I'm picking the Rams just because I'm still pissed off at Holmgren.

Truth is, I'm sure I won't even watch this game. I might have to have sex with the wife or something equally revolting.

True, but the Rams showed alot today, I thought. They can play, and will get one more win this season.

A very good team, and kicked their asses for most of the game.

I think the Rams will win the Futility Bowl if Steven Jackson is healthy enough to get 20 or so carries. 42 total rushing yards just isn't going to cut it next week.

Jackson IS going to be one helluva NFL RB. He's the Future.

I like how St Louis played this week...and although they arent anywhere near as good on the road....I dont trust this Seahawk team in a big spot....not that I trust Martz either but the Rams are the lesser of two evils

should be a shootout

Rams 34 Seahawks 30

Seattle has the better team and they gave away that home game to the Rams. This time the Seahawks will win at home.

:uhh: 11-1 in this poll???

The Rams stink. Just because they beat the Jets, that doesn't make them good.

Both teams stumbled into the playoffs, it's goin' to be a high-score shootout. Rams by 3, 44-41.

It's too bad one of these 2 crappy teams is going to advance to the next round. That being said, I'm picking the Rams to win in a shootout 38-35, just because, like one of the posters said, don't trust the Seahawks in a big spot.

For those who cry out for a salary cap in baseball, the NFL presents the Pete Rozell Memorial Parity Bowl. I (someone who never saw a football wager that he didn't like) will neither gamble on or predict the outcome of this game in protest.

On the other hand, getting points against Mike Martz is never a bad thing. :badass:

Seahawks. The Rams won last week due to Herman Edwards deciding to go for the FG in OT, and then it going wide, which put them in amazing field position that put the game right in thier laps. The Rams are the obviously weaker team.

Have to 'hope' the Seahawks pull this off. Only because I was fortunate(?) to draw them in both office Playoff Pools' today...

Before the season I picked Seattle to go to the SuperBowl, so I'll stick with them here.

I'm a little concerned alot of people are picking the Rams. I mean, these teams ARE 8-8. Though I'm picking the Rams, I still have a hard time beliving that they will beat Seattle 3 times.

First team in NFL history to win a playoff game without a winning record. I really thought the fact they burned all their timeouts in the 3rd quarter was going to end up killing the Rams. Great call by Martz on the winning TD drive...and I'm 1-0 in the playoffs. :D

That was a pretty fun game, with a pretty exciting ending....

and now, we present to you... Jets and Chargers, here we gooooo

Seattle's season in a microcosm on that last play.

Isn't that the truth... :( Could you see the sorrow on Holgrem's face?He looked like HE wanted to cry.I think Hasselbeck was already..

Oh well, that game just blew me out of both my Office pools....

Yep, they both looked to be on the verge of tears. I can't say that I blame them, as stupid mistakes cost them their season, and they had little, if any, control over those mistakes.

Too bad they didn't ask Theisman's advice before the game. Theisman had them losing the game with the initial 'kick-off' :(
Joe Theisman is my 'Tim McCarver' of NFL broadcasters.... :D

GO CHARGERS!!! (trying to ea$e the pain) ;)

The Rams-Seahawks game was a very good one. The Rams became the first 8-8 team to win a playoff game. Great effort by Matt Hasselbeck in a losing effort.

The Seahawks will be knuckleheads to let Mike Holmgren go. The Seahawks are a young football and they're goin' to be good. I just don't know why SI pick them as one of the teams to go to the Super Bowl if the Seahawks are so inconsistent.

if you cant catch the ball hasselback threw at the end, then you dont deserve to be in the nfl or making millions of dollars

That's the only reason why the 'Hawks lost. They dropped 5 passes. Not good. Darrell Jackson is drop prone.
