What the...how the hell did Dallas win that game? I turned it off with 2 mins and change to play, Dallas at midfield and down by 2 scores.
What's in the water in the west lately? First Oakland or Anaheim refuses to get hot and run away with the AL West - now St. Louis and Seattle just can't put it together. Doesn't anyone want to win the NFC West? Arizona, want to?
Ok, maybe it's some bad plumbing, so that what's bad in the western water travels across to St. Louis.

I really don't mind watching Holmgren lose. I have some serious mixed feelings about the man.
Also, I respect the big, fat Tuna.
Man, that was a damn good win. JJ looked really good out there. Their history may be tainted deeply with felonious acts and complete classlessness, but they looked damn good tonight!!!
I'll NEVER cheer on the Crackboys, but I AM happy for their Fans like Nat!
Again, I am Happy for Nat. I'm also happy for JJ. At least he hasn't raped anybody yet!!! :gulp:

what happened is that Dallas didnt deserve to win the game.....the Keyshawn TD catch was NO GOOD!! he got 1 foot down....but his hand clearly hit out of bounds BEFORE his other foot/ankle came down in the end zone....the Seahawks got screwed big time
how the booth didnt see that is a mystery....they review the stupidest plays sometimes and they let a play like that go.....ridiculous

Maybe we got lucky.
But it's about d*mn time we got lucky had a break go our way. Not a single break has gone our way all season, if you've been watching/following them. About time.
Besides, you don't know that we wouldn't have won. It's very possible we'd have gotten AT LEAST in field, as the play in question took place on FIRST DOWN from Seattle's 34--not 4th and long from our own territory. Then we recovered the onside. With those things in mind, at the very least, it would have gone to overtime, but there's no reason why, from Seattle's 34, we couldn't have scored--one more play for meager gain alone would have put us in Cundiff's range.

the big thing about that TD was that it happened with so much time left.....if that play is called correctly you may still end up scoring a FG or TD....but most likely it would have happened with alot less time on the clock....so perhaps you are onside kicking with 45 seconds and 0-1 timeouts left....instead of 1:45 and 2 timeouts....it changed the whole complex of the final 2 minutes of that game....I just get pissed off sometimes with these refs and the whole reviewing process
as far as you not getting breaks....I'm a Jets fan and a Parcells-hater....so I sure have no sympathy for the Cowboys ;)....but you sure as hell got a huge break tonight

I sure can't argue with anything you type here.
The "Win" is tainted. The "Win" was bull................. We all KNOW that!!!! BUT, it's the Cowboys. I wouldn't expect anything less from the NFL, the Crackboys or Holmgren!!!
I'm just really happy for Nat! She's a good girl; misguided, but she's a hardcore fan. :smokin: :gulp:

It was a great game, but the past few weeks of the football season have quickened my descent into the abyss of madness. Freakin' Redskins beat my Giants and now this...
April can't get here quick enough for me.
If I can congratulate Red Sox fans, I can congratulate you Nat. You seem much nicer than most Red Sox fans I know.

Natalie deserves some Football happiness. She follows her team no matter what. You have to respect that. I know I do! :gulp:

Nat may be a good girl...but I sure dont feel bad for her of any other Cowboys fan....die-hard or not....at least Nat has seen her team win a few championships lately.....myself, JeffWeaverFan and the rest of the die-hard Jets fans have been getting crapped on by our team for years...nobody deserves more football happiness then us :)

I called it, allthough more points were scored than I expected. ;)
BTW Natalie, my niece's husband is a life long Dallas fan despite the fact he was born and raised in Chevy Chase (D.C.). He and my niece are going to the Cowboys home game this weekend(?) I think.

Hey, I call it every week. Just doesn't always work out. :P :gulp:
It's always good to hear of people representing the Blue and Silver, especially in R*dskins territory. AMERICA'S TEAM (yes, it IS copyrighted), indeed! :gulp:

Ugh. UGH!
That was an awful game. Terrible. Typical Fassel team meltdown. Talk about an "idiot kicker!" Kickoff out of bounds, 'Boys ball at the 40....Fassel's infamous prevent-D let's em casually stroll down the field....Why did you have to remind me of this?!?
The only bright side to that night was that I saw one of the all-time great post game parking lot fights of all time. A 10 on 10 (ish) melee.

Nice win for the Cowboys last night. The NFC playoff chase is going to be a real scramble.
OBTW, Seattle is a disgrace. Holmgren does not deserve to keep his job.

I root for the Cowboys when they're not playing the Jets (my team) because I'm a Parcells fan, and this was one of the most entertaining games of the year. :)

Because I think he really thought he was retiring, and because I appreciated the fact that he brought us out of the huge hole we were in in the Kotite era. He was also instrumental in some huge moves, like getting Curtis Martin, and I don't know if Martin would have come here if he wasn't following Parcells. I think he's a brilliant coach and did a great job with the Jets, and so I root for him.

Parcells, hired by the Patriots in 1993, got into a tussle with Bob Kraft when Kraft bought the team in 1994. One of Parcells quotes was "He was a new owner and I was an old coach." He was facing the same situation with the Jets when Leon Hess died and the team was sold to Johnson. I'm guessing he didn't like the change in ownership and bolted.

I'll give him credit for turning the team around....and signing Mawae and Martin.....but I'm bitter about the way our season ended in 97 in the Lions game....where Parcells wouldnt let O'Donnell "win" the game due to his hatred of him....so he jeopardized a playoff spot and let Ray Lucas and Leon Johnson start throwing passes...and of course that ended in disaster
98 we completely fell apart in Denver....our great coaching staff failed to make any adjustments and let Denver turn a 10-0 deficit to a 23-10 lead in about 5 minutes of actual game time
99 he failed to have an adequate backup QB for an aging Vinny....then failed to realize how dumb it was to keep starting Mirer over Ray Lucas
he also screwed up our cap situation at the time by giving long-term contracts to the aging Mo Lewis...Marvin Jones...and Aaron Glenn right before he "retired"....and did i mention he had to be talked out of trading up to get Plaxico Burress in the 00 draft (instead of picking Pennington)
I also forgot to mention how he stuck around as a "consultant" in 2000....instead of just leaving altogether and giving Belichick full power....thats why Belichick quit after 1 day...he knew as long as Parcells was there he would be making all the decisions...so he pushed Belichick out the door to New England where he becomes one of the best coaches ever....he then hires his "boy" Al Groh who leads us to yet another late season meltdown in 2000....then bolts to Virgina
