View Full Version : Steve McNair or David Carr
Should I start David Carr against Tennessee or Steve McNair (coming off an injury) vs. Houston?
Thoughts?

I'm starting Carr over Tom Brady in NYYFans FFL. The Pats WRs are depleted and are playing against a good Seattle "D". The Titans passing defense is not that good this year and Carr and Andre Johnson should pick it apart. JMHO
Disclaimer: RIYankee is 1-4 in NYYFAN FFL...
But he does make sense on this one...

I was wondering when were you going to bring that up.

Since you and Luberboy were picking on me when I started 0-2, I thought I'd play some get back...

I hope you took RI's advice on this one.

It may not have helped me but it turned out to be the right move starting Carr over Brady. I hope Shaun McDonald and Steven Jackson have productive games tonight. My game with TBF depends on it.

Here's an interesting piece...

Question to ponder: If you could choose one of the two starting quarterbacks in the Houston-Tennessee game, which one would you take? Not as easy a choice as it was eight months ago, is it? Houston's David Carr continues to grow as a passer, throwing 266 yards and a touchdown. Tennessee's Steve McNair was picked off four times by the Texans and looked lost for much of the day as the Titans lost for the third time at home this year, falling to 2-4 and last place in the AFC South. The Texans are 3-3 and will not be a pushover for anybody this year. Heck of a job by offensive coordinator Chris Palmer to get his group playing well. With Carr more comfortable, the offense will put up big numbers in the passing game.
