Casaya will eventually turn bitter as they turn on one another. That could help Terry if he makes it far enough in game, but Terry should play the game like Tom did from here on out. Tom won not only because he was a great athlete, but because he was respected as well.

The six of them could have each taken a puzzle piece and memorized it and just let one person get immunity. Is there anything against the rules having those 6 all swim out together and just giving the answer to one person (anyone but Terry and Sally)?

Aras should have been the guy Terry worked on.

Looks like next week, we get a "pecking order" reward challange. Should be very interesting.

That's an excellent idea. They were all so worried about eating burgers that winning the IC seems to have gone to the wayside.

I think Shane said he was going to turn the game or something to that effect in the coming attractions. It looked like it was said to Aras with Terry sitting there so maybe the men will come together as a new alliance.

On the Early Show, Sally was on an they showed two "secret" scenes.

One showing Terry right before TC offering Courtney "guaranteed final 3" if she flipped. Courtney said something about maybe down the road they could work something out, but Terry (with Sally there) told her "right now or never". Courtney said something like "she could not take this kind of pressure." The other scene showed Sally saying to Terry not to give up the hidden idol "for me".

My guess is the Sally's closing comments saying she was "disappointed that Terry did not give me the idol", was more of a general statement and not any il will towards him.

Week 10 - InGame Play By Play 1st Period

Crowd filing inside the Reality TV Arena...

A Survivor fan in the front row wired for sound: MUST they show Shane's nasty gut sticking out like that? :barf: Just what we need, another look at Shane's stuffed face

Flies, buzzards, and dead turtles. Not a good omen...

A bartender in the Reality TV Bar: Has anyone ever commented that they named their merged team for jeans? "Gitano" Or is that only showing my age? I have no idea if Gitano jeans even exist anymore.

Survivor: Panama Exile Island! Now 1000% more predictable than ever!

Playbook says...

Terry seems to think he can use the idol at the final four.

They only have to stop using it when there's only 3 of them left.

Knowing you are going to be voted out, would you do anything to help out at the camp? If I was Terry I would be resting the entire time.

Terry's ready to watch the Casayans turn on each other.

Any chance they'll start cooking each other when they get hungry enough?

Yikes, is Bruce going to be the one taken out on a stretcher?

A Survivor fan in the upper deck: So what are the current mini-alliances? Or are there still people dumb enough to be lone gunning it? (besides Terry, who has no choice)

These idiots in pain because they sped ate.

:-rofl-: at Cirie giving her doll boobs!

A cotton candy vendor in the upper deck: Yikes! Bruce needs some Ex-Lax!

Is Shane going to add a rash to his doll?

Snerk!

They really don't look very thrilled with those dolls, do they?

A Bruce fan in the lower bowl seats: Terry is going to suck at this RC

Pecking order challenge always offends someone.

Answer "terry" for every question so you don't show your tribemates what you really think of them!

Shane, Bruce, Aras, Cirie, and Courtney all seem to have had hate spewed at them from the entire rest of the group at various points. Hard to tell who's top of the hate chain now.

Danielle seems to be the sleeper in the group.

These "How well do you know your fellow Survivor" challenges are always enlightening.

That's not what this is though. This is the so-called "groupthink" challenge. It's a "who realizes the groupthink best" challenge, followed by pecking order.

A Survivor TV insider in the media gondola: Voodoo dolls. Hmmmm, I suspect this won't be the only time Shane burns in the pits of hell.

Symbolic burning at the stake. Love it!

That was a given they would take out Terry 1st.

I chose Courtney for talks the most :)

 Terry didn't stand a chance. Too bad it wasn't an immunity challenge, though he has the idol so it's not like it'd matter. These pecking order challenges are always interesting. I laugh everytime I think of how the Rotu 4 screwed themselves with it.

What a question. Of course you, Shane, think you are running the game.

Bruce is the 2nd out of the game. I hope he realizes what that means.

Well, at least with the exception of Terry and Bruce they aren't making it obvious with the order.

Terry? I would have guessed Shane for not trusting someone with your life.

What is a poser? :-rofl-:

The biggest POSER! :-rofl-:
Courtney - I totally agree with that one! Crowd chanting: holy sh*t!

