Do you mean this season??? ;)

NO

and as a Knicks fan....I want them to lose the rest of their games and position themselves for the highest draft pick possible....

Not the way they've been playing

I voted no because I like what the Celtics have done. If they get Payton back, the C's could make some noise in the playoffs (return to Conf. Finals?). And the fact that Payton hasn't said one word about the Celtics or Ainge following the trade tells me he will be back soon... hopefully. :)

we may have had this discussion before....but if by some miracle this team does win the division....tell me what good comes out of it??

what's the better scenario:

1) win the division with a .500 or even sub-.500 record, and lose in the 1st round

2) lose most of the remaining games, perhaps luck out in the lottery and land a Top 3 draft pick

if u ask me its a no-brainer....#2....since I want to see this team win a championship before I die, we need to start rebuilding NOW

I'm rooting hard for a tank, and a shot at Bogut.

What about Taft, he looks like the real deal.

I don't think he's a true C. The Knicks have a ton of PFs.

If we end up w/ the guy the website projects the Knicks getting:

N.Aleksandrov 6-10 210 SF Serbia 1987

I will kill myself. 6'10 210lb 18 year old. Great.

Do you want this guy in our lineup, ever?

Probably not within the next five years.

See the Celtics #1 pick from this past draft... he has some great potential and has contributed a bunch this season.

Oh yeah, and to comment on the thread...

Not a chance.

Boston and Philly both got much better on Thursday. I just can't see the Knicks being able to compete at that mediocre level yet.

They just rank the players and put them next to the team with that pick. Hey, who heard of Kerilinko before he was drafted?

it would be nice to draft a player that I've actually seen play before

I hate drafting these foreigners....you have no clue who they are and how they play....you just have to "hope" your team's scouting department has them pegged right

maybe I still feel burned from the Frederic Weis debacle....

I don't know his exact weight, but I'll be anything Al Jefferson weighs more than 210 pounds. A guy that thin won't be contributing anything for a few years.

Now they don't. Not after the 76ers acquired Chris Webber. If most of the players on the Sixers stay healthy I don't see why they can't string together victories and run away with the weak division anyway.

Nets 61, Knicks 39 in the 3rd quarter. :cheer:

Good. Maybe we can watch the Knicks get a good draft pick and the Nets get eaten alive by Miami in the first round.

The Knicks are pretty much headed to the lottery. I'm not really familiar with how it works. Will they get a decently high pick?

I'm pretty sure Isiah dealt the pick away when we picked up Marbury he did get a first round pick from the Spurs and the Rockets when he added the bad contracts of Malik Rose and Mo Taylor. We'll be picking late in the draft.

With the deals Isiah's making he'd bust out faster than Mikey and Double Down.
