Well, I noticed some interesting developments in the 5-8 standings. And are the Knights really in 4th?
I hope Pujols shoulder holds up, I would hate to call it the curse of Gary Sheffield! ;)
Oh, and HHH, enjoy Tyler Walker! :bad:

Yeah, after a relatively healthy and productive first half, injuries and slumps have caught up with my team...

Trading deadline is Sunday. Perhaps you need some "help". :dunno:
I could use a "phenom" next year. :bad:

No, according to the rules on Sportsline, it's 8/29

I thought Kev had mentioned that our date was the same as MLB's when all that trading was going on a couple weeks ago. ?

Dunno....I just go by what the rules say. Besides, the trading deadline in MLB is August 31. July 31 is just the non-waivers deadline. Deals can still be made until 8/31.

Speaking of which - do we have waivers implemented now?

Toughest decision I had to make all year. Wood coming off the DL. Miller has been hurting my staff and contibuted nothing. Maybe someone can use him.
Maybe I'll get some saves out of Wood.

Steve,
FYI, I read on Yahoo they said once the Cubs are no longer playoff eligible Wood is going to shut it down.

If he turns out to be anything like Schilling has become he will. Saves will be a bonus. Miller has been knocked around in all of his starts coming off the Dl except 1. His past tells me he is a better pitcher but I'm running out of time.
Either way it was a gamble. And Miller at 2 could have been a keeper. Still playing for this year, and I'm creepin. I'm no longer embarrassed. I have keepers, so I'm still happy. I'm actually looking to sign a few guys for 1 year deals then letting them go. I have a few at some good prices without the penalty for a long term deal. I will have to rely on the draft the year after.

Do wish you still kept Dye at $1?
I haven't been able to declare is that trade helped or hurt me. I got nothing out of Percival, Hunter did have double digit hr's and sb's.
I sure could have used Zito's wins and k's... :enraged:

Well if I was looking for next year? Yes. Right now I'm very happy with my OF. Very happy.
