Thoughts, Opinions, TrashTalk?

We still have one more game tonight. The Pack at Carolina.

Hey, maybe we can start recaps of the games like the ones that Sax started in the NYYFFBL Forum. (Maybe if we're nice, we can get a Sub-Forum for the League! :) )

It's a lot easier to post in NYYFans than it is to use Yahoo Mail. A new sub forum or a thread that permanently resides on top of NFL Board like Carissa's News Links, as well as NYY PMs would be preferable than Yahoo Mail.

I wish the hairstyle guy and JWF wouldn't play NA and other injuried players.

Girardi's hairstylist actually made one defensive move last night. I was shocked.

Better be sure not to use any flowerly language, or George will be on your case. Fair warning.

Be seeing you,

I hate when someone on the bench ends up being your highest scorer. :(

Here's to Peppers coming up with 5 sacks and about 25 tackles tonight. :gulp:

I don't see us getting a sub-forum, although that would be awesome. Without one, it's kind of rude to clog the NFL forum with weekly threads. Maybe have one big thread for all weeks/trashtalk?

Didn't we use the FBBL forum last year, for the NFL league?

Any guesses on how Green does tonight? If he scores 10 points for me my team wins the weekly pot of $25! I need just 5 points from him to win the week..

A liitle freaking late I must say...you had to know he would be a dud, when he picked such a gay name for a football team...:D

With that said, if he were to beat me, I'd be pissed...hope he plays all his dead players when he plays me too...

I'm not sure if that will work. The FBBL forum needs a LOT of room for all those countless rule changes/discussions/debates. :D

Here I go again......

I just got the email from one of my Fantasy sources.....The first three players mentioned are all Drunkards!!! This is how my FBBL season started:

1. Shaun Alexander (RB, Sea)
Update: Alexander had X-rays taken and will also have an MRI today. He
said he felt better moments after suffering the injury and that he thought
he was going to be okay. Head coach Mike Holmgren said there was a sprain,
but that it was not an ACL at least. Update: KIRO radio in Seattle is
reporting that Alexander could miss 1-2 weeks.

2. Charles Rogers (WR, Det) -
Update: Rogers broke the same collarbone that he broke last year, but in a
different spot. He is done for the season.

3. Lee Suggs (RB, Cle)
Update: Suggs' condition improved late in the week, but he was inactive
Week One. Barring a setback he should be in better shape this week, but
only time will tell.

I'm the effing Kiss of Death, man. :(

I just offered Jake Plummer for Chad to whoever has Chad but that's not my final offer! I also just signed and dropped like 5 players... My other excuse for not changing things up is that I'm visting my girlfreind this last weekend so I kinda forgot. Last time it'll happen. I swear!

When I want to add players I get a stupid #115 Error message!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted WR Terell and Johnson. I've been trying to get them all day an now they're gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I tired to add SF TE Johnson all goddamn day, and Mark gets him. Bunch of BS.

I guess he can have him though, as his consolation prize for being the first Lumberjack victim of 04. :D :smokin:

Guess what!!! :(

It's been a brutal day for fantasy WRs. Two of the league's better ones,
Detroit's Charles Rogers, and now Carolina's Steve Smith, have gone down
and gone down hard. Smith on Monday night suffered a broken fibula. He
should miss at least 2-3 months.

I am just ................ing blessed with HORRIBLE luck!!!! Man, I must have REALLY pissed off the Fantasy Sports Gods. This is just UNBELIEVABLE. It even transcends different sports.

Man, I'm ready to sacrifice one of my pets. This is just unbelievable....

I WIN WITHOUT THEM...!

3-0 in 3 leagues... thats all you need to know

Well, please try to be for week two. I'm glad you won this week, so I don't have to have a cheap win for someone else tainting the standings.

Please be active, and keep trying to sign a D. There's plenty of guys out there, I don't know why they won't let you pick them up.

So it was YOU!

I had him last year, and this year in my other league. I had nothing but great expectations for this beast of a young player, but YOU KILLED THEM! :enraged:

Tell me though, you didn't have Shockey, too, last season, did you?

This is just EERIE, man! I mean, DAMN!!! Man, there are probably sports agents out there that take out extra insurance policies on clients that I select to play for my team.

Un................ingbelievable!!! I lost BOTH starting receivers, probably my #1 running back and first pick of the draft AND even my back up running back.

Oh man, thank God I didn't draft Brett or Ahman!!!! :)

This is just beyond belief.

I have absolutely NO proof, but I really believe that somehow, some way, Boz did this.

Wow, my team sucked it up in Week 1. Lowest total in the league.

Well, everyone who's in the nyyfans FBB league knows that I started 1-3 and ended up with the best record in the league. I'm a slow starter, but eventually I'll come around.

Hopefully. :uhh:

BTW I picked up TE Chad Lewis (Phila.) and WR Cedrick Wilson (SF).

I found out that when the Yahoo server is slow, you've got to keep at it when doing an add/drop. It can take 10-15 minutes.

yeah it's good... but you know what... I was on forever last night trying to get it straight... I had to click on add and drop like 3 or 4 times per player for it to actually work...

... now someone trade me Ray Lewis or Teddy Bruschi... I will give up someone decent for Teddy B... that man is a nut
