Figured this deserved its own thread. Seems like a nice deal for Boston, although they did give up a couple very solid prospects (particulary the young SS). Like with all trades, only time will tell.

I am, however, excited to see how Beckett handles moving from Miami, where I assume he could walk to the store without being recognized, to Boston, where people will be attempting to kiss his feet and steal a lock of his goatee...
