Will he be our next 5th starter? Is he ready?

If Lily and Duque don't start to do better thank I don't see why not. I remember that he was with the team for a few days earlier and when I saw him pitch he looked good. If Lily continues to have this fat ERA than I say give him a chance!

No, but Nick Johnson can.
I don't know why our guys take so long to get to the show.
Albert Puhols only played one season of minor league ball and look what he's doing for St. Louis.
I guess you can't just be ready to play, you've got to be ready for the bright lights and pressure also.

This kid was in Single A most of last year, got bumped up to Triple A the last couple weeks, and now is tearing up the Majors. He's only got one year of playing pro baseball under his belt. Unbelievable.

Adrian is scheduled to pitch this pm 5/18/01 Hoping he is continues his winning streak!
If he doesn't become the 5th starter, he will be welcomed in the bull-pen.
Mr. Torre seems to have lost his confidence in Williams.

I gotta tell ya I'm really hoping that D'cito has something for us this year. He could turn out to be just that little thing this pitching corps needs to solidify it. And I'm just not sold on Mendoza being healthy.
