It would make long threads, even longer, thus leading to less organization.

I think you can lower the number of replies you see per page in your profile.

That's the point.. making them longer to make more ads.

But too long isn't fun. Like we have those threads about "Offseason Deals" that are like 20+ pages long. Making it longer would just be harder to find info that happened a while ago.

Have you ever considered lowering the number of messages per page (in a thread) in order to increase ad impressions?It actually used to be that way. But threads got so ridiculously long, something had to be done. I guess I'd rather put usability before revenue. And in the long term, a site with better usability will earn greater revenue anyway.
