Does anyone know where I might be able to get the same pants that the players wear on the field? I'm not looking for game-used or game-issued, just an authentic version of the pants. Any help would be great. And I'm looking for the home pinstripe ones. I've found game-used Yankees pants but they are either too big or they are the road versions.

Do they have to be authentic, or can they just be generic white pants with navy pinstripes?

Majestic Athletic in Bangor, Pa., just west of Belvidere, NJ, makes all of the MLB uniforms now, as well as the dugout jackets and warm-up jerseys, fleeces, etc. Don't know which part of NJ you live in, but it might be worth a trip to either of their two outlet stores (on Route 512 between Bangor, Pa., and Pen Argyl, Pa., or in the Crossings Outlet Mall in the Poconos off Route 80, near the Camelback Ski Area). You can get the apparel there for at least $25 less than you could anywhere else.

I'm not quite sure if the pants are the same material as the jerseys, but if they are, I'd prefer those instead of the typical printed on pinstripes that the replica jerseys have.

Actually, I don't live in New Jersey, and I don't really like the Nets too much. I just use this avatar since I can't use custom avatars yet and this is the least used avatar. I live on Long Island, and driving all the way to Pennsylvania for a pair of pants isn't very appealing. :o Thanks for the info though. :)

You trying out or what?

Edit: If you make the team, they'll give you team-issue pants.

Actually it's for a little winter baseball game that I'm playing with some friends. We gotta dress up in full gear and everything but the pants are the only things I'm missing. I just want some authentic pants to match my jersey. If it comes down to it, I probably will end up buying some cheap ones but I would like to get some authentics if I can.

Also, those pants are way more comfortable than you'd expect. I dream of a society when we throw away our jeans and slacks for a pair of MLB pants.
