Hi,
I have read the FAQ but can't seem to find the answer. How many posts do I need before I can send a PM?
I have something to discuss with one of the mods (bakntime (http://forums.nyyfans.com/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=2604)) but can't PM them.

Well, I don't want to just post a buch of meaningless things just to be able to PM someone. Hopefully they find my introduction thread instead and find it in them not to ban me.
Thanks BTW! :D

Thanks BTW! :D Why would we ban you?

I'm not sure. That is what I wanted to PM bakntime about. He banned me yesterday saying that I had been banned before under a different name and it is not the case. I sent a message to the admins from http://www.nyyfans.com/contact.php but never heard anything back.
Here is the email I got:
This is a message from bakntime at The Forum at NYYFans.com ( http://forums.nyyfans.com/index.php ). The The Forum at NYYFans.com owners cannot accept any responsibility for the contents of the email.
To email bakntime, you can use this online form:
http://forums.nyyfans.com/member.php?action=mailform&userid=2604
OR, by email:
mailto:xxxxxxxxxx
This is the message:
You were banned once under the user name Sox Sweep Again. You have been banned again.
Future re-registrations will be banned as well.
-bakntime (NYYFans.com moderator)
And my response that was not returned:
Pardon me my friend but you are completely mistaken about my having
been banned from the site before. I have no idea what you have based
this on but it is certainly not the case.
I have no idea who "Sox Sweep Again" is and only just found the site
this morning.
I have not caused any trouble as far as I can see and I feel it is
completely unfair to have been banned. There was another Red Sox fan
being an idiot in a couple of threads I posted but I have nothing to
do with that.
Please unban my account, I have done nothing wrong.
Thanks,
John
I'm not the only Sox fan in my place of employment so if you are basing your assumption on IP Address then I'm afraid you have the wrong person.
I don't think that anything I said in any of my posts as Yaz08 was disrespectful. Nor was anything I said meant to be. I know I'm in Yankee country here and intend to treat you people with the same respect I would expect from you on a Red Sox forum. I am a baseball fan and like to talk baseball.

We have a rule here about re-registering after being banned.
I will look in to this further, but your account has been listed as suspended in the meantime.

Sox Sweep Again was also from TN.

A few of my coworkers and I joined partypoker.com to all play Hold Em together at lunch and we could never go into the same table. I think our MIS guy said it was the IP and more then one player with the same address can not be at the same table.

No, I mean both have listed their location as Tennessee. Look at his posts.

I don't think it's mere coincidence, but Sox Sweep Again also listed his/her location as "transplanted in TN".

Yes, that's my point. More than a little curious.

Are you trying to say that a banned poster, re-registed and put the same info in the bio as was in the banned name
Sadly, that has happened before...

I think it's even more curious that it's said in the same exact verbage. Not just "TN", but "Transplanted in TN". I have no doubt it's the same person.
