Poor Guy. He never had a chance with that team this season.

It's not all Dave Wannstedt's fault that the Dolphins are 1-8 this season. It's the Dolphins organization should take most of the blame.

Their season was shot before the first kickoff.

But it is his fault that they failed to make the playoffs the previous 2 years with one of the most talented teams in the entire league.
And I find it hard to place blame on the organization too, they stacked the team with talent and should have had a great shot last year and especially the year before. Certainly not their fault that Ricky Williams walked out and David Boston got hurt.

I think the biggest blame to point the dolphins is GM Rickey Spielman. Why? Don't forget that the Dolphin Front Office traded all of their picks to acquire Ricky Williams and also another draft pick to get QB A.J. Feeley.
So, the Dolphins need to hire a solid, productive, quality GM before they can hire a good head coach.
Their love affair with AJ Feely baffled me. The guy was a 3rd string qb, and was never that good yet they hailed the acquisition as a solution to their quarterback issues.
That team is painful to watch. This will be the first of many changes.
