I voted for the Kerrigan incident. A guy clubbing a female figure skater in the knee. What a punk. I'm sure his parents envisioned that future for him.

The best (uh, I mean worst) cheap shot ever was when Domi sucker punched Ulf Samuelson. That was the cheapest shot ever and the thing that made it so surreal was that almost no one on the planet felt bad for Ulfie.

I hear ya, patrick -- they've been showing that a lot on ESPN in light of Domi's latest antics, and I'm still surprised every time he hauls off and belts him!! :D
As for the poll, I voted for McSorley...there are plenty of ways in hockey to take out your frustrations with clean hits...everyone has been all over my favorite hockey player Scott Stevens for making clean, tough hits, but he doesn't play dirty...
I was disappointed that the Devils didn't use Domi's cheap shot as added motivation (as if you should need added motivation in a playoff game) to kick Toronto's ass last night --we're down 3-2 in this series now, but I have to think the Devils will come back --and that will be the best payback we can give old Tie....
I think the NHL is going to have to make some even harsher pernalties for behavior like this....I think Domi is sick and he seems to just snap sometimes, although this time there has been talk that he allegedly made a threat earlier in the series that he would take a suspension to take Niedermayer down, which means this was pre-meditated!! This nut is skating around with a few lethal weapons including a stick, and an elbow that may as well be a crow bar when you take it to someone's face like that...while some people are saying the punishment was harsh enough, I don't think missing the playoffs and $1,000 fine are enough for knocking someone unconscious for several minutes with a cheap shot, especially when if it had hit the temple could have killed him...to me, sucker-punching/elbowing someone is so much worse than leading with your elbow when checking someone when the puck is somewhere in the vicinity....I think punks like him should be thrown out for good, and then these guys will think twice.

Jesus. Neidermayer got what was coming to him. He was threatening Domi in the first two games and Domi nailed him. Neidermayer broke the first rule of thumb: Keep your head up and stay alert.
I don't see any Devils fans mentioning how Stevens knocks out the good players on other teams. You know those are done intentionally. Carolina would have beaten them if Stevens didn't knock out three of their best players. I didn't see Stevens knocking anyone out in the Toronto series. You know why that is? Because he knew Domi would have knocked his ass out. Stevens was and probably still is scared of Domi. If Stevens knocked anyone out in the Toronto series, he would've been where Neidermayer is.
Neidermayer got what was coming to him. That's what you get for trash talking and then not paying attention when you're on the ice. I don't feel sorry for Neidermayer at all.

Domi should have been arrested for assault and taken out in handcuffs.
As for the poll, Tonya Harding came up fast and is now in second place! What a piece of trash she is.
I cringe everytime I see the film of Rudy getting flattened by Kermit.Could have killed him.
