Wow, four weeks left and there are still a whole lot of teams with legit shots and some with outside shots of making the post season. This is going to be a bit shorter than I imagined, but without further ado I give you, The Eliminated List!

The Plant rules the list at a mighty 2-17, quite an accomplishment for a noob. Hey, Empire, Naughties, and Ice, haven't I seen you around here before? Nothing I like more than perennial sucking! That's it. You 4 guys and gals are the opitome of suckitude. The funny thing is that it's possible (although very unlikely) that no one could join you next week. Imagine that, three weeks left with only 4 teams cooked. We'll see!

Yes, this league has no restrictions on adding or dropping minor league players, except for the rules that:
1) The minor leaguer must be in the minor leagues
2) The minor leaguer must still have rookie eligibility -- that is, not pitched 50 innings, or had 130 ABs.
3) Players drafted in this year's entry draft are ineligible to be signed until 2006's minor league draft or free-agent period.

Because as a created player, he won't appear in a Sportsline search. What you'd need to do is go to the "Lineup" page, and select "All Teams". If you search the page there, you'd see him. :)

The Marauders regret having to cut ties with Eric Gagne as Brady Clark needed the roster spot to fill out our DL. In the hopes that Gagne doesn't miraculously recover to pitch a CG shutout against the Marauders we have sent him free tickets for the remaining 2005 games so there are no hard feelings.

I am your biggest fan this week Patrick. Looking at the schedule this should be the 2nd biggest week left for us this year - other than my head to head match up next week with the Lookalikes. BAck to this week - I have the Plant (who should have already rolled over and played dead by now) and Nat has to feel the power of the Truth. I was "supposed" to get a one game buffer this week but Flanders isn't following the script very well. My verbal trashing of Eric will probably come back to bite me in the ass - it's all about karma.
I'd like to thank the Detroit Tigers for letting me know late Monday that Rondell White would be on the DL for the next month.
I'd also like to thank that catcher Ass-Rod for his crazed breakdown and deciding he can't be playing any baseball these days.
On a side note Flanders - Wright has been activated and has already pitched a game - could you kindly do something wtih that God-awful lineup of yours? Some of us may want the player you are going to have to drop.

I think he had a legal roster when the week started and I am not sure about a penalty - I think we have more of an "unwritten gentlemen's agreement" about this issue. But since Flanders cannot read and is certainly not a gentleman I am not making any excuses for him.

And I may be wrong - which I seem to be a lot of lately - but I don't think average points comes into effect if the tie can be broken by division records (which in your case I used).

Whoever wins your game it will be a shame that someone has to lose on the final day of the week. I did it twice in the first few weeks of the season and again to Vito a couple weeks ago and it SUCKS.

This is a dramatic week for the division. You and the Lous are all tied up, Slugs-Horsemen is a 6 point game, and Truth-Lookalikes is 4.5. The Woodies seem to be the only contender who has their game wrapped up, and coincidentally enough it's against the highest scoring team. And the Gigs still have a slim chance in that one, down by 23.5 with one start compared to the Woodies' three.

Big week for the Truth! If the Horsemen could've held on against the Slugs it would have been perfect, but 2 out of 3 ain't bad as the Bombers have fallen out of the race and the Gigs pulled off a Sunday surprise and came back against long odds to beat the Woodies.
And in other news, the entire Mantle division beat the entire DiMaggio division. :scared:

Just goes to show you who the superior division is in this league. Mantle rules the land!
My team has had such a bad luck season. Nothing like leading your division in points and being tied for last place. :mad:
With King Felix on the mound for the rest of the season.....you do NOT want to play the Kill. Just ask the Wolverines. I will enjoy being the spoiler for the next 3 weeks. Jacks and Ligers beware.
