while i was just looking over the list, and there is some good news. Matt Lawton is considered a type A player. So hopefully someone will grab him. AL Leiter, Felix Rodriguez, and Bernie Williams are all type B. Hopefully they all sign on somewhere and get us some picks c ause im sure were gonna be signing some FA this offseason and will need to make up for lost picks.

Don't the Yankees have to offer their players arbitration to secure that compensation? If so, there is no chance that will happen.

No way.
The salary he would receive in arbitration is about triple what he would get as a free agent.
If the Yankees offered, he would take it in a heartbeat.