Get all mad about losing Shane. I am :-rofl-:

I love these catfights.

Shane's pissed that Courtney hit him twice! Crowd chanting: THIS IS AWESOME!

So much for the team sticking together

Shane - still such an a$$!! Such a cry baby. You hit me twice-waaaaahhhh.

Courtney IS a poseur. They DID get that one right.
InShane moody? No, he is inshane.

"Shane down to his last rope". I bet he's heard variations of that his whole life.

Shane is such a little bitch. He complained about EVERY SINGLE THING. But if anyone had argued with him about his hits? Come on. Crowd chanting: CRYBABY! to Shane.

Shane reminds me of one of those annoying kids at recess who gets upset when you won't let them play with you.

I think everyone's reactions are more fun than the actual challenge.

I think Shane and Coutney should be tied for moodiest and for poseur.

A beer vendor in the lower bowl seats: Talk about being a child...Shane does not know how to lose. I can't wait until they vote him OUT!

:-rofl-: Shane is waking up and smelling the coffee and so is Courtney.

Terry was way too obvious. Bruce and Danielle maybe finally realizing where they stand (doubt it). Shane's taking this way too seriously. Courtney's apparently an annoying poser.

Cirie wins the challenge. How does Aras think that Terry wouldn't survive on his own?

Aras knew the answer was Cirie, he threw that

no wonder he didn't want to win

Shane better cool it or he will be going home soon.

A Survivor fan in the Reality TV Bar: Cirie is such a dumbass. Sending Terry to Exile means that YOU Cirie can't negotiate with him and the pecking order which excluded her from Day 1 goes back in place Which means she's up near the front of the boot order, after Bruce probably.

Courney, Shane, and Bruce all alone in camp together. Will they make a final three alliance? No, because Shane and Courtney hate each other, and neither has any respect for Bruce.

Courtney and Shane really need to grow up!

I can't wait for the Final 2 showdown if tonight is any indication of how these pinheads will act.

Why does Shane think he's above not being picked?

Those questions were such a set up. The answer of "cerie" were really not offending questions while "Courtney and Shane" answers were meant to prove bad feelings from them.

At last Terry knows beyond a doubt what they think of each other

I think that Terry should keep what happened in this challenge in mind and really work on Cirie
and the girls.

now we know the sub allainces, it's not Aras/Shane and Courtney/Danielle

A Survivor radio insider in the media gondola: I think Cirie made the right choices. She doesn't want to piss off one of her own group by sending one of them to Exile Island - no harm sending Terry. And she left the right 3 back at camp. There won't be any strategy going on there.

Cirie- Enjoy you little stay at the top honey, cuz you just pissed off Shane and we know he is gonna go all postal on you. Eat up girl - then go back to camp and barf on him.

Ciere has the cutest laugh!

Shane is devestated.

Here goes Shane with the conspiracy theories. I guess that challenge did reveal a pecking order (at least in Shane's warped mind). Shane and Courtney having a pity party. This is hilarious. Grow the hell up, people! Crowd chanting: SHUT THE F UP to both Shane and Courtney.

Did Shane just accuse Courtney of taking the game personal? What the heck did you do Shane, you whined like the little boy you are.

Oh.Come.On!! This is a REVELATION to Courtney that she is ANNOYING??

Shane thinks COURTNEY is taking this stuff too personally. Someone hand HIM a mirror, eh?

And Shane doesn't take anything personally :)

Bruce is in pain.

Looks like Bruce will be the one taken out. Preview said "life or death". So, TPTB let him get DEATHLY ill? Isn't that rather negligent?

Bruce is severly constipated. He's lying down.

Shane: YOu gotta hurry up and get better. we need you.

Where would she get an enema? You can't exactly use seawater. And how would you pipe it in?

This is only halfway through the ep. Do they boot someone else in addition to er... eliminating Bruce? (assuming the "life and death" tease is correct)

Cirie you are suppose to shut up during a massage and relax and enjoy.

A Survivor fan in the skybox seats: EWWW! EWWW! EWWW! Aras and Danielle think Courtney has a huge crush on Shane! Barf bag! Quick!

