We'll use this as a trading block of sorts. Maybe not so much to flesh out deals, but moreso to put out feelers as to the leagues interest in some of your players, or for you to covet another man's assets (Steve, I'm talking about players ;) ).
To let it be known, I should probably change my name to Trader Joe, because I am ALWAYS making deals. No one on my roster is untouchable, as long as I get value in return.
That being said, let me kick things off by saying that I have a plethora of outfielders, and would be willing to trade one ($19 Aaron Rowand anyone?) if anyone is interested...

Do we have to match salaries?

Like Kev, the Squeakawatts are always looking to deal, and are willing to listen to offers for anyone on our team. As ST moves along, we might be shopping specific players, but we don't have any particular player(s) on the block right now, but we're always receptive to any ideas people might have.

No, sir. Not at all. You can go over the cap in season.
But the salaries will play heavily into the deals because we are in a keeper league.
A swap of a good player with a low salary, for an equal player with a high salary probably just isn't fair. The low salaried guy has more value because he can be retained next year, while the high salaried guy will be put back into the auction pool.

But you could trade a high-salaried superstar for a low salaried everyday player, since the keeper value might balance things out, right?

Oh, absolutely.
Its just like real baseball in that respect.
So you want to trade Bonds (34) for Sanders (3)??? ;)
I am currently hammering something out with bitch's brew but as it currently stands I have 3 of the top 4 third basemen in A-Rod, Adrian Beltre and Aramis Ramirez. I need a top tier first baseman or catcher so if someone wants to offer me something, let me know.

I have Thome, Delgado and Helton, if you are interested in any of them maybe we can talk.

It would just KILL you to see A-Rod and Jeter on the left side of my infield, huh? Maybe that $20 ($14) Mota wasn't such a bad signing.... ;)

Giambi is a monster this spring!!
Take him now for a $10-15 pitcher, or wait til mid-summer and offer up your ace - YOUR CHOICE!
