Tom Verducci wrote an article about pitchers switching from the AL to NL and vice versa. Here is the article.

Here are the cumulative numbers for the AL-to-NL pitchers:
From AL to NL
Year League W-L ERA IP BB/9 K/9
2003 American 96-82 4.95 1,450.2 2.2 5.8
2004 National 98-65 4.00 1,455 2.6 6.1

From NL to AL
Year League W-L ERA IP BB/9 K/9
2003 National 79-68 3.64 1,269.1 2.9 7.6
2004 American 56-37 4.57 793.2 2.8 6.5

Eight starting pitchers are making the much tougher move to the AL this year: Jose Lima of Kansas City and Kevin Millwood of Cleveland, as well as two Red Sox (Matt Clement and Wells) and three Yankees (Johnson, Carl Pavano and Jaret Wright). The Yankees are hoping their trio makes the transition more easily than did Brown and Vazquez.

Probably nothing groundbreaking here... i thought it was an interesting read though.