Hmmm...is Bruce having gall bladder issues? Or a bowel obstruction?

All Bruce would have to say is I need medical attention and he would get it immediately, he is trying to stay in the game.

I feel bad for Bruce.

Crowd giving Bruce a standing ovation.

What he is describing sounds like gallbladder...

Medical assistance has arrived to take care of Bruce.

If Bruce leaves, then that would leave Shane/Courtney on the island together tonight...I can see one of them getting killed.
HELL YES Shane they need him moved right this second.

A Terry fan in the front row: SHUT THE F UP Shane. You douchebag.

as bruce goes into seizures courtney asks bruce: "are you okay".

good god, she's a smart one!

A Survivor TV color commentator in the media gondola: Not if he has to leave the camp, I'd bet.

Now that his other allies have deserted him, Shane is now Bruce's best buddy and wants him to stay since he needs his vote.

Ew. I hate the Viking Funeral music. Makes me want to punch the sound and music editors. It's kind of an insensitive choice if you think about it.

Bruce is in a world of hurt right now. He's questionable for the rest of the season.

Poor Bruce...I hate that he had to be taken out like that. And to be carried out by a naked Shane, of all things.

With this kind of pain and the tests he'll need to rule out several things, I think they'll need to keep him at least a day but I don't think he'll be back even after that.

So now Courtney and Shane are forming a mini-alliance.

A peanut vendor in the upper deck: I would look at Shane and tell him no way would I have his back for anything.
So did Shane just hear Shane threaten Courtney. Please kick him OUT

Coutney said that Bruce being taken away was the cherry on top of the fudge sundae for her??

Shane just threatened Courtney's life with cameras rolling. He's InShane.

A Survivor fan in the Reality TV Bar: Everything is always about Courtney...

Except for Shane's death threat.

Um... I'm actually with Courtney on this one. If Shane threatened to kill me I'd be pretty unnerved too.

I have noticed that when a Casaya member has won a food reward, they never bring anything back for the others.

It's getting kind of late in the show to have an immunity challenge and a tribal council vote.

there's no way she weighs 300 lbs.

:-rofl-: at Aras's reaction to Shane.

Nice to see they don't hold a grudge. Though that challenge was crooked.

This whole threatening people attitude of Shane just seems to be digging his own grave.

I've had my issues with Aras before this, but I'm kinda liking him now.

Cirie tries to mend fences.

Shane sure swears on his son's life a lot.

for a person who claims to love his son a lot, he's quick to cheapen his son's life a lot.

If the women would THINK, they would align themselves with Terry, vote out Aras/Shane, then Terry.

With Bruce gone, why would they need Terry's vote any more than Shane's?

Shane Kissed Cerie! Crowd chanting: WHAT THE F?

Everybody is swearing on thier kid's lives. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!

Cirie is an idiot for swearing on her kids' lives.

I thought Shane gave up on swearing on his son's life.

Shane's really delusional if he thinks he's controlling anything. Didn't he learn anything from the challenge?

Sling that BS, Cirie. Hee!

Oooh, Shane's gonna turn the game. Just what does he think he can do by himself?

Shane has totally lost it out there. All that's missing is a volleyball named "Wilson"

and he'd probably get into a fight with `Wilson' then `kill' him ...

Shane never brought "it" with him, so how could he lose it. He's been insane from day one.

Horror Show: Courtney and Shane in the final two. Fortunately, I don't think that is at all likely!

Shane just stated he controls that threesome. And one of the questions was who thinks they run the show? Didn't Shane get pissed that the answer was him? Idiot!

Judging by the time, I guess Bruce is out of the game.

Bruce will kill her for ruining his rock garden!

Shane claims it would be a dream to go up against Courtney in the Final 2. I'm sure the others think it would be a dream to go up against him.

Week 10 - The Verdict

Jeff is even coming to the island...Bruce is gone.

I think Courtney meant the day was so Sh*tty, with all the stuff she found out in the challenge, that Bruce getting taken away was the capper to complete the crap day she had

A boat approaches with Terry and Probst.....

We just have received word from the medical staff that Bruce has major internal blockage. He's out of the game. It has been addressed over the PA and crowd chanting: GET WELL BRUCE! GET WELL BRUCE!

