You know, Eric, your team is really starting to infuriate me. I mean, I have been on this edge for like 4 weeks now. My offense will be good one week and my pitching can't find a win, save, or strikeout. Then vice versa.

Yet, your team has remained over 100 for several weeks running. Just when I thought you were slipping, +6.5? WTF?

I am blaming this all on Steve! ;)

I'm amazed, myself. I never expected my good luck to last this long. I even voted that I'd "be sewer rats soon" :D

Actually, if I'd kept Miller, I'd have more K's and W's now, rather than a slightly better WHIP and ERA. It's probably a wash. :)

Well i figured since I sucked so much i'd send one of my guys to a winning team. He deserved it.

What really surprises me too is that this is a 13 team league, so the scale is a little higher than your normal 10 or 12 team roto league, but only by a fraction.

But, when I look at your team all your players have been extremely consistent, no real highs and lows like the majority of our teams have experienced. Evidently that is the key.

This is my 9th year of Fantasy Baseball and I have yet to see a team dominate the first half of a season the way yours is. :uhh:

Thanks. Like I said, I've been very lucky. I mean guys like Nick Johnson ($1), Trot Nixon ($1) and Cesar Izturis ($2) were all signed because they fit my meager remaining budget, but are all playing WAY above expectations, no matter how consistent they've been. If they fall back to their career numbers -- or even just SLIGHTLY ahead -- it will bring my points way down.

And who expected this kind of a start from D-Train and Adam Eaton? Again, I can't expect their outrageous success to continue for the next four months, either. I mean, (15-2, 2.48) combined? We're not talking about Guidry circa 1978 here...

Again, thanks for your comments, but I'm as surprised as the rest of you.

 It had to finally pay off sooner or later, huh?

Of course, if this holds up, I'll have to find a new strategy next year, since you'll all try to copy mine.

I can see the bidding war (if you don't keep him) for Izturis going up to $50 already! ;)

You know the moment you bring someone up everyone will take notice and want him. After everyone spends all their money, everyone you want will be available and cheap.

Meanwhile, nobody will compete with your bids as we all know they'll just end up on the DL. :P

I picked up E.Santana the other day, and it looks like he will be sent back down once K.Escobar is off the DL. Escobar is also on my team.

Am I aloud to keep Santana and sign him to a long term contract like EyeBlack did with E.Jackson?

I have room on my minor league roster b/c of call-ups.

No. You can reserve him/send him down to the minors, though.

About freaking time! Who would have thought his first save wouldn't be until May 26th? (Esp when he's been active almost two weeks!)

I hate my team. I hate Ted Fcuking Lilly. That Rodrigo Lopez trade sucked :(

In other news, it looks as if Griffey's surgery to remove the fork from his back was successful... and I had him too. Making so many bad moves...

He is doing what I thought I might be able to do about 3 weeks ago.

Plus, his team has like 6 people on the DL?

My pitching is killing me!
