Congrats to Randy!

Columbus pitcher Randy Keisler was chosen as one of the players of the week in the International League. Keisler threw a shutout in his only appearance, striking out four and walking one while allowing just one hit in a 4-0 victory over Indianapolis. The left hander had a no-hitter through 62/3 innings before allowing a double, then set down the final seven batters.

If only he had done as well up with the Yankees! Congrats Randy!

After being named player of the week in the IL last week.....on Monday the 7th...he struck out 11 and only walked 1 and pitched an outstanding game ...but still got a loss! when they lost 9-3 ;)

Beautiful! I hope he's OK with being in Columbus now, I have a feeling that being there and dominating the AAA hitters is exactly what he needs, he is far enough ahead of them talent-wise that he can work on some of the other skills he needs to be a quality major leaguer, and he will be better off in the long run.

With another chance I feel he couldn't do any worse than what Lilly has done his last few outings.

Not that I'm down on Lilly, but Randy might be ready to do a better job.