Wow...poor Bruce. I suspect he is okay now, but that just sucks. Total blockage.

If Bruce is lucky, the doctor may let him come back for the jury.

So no tribal council, they're safe for one more week and Bruce will be fine. Terry doesn't need to work for his survival this week. That means Terry is fresh.

From a game standpoint, nobody ever had to stab Bruce in the back (like they would have soon), and Terry gets yet another lucky break.

A Survivor fan in the luxury box suites: Why the little suggestive sound effect when they showed Courtney was down the beach by herself?

Will they retrieve an earlier boot for the jury if Bruce can't be on it?

So... there's WON'T be a boot this week? Grrr. I still wanted one, as viewer-selfish as that sounds. They could have just added a clip show.

Um. Bruce's families message? I hate to say it, but it was kind of creepy.

I thought it was really inappropriate, too. Talking about firing up the grill and chowing down when the poor guy can't eat right now.

The Casayans may have ended up voting Bruce off tonight anyway, but they may have taken out Terry's idol at the same time. So now they're stuck with Terry for at least 2 more votes.

Horror Show: Courtney and Shane in the final two. Fortunately, I don't think that is at all likely!

Bigger Horror Show: Courtney and Shane dating

Next week: Shane pretends to have a Blackberry. :-rofl-:

Awww poor Bruce. Too bad he had to go out this way.

Week 10 - PostMortem

No tribal council this week, but Bruce has to forced out of the competition due to injury or illness.

I feel bad for Bruce. He did so well early in the season. IMHO, he was one of the favorites to win it all early in the season.

That was a serious injury to him and I wish him the best.

In terms of drama, you have Shane going wild again. Courtney and Shane hated each other since they were teammates. Will Courtney and the rest of the crew have a chance to gang up on Shane next week?

With Bruce gone, there's no immunity challenge this week and Terry gets more rest. No need for him to sacrifice his other immunity idol that he found in Exile Island earlier in the season.

So Terry is automatically into the top 5. This group is really dumb, I dont see them breaking with each other, so Terry may get to chose who goes if he doesn't win immunity

And Terry would (and should) choose Aras, because that's the person who is the biggest physical threat to him.
With Aras out of the game, Terry can have an even greater percentage of certainty in winning the immunity challenges.

Poor Bruce. Tough way to go out of the game, but he really had no choice other than to leave. I am glad he will be okay. I hope he makes it back to serve on the jury. Feel better. :(

Terry is my fave and I am hoping he wins. It will be interesting to see whose name comes up next week should Terry win II. Aras is the most physically imposing after Terry so he is definitely at risk. Shane is nuttier than a fruitcake and I would love to see him go home. I can only imagine his reaction. :o :D

All I have to say is tonight we may have seen Survivors funniest moment when Bruce was writhing in pain and Courtney asked him if she could sing him a "Help" song. Of course he said no.

But she thought it was a good idea to sing it anyway. Bruce didn't have much strength but he had enough strength to give her a forceful "Don't".

I laughed and laughed.

Tough break for Bruce. Great week for Terry for obvious reasons.

I think Shane deserves a spot on the "Mt. Rushmore of Survivor heels": Hatch, Hawk, Fairplay, Shane.

I was thinking this, but I dont think he deserves to be up there with any of them, simply because all of them were surrounded by strong players, Shane isn't. I'd say the Mount Rushmore of Heels is Hatch, Brian Heidik, Johnny Fairplay and Boston Rob

Intestinal bursitis is no freakin' joke. Same thing happened to my dad 11 years ago.

Very painful and very serious.

Cerie just keeps sneaking her way through.

Boston Rob is #5 on my list. Brian, who was one of the great Survivor players in history IMO, never got angry or raised his voice towards anyone. He did quietly screw a couple people over and was cold and calculating. He definitely was a top 10 heel, but did not incite the same level of hatred Shane or Fairlplay have.

i think he is annoying, not necessarily a heel. I think Boston Rob is #2 in my book. He had the BEST survivors around him, and screwed over ever single one of them, and was an ass about it.

My heel rankings:

HM: Rob C-Never told a lie he didn't like and a very smart player.

#5 Boston Rob-A very calculated manipulator, who would let the public know just how "smart" he was. Could be higher on the list for Yankee fans for being a Sox fan.

#4 Hawk-Not the biggest heel during the 1st season (could easily be switched with Rob), but that final TC speech is so legendary, she has to be near the top.

#3 Shane-Begged and pleaded to be voted off, annoyed every tribe mate and most TV viewers, but yet is still there. Even his own alliance is smart enough not to take him to a relaxing day at a spa.

#2 Hatch-"No way would people vote for him to win! No way!" That's what many viewers were saying. He lied and screwed over everyone and anyone and set the standard for how the game is played today.

#1 Fairplay, very Shane-like annoying to his tribe. With all the people who swore on family members lives, we wondered who, if anyone would ever "go there" with using a family member to their advantage. He did just that. In an Oscar winning performance he invoked his "dead Grandmother" and it did get him slightly further in the game and even some viewers for a second had some sympathy for him. Then we all find out its a big lie and his strategy from day one was to play the "heel" and it did briefly launch a pro wrestling career as a "heel".

Week 11 - InGame Play By Play 1st Period

Crowd filing inside the Reality TV Arena...

Poor Bruce. I wonder how he's doing?

A Survivor fan in the front row wired for sound: Let's all chant untill it becomes true "Shane begone! Shane begone! Shane begone!" :D

InShane in the Membrane! InShane in the Blackberry!

I am excited to see if Terry can keep up his domination at immunity.

Day 28 on the island. They're fishing with hermit crabs for bait. Why not use Shane for bait? :D

A Survivor TV insider in the media gondola: How fake is this blackberry thing from Shane? We are not stupid

Shane is using a stone age Blackberry. How come the cavemen didn't think of that? :-rofl-:

Shane thinks his new BlackBerry is allowing him to communicate with people off the island. *rolleyes*

Ah well, at least he's wearing pants tonight.

Why isn't this Blackberry insane posing obvious to these people as the fake out it is? I mean I suppose he's committed to it, since he's even telling the interviewers he believes in it.

Reward Challenge: teams of 3 in an obstacle course. Reward is another feast. Of course.

A Survivor radio insider in the media gondola: If Terry can make winners of Danielle and Courtney in this RC he truly is the master of challenges. Those two are pretty worthless most of the time.

Teams are Shane, Aras & Cirie vs Terry, Danielle & Courtney.

Gee whiz. Obstacle courses in the water are even harder than on land.

Doesn't look like Cirie, Aras, and Shane are even interested in playing

Well, this challenge is turning out to be pathetic.

Terry, Courtney, & Danielle are already on their way back, before the others are even up on the platform.

If you're that far behind, just save your energy for immunity.

Jeff just yelled at Cirie, Aras and Shane: "Get your asses out of the water and hurry up." Crowd chanting: holy sh*t! holy sh*t!

Terry, Danielle & Courtney blow the other 3 out of the water. So to speak.

Who goes to Exile Island? Aras. Shane says to Cirie, "More beans for us."

Week 11 - InGame Play By Play 2nd Period

Do I smell a car? or is it too early

Oh no. Another challenge for the winners. Will the "Curse of the Car" rear it's ugly head?

Sweet. A 2007 GMC Yukon

Aras should probably thank them for sending him to exile island, going there might be preferable than spending the day alone with Shane

Terry, like they don't all hate you ENOUGH! :-rofl-:

Woohoo Terry wins again! :clapping:

A Survivor fan in the upper deck: Perhaps Terry will break the car curse. It has to be broken sometime.

He had nothing to lose because those other people were never going to befriend him so he might as well win as much as he can while he is there. :)

I loved how Aras was just pitching Cirie around the obstacles. Of course the girls know Terry will pick Aras. They want him weak too.

Aras just lazes around Exile Island. He knows the idol isn't there.

Damn, those are some nice steaks.

These people are silly enough to believe they've got Terry beat. He's already got more votes than they do, and he won't have to stab anyone in the back.

Terry's talking strategy with the 2 gals. He lucked out with his "team" for that challenge. I don't think he'd have a hope of flipping Cirie or the boys.

What was that skewer/shishkebob thing that Courtney was cooking?

Hmmm, Danielle doesn't go along with Terry's plan.

How in the world did Cirie get tangled up in the ropes is beyond me.

A Survivor fan in the Reality TV Bar: Cirie isn't too dumb. She knows that Shane's only hope in F2 is to be sitting next to Courtney.

Giggly, squeamish Cirie catches a fish. On InShane's birthday.

Cirie drags the poor fish all the way back!

A cotton candy vendor in the lower bowl seats: *sigh* I'm so tired of Cirie's incessant giggling. I'm amused that she caught the fish, but all she does is giggle. Someone asks how she's feeling that day; Cirie giggles. Someone asks her who to vote off; Cirie giggles.
Stopppppppppp!

What, nobody makes Shane a wooden birthday cake?

BroadwayBomber55

Week 11 - InGame Play By Play 3rd Period

Day 30. Danielle wonders about Terry's idea for F2. She knows Courtney would be the better bet.

Terry wouldn't have had a hope to even win the challenge with Cirie on his team, never mind talk of flip-he'd have been exiled again

Here goes Courtney taking everything personally again Crowd boos at Courtney.

Courtney isn't thrilled with Terry and Danielle's idea of "fair". She figures if you made it as far as F3, it wasn't on a free ride.

I love the way they're rinsing the snails off in that nasty water like it's taking the germs away from the rocks.

Cirie isn't giggling any more. However, if Danielle goes with Cirie's strategy, DANIELLE will be lowest in the group.

Cirie points out to Danielle that Terry is probably lying about the "take whoever comes in 2nd" strategy. She knows he'd prefer to go with Courtney as well.

immunity challenge time.

That's an evil sounding challenge.

Immunity challenge they each have to hold their own weight.

A Survivor radio play by play man in the media gondola: why not wrap the end of the rope around your hand for a better grip? There's some room to do that

Cirie's gotta hold as much as the guys.

Bye bye, Shane.

Shane's the first one out of the Immunity Challenge. Crowd chanting: YOU TAPPED OUT! YOU TAPPED OUT!

Cirie is stronger than I thought. Maybe it's all that nursing, having to lift people, etc.

Terry and Courtney are in the zone

Cirie goes out next. I honestly thought she'd be out first. Danielle's out 3rd.

Aras is really struggling.

Cortney's so skinny she probably isn't holding much weight. She looks like she's in a trance.

YEEAAAHHHH!!!! A clean sweep for Terry! :clapping: Another IC win. Crowd chanting: TERRY! TERRY! TERRY! TERRY!

Terry is gonna go down as the best Survivor ever.

Well, now Danielle had better make up her mind who she's going to ally with.

They should have them doing puzzles. Remember Rafe?

A Terry fan in the skybox seats: Terry rules! Eat that, Shane.

Week 11 - InGame Play By Play Inside Tribal Council

Terry's really tough. He looked like he was ready to go any second

Physical challenges appear to be Terry's best shot at staying in the game. Even Aras - who I thought would be a contender this time- was out quick.

So now we get to watch Casaya cannibalize itself. *rubs hands together in glee*

A Sally fan in the upper deck: I did not enjoy seeing Danielle's armpit hair.

Aras is the biggest threat? How'd she convince herself of that?

The plan is for Terry and the girls to vote out Aras, while Shane and Aras try to vote out Danielle.

For now.

I would love to see Courtney go home. Cannot stand her.

Cirie's got an interesting plan. Get rid of an annoyance and the most likely final two choice.

A beer vendor in the upper deck: Rats. Cirie has Aras' back and fills him in. Now Courtney is the target.

Lots of double crossin' going on! :) Crowd chanting: holy sh*t!

All this dealing has me confused. Bruce is back.

Bruce looks like he lost a lot of weight.

And Sally looks adorable.

Shane is gonna blow an artery when he finds out about Cirie/Aras/Danielle. Hee. Mayhem!

A Survivor fan in the luxury box suites: Cirie has just stepped up to the Machievellian plate (I hope I spelled that right).

I'm surprised to see that she's calling the shots now. I would be extremely disappointed if she actually wins this thing.
